I've designed this petpage to help you figure out, before you get to the prize selection screen, which prizes you should go for once you've seen your prize options.

Based on whatever set you're redeeming from, you will have different prize options available to you. By clicking on the name of the set from the links below, you will see which options you are most likely going to find the best prizes under.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not TELLING you which option to pick! I am informing you of the possibilities that exist when you choose each option. YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN FINAL DECISION!!!

For those who may be interested, I will also be listing the items redeemed by the Premium Charter members on the TCG Redeeming Board, so that an idea may be had about the possible winnings from the Paint Brush and Apple Core options.

Apple Core

Oh no! A booby prize... I'd take the next box if I were you. Some booby prizes are rarer than others, but they are still all just booby prizes :(

Paint Brush

A Cool Neopets Item! This could be a Faerie, a Paint Brush, a Codestone, or maybe something secret and unreleased!

Bag of Neopoints

It could be 1 Neopoint, 1,000 Neopoints, or even 1,000,000 Neopoints - totally random!

TCG Card

This icon represents a virtual Trading Card. You can trade them, collect them, and put them in your TCG Album!

NOTE: Under ALL circumstances, choosing the Bag of Neopoints results in a random amount of NP as a prize. It can be as few as 1 NP and an omelette (sadly, you don't actually GET the omelette), up to 1,000,000 NP (I have yet to see anyone get that much NP as the prize). The most I've seen anyone win by choosing the Bag of Neopoints is approximately 62,000 NP.
Choosing the Bag of Neopoints results in such a random prize, therefore I will not discuss the chances of receiving anything good or bad by choosing this option.

I will also not discuss anything about the TCG Card option because the only cards you can win per set are the cards belonging to that particular set! Only under VERY few circumstances will I make a note to mention special TCGs from each set.

Your best chance is to go with the Paint Brush icon, since it tends to reward you with more valuable items than the Apple Core option would. The other option you may want to opt for is the TCG Card option because of the chance of getting either the highly coveted MSPP (TCG) card or the more common Chokato (TCG) card. The best icon to go with while doing Battle for Meridell codes is the Paint Brush icon. The Apple Core prizes for this set can also be worth something (like the ripped/headless plushies) but in most situations they aren't worth very much. Back to Top

Go for the Paint Brush icons! Sleep Rays, Fungus Rays and other blasters can be found by selecting the Paint Brush option. Choosing the Apple Core icon is not recommended because of the huge amount of useless items that can be found from that icon... BUT there are plushies that can be found from the Sloth Apple Core prizes. I recommend only choosing the Apple Core items if you feel like taking a chance, or have no other option. Back to Top

Mystery Island
Within the Mystery Island set, some Apple Core prizes are actually worth something, such as the Star Gazing and Undiscovered Treasure books or the Bottle of Purple Sand. If I had to choose between any icon other than the Paint Brush icon and the Apple Core icon, I would take my chances with the Apple Core prize. Even though the Apple Core prizes may be worth something, I would still choose the Paint Brush icon over any other icon because almost all the prizes from this choice have some value as well. Best bet for this set, would be to go with the Paint Brush icon. It tends to give items such as gourmet foods, weapons and actual Paint Brushes as well! It has also been stated that it is possible to attain the Ring of Weightlessness from the Apple Core icon too though! So now you're stuck with the decision as to whether to choose the Paint Brush or Apple Core option! Back to Top

Peedleedoo petpets and a couple Usukis and Plushies can be found under the Apple Core icon. Even if you don't get any of those prizes, which you probably won't since they are so rare, it is still possible to get a few semi-decent battle weapons that can be equipped to a beginner battling pet. The items from the core prizes are decent, but unless you're looking really hard for that Peedleedoo petpet (^_^), your best bet is to go for the Paint Brush icon. Back to Top

There are other Prince Jazan and Princess Amira items that can also be received from this set. Those come from the core icons. Also it is possible to win the Darkest Faerie doll from the Apple Core icon, which most doll collectors actively seek to complete their collections. Because this set is a mini compilation of all the other previous sets, the MSPP (TCG) card can be attained by choosing the TCG Card icon, but because there are as many holographic cards in this set as there are, and because the odds of getting a holographic TCG card is slim on it's own, the chance of getting THAT specific card is even slimmer than it would have been if you had attempted to redeem it from the Base Set! All items won from the Paint Brush icon from this set can be just about any items from any of the previous sets as well, due to the set compilation factor. Choosing the Apple Core icon can be beneficial as well since it's possible to get the Atlas of Neopia and Neopian Postcards books from the cores. There are also Neopia food items that can be won, but typically these are very average in value (ranging from 1k - 3k). Back to Top

The EXTREMELY rare and expensive book Tale of Woe comes from the Apple Core icon from this set. Also, the Esophagor Pop-Up Book which is unbuyable, can also come from the Apple Core option. The more popular Apple Core items are musical instruments such as Dusty Old Tambourine, Musical Jug, and Red Mouth Harp. A few plushies can be found from the core option from this set: Bruno Plushie, Sasha Plushie, Krawley Plushie. If you don't get the Apple Core option, then going with the Paint Brush icon would probably be your best bet at getting something with a decent value. Back to Top
