 Its getting late, and you hurry along the beaten dirt path, eager to move out of the dense woods. A stone cave up ahead intrigues you and against youre better judgement, you slow to examine it. A shadow moves inside it, and you back away and continue down the path again. However, before you can get far, you hear a distant sounding voice. "Goodbye then," it says, stopping you in your tracks. You turn around. 
The shadow widens, and you can see the shape of a lupe. The burly figure emerges from the cave, its yellow eyes wide, but not fierce or threatening. "Oh, you are staying? Thats good. My name is Rennoch, and this is my home. I wont invite you inside, because I dont know who you are," he says matter of factly. You stammer out your name and.Rennoch says, "Well now we know each other. I still wont invite you inside, though, its very late, and you dont want to be out here when it gets dark." You notice his sharp, albeit short fangs, and you take a step backwards to leave. "Good idea," Rennoch says nodding, "but please do come back another time." He retreats back to his cave, and the last you see of him is his dark green tail, wagging idly as he walks, before you turn and tread out of the woods, not stopping for anything else on your way. |
