4/22/14: Another heavily tweaky update today. I've updated the image a bit and adjusted the image of Ravuna I drew below. I hope to add more to the story soon.

4/20/14: Happy Easter! I've finally put up Ravuna's new petlookup! About time. Not only that, but I have updated her petpage as well. I'm hoping to have a BC entry entered within the next month or so. It feels good to be finally making progress with her. c:

2/25/14: I've almost completed Ravuna's new petlookup! It should be up shortly. I may soon edit this layout as well to better match the lookup that I'll soon have up.

9/08/13: Just a quick update today. I've added a texture to the blue portion when the info sits. Why? I don't know, because I'm texture happy. Lol. And, I removed the purple butterfly animation because, well. It was bad, haha. Instead, I made the mushrooms on the bottom glow.

Oh yeah! I almost forgot! Ravuna won gold in species for the beauty contest last week! She has been gold banned and I am thrilled! c:

8/11/13: Looking at the date, it has been two years since I have updated this page!! I could never seem to thoroughly love Ravuna's previous character, so I'm trying to reinvent her again. Plenty of content soon to come and I am thrilled about the layout!

9/11/11: Just a small update, added some more info about Ravuna and I might be adding a goal section soon.

9/2/11: Added a small bit of bio information on Ravuna based on how and why I created her. I may do this with my other pets to show how much I adore them. The links need to be fixed as well as the link back section.

9/1/11: Just a little more of the story added. Luckily, it's technically the weekend for me so I may feel up to adding more parts to the story this weekend if I find time.

8/29/11:Finally got the Glack to attach to Ravuna's petpet which took me around 10 minutes of refreshing! Plus, today I've added onto the story a little bit.

8/28/11: It's such a raining day outside that I decided to hunker down here and write a little more of the story. I've added another picture too. Hopefully it'll give a better idea of the environment in the story. :3

8/27/11: I did something pretty neat with the navigation I think. (: Sad thing is, the links don't work yet, LOL. What can I say, I'm a slow/poor coder.

8/26/11: Yay, I finally placed the picture up! I still haven't decided if I want to redo the layout, so for now I'll just leave as is. I need to begin working on different sections though.

8/25/11: I finished an old, unfinished picture of Ravuna today and I have to say that it looks awesome! Lol, I hate to sound egotistical in anyway, but I didn't think I could draw very well. Anyway, I'm working on a new layout so hopefully it will be up soon.

5/20/11: I finally had the urge to work on Ravuna's story a little more after I read through it a couple of times. I've also noticed a few spelling errors that were fixed since I'm bad with typos. :x I've decided to increase the size of the font a little just because I'm tired of squinting.

4/2/11: Basically just tweaking the layout a little today. Also added on to some of her story. Annnd, I added a nifty picture. I may add some more to give the reader a little more interest, hopefully.

3/31/11: Had a little bit of a troubled week, but I'm hoping the weekend aids the process of recovery. I'm slowly adding to Ravuna's story and I've actually taken the step to entering her into the Beauty Contest. Although, I don't have extremely high hopes as I'm not very good at advertising. I figured that I forced myself to draw a picture that I might as well attempt to get a trophy out of it.
Ravuna lives in the humid jungle near the equator called Velipzi Rainforest. The species that thrive here are protected by the local government, but that doesn't always keep the poachers away.

The organisms that dwell here have unique cool color features that help many species blend into their surrounding. There are some key features to the eyries that live here. First, many of the eyries have either light green stripes or spots on their hindquarters. In some rare cases, the species will have either a mix of both stripes and spots, or no features at all in this location. Ravuna has the common coloring of six stripes.

Another key component to not only the eyries, but many of the other animals here is the existence of antennae. A lot of the organisms in this leafy forest use the power of light as a way to communicate to one another. Signals are sent and are surprisingly very elaborate. The brightness, the amount the light flashes, and slight color variations help relate signals and emotions.

The most variant part of these jungle eyries are the color of their manes. Most of them fit within the cool color range, but there is still a wide variety of colors in this spectrum.

On Neo

Ravuna was created as an eyrie on July 5, 2008. The faerie eyrie had been recently released, and I had searched for quite a while for an eyrie with a name that suited what I was looking for. At the time, the price of a faerie paint brush was around four million, and I was rather broke.

However, I had also recently acquired a FFQ around the same time. Like most people, I was reluctant to use it right away because I felt I would be 'wasting' it on a cheaper color. Eventually, I had pondered about it enough that I finally decided to go ahead and paint Ravuna faerie.

To this day, I am so glad I painted her even if she isn't the highest valued pet. I adore every aspect of the faerie eyrie, the colors, the pose, and the wings. She is truly a pet that will not be traded or adopted out until the day I finally decide to quit.

One of my future goals for her include gaining at least one BC trophy and a customization spotlight trophy. Eventually, I'd like to be able to get her intelligence up to 200 as well.

Chapter 1: The Forest Floor

The humidity was overbearing, almost suffocating as the afternoon sun torched the landscape below. Despite the suffering that the sun had brought to the forest below, life was wide awake and making due as always. There was not one in within the forest that didn't house some sort of spectacular species of insect or flora or animal.

Within a cluster on the forest floor was a pride of wild forest eyries. While very dangerous at dawn and dusk, they were fast asleep during the day. All except for one eyrie that is. "Hey, HEY! Ravuna wake up!" A very rambunctious eyrie pounced on a slumbering Ravuna. Ravuna flinched and swat out a few times in annoyance.

Stop, stop, STOP!!" The irritated eyrie flung the young eyrie off of her head. He rolled sideways and hit a nearby tree. That didn't seem to irritate him in the slightest. In fact, he started giggling profusely. Ravuna sighed and shifted back into a sleeping position. Why did he have to bother her? There was plenty of other eyries in the pack to harass, but nooooo. He had taken a special liking to her and only wanted to play and mess with her. It was rather infuriating some days. But, what was she supposed to do? He was the leader's son after all. And nobody wanted to aggravate the alpha leader.

Xander was a strange eyrie, no one would dispute. At least not out loud anyway. Most eyries sleep throughout the hottest portion of the day, but not the Alpha's son. No, he was up at the crack of noon ready to play and ready to irritate Ravuna. "Common get up!" He whispered loudly into her ear.

Ravuna sighed and slowly lifted herself up from her leafy bed. She stretched her beak in a tired yawn and sat up with as much poise as she could muster. Xander was becoming a young adult very quickly, but he refused to start acting like one. He pranced around Ravuna in a circle several times and sat face to face with her.

I wanna show you something really cool that I found today!" His sheepish grin made Ravuna roll her eyes.

Well, what did you find?" the tired eyrie asked halfheartedly. A huge grin spread across Xander's beak.

This time, I'm not telling you! You're gonna have to follow me and find out!" With a quick jab of his paw, he turned and ran off into the bushes. That was her cue to follow. He was so easily amused it flustered her sometimes. With a quick trot she followed him into the undergrowth.

----------------------------------

It's this way, come on!" Ravuna attempted her best to keep up, but his high energy left most of the eyries in the pack in the dust. His year was soon approaching and soon he would have to be trained on how to hunt. Luckily, that wasn't Ravuna's job as she was five years his senior, and for that she was greatful.

Being still half asleep, she paid little attention to the objects that appeared in front of her as Ravuna sped through the undergrowth. She hit something head on with a resounding 'whack' and spilled dust as her body retaliated against the impact and hit the ground. It was Xander.

Hgn, what's the deal?" she questioned as she picked herself off the ground, "A warning would be nice, you're loud enough any other time?" She shook the dust off and crept beside him. "Shhh!" He warned in an alarmed tone. "Look ahead at that! It's through those shrubs!" Suddenly genuinely curious, Ravuna tip toed past Xander and placed her eye adjacent to one of the exposed areas on the protective foliage in front of them. She saw smoke! And, fire!

She gasped at the site and whipped her head toward Xander. "Humans! This is a campsite!" She whispered in a panicked tone. Humans? But so close to their nesting grounds?! She had to alert the others!

Chaos stirred in her mind as she instinctively ran towards their home base. Unfortunately, she did not get very far when she heard the ailing, desperate cry of her comrade. "Help! Ravuna! Please!" Xander! How could she have forgotten him! In a quick spur, she turned around and ran towards his voice.
