Greetings guest! :D Welcome to the page where you can find all the information you need to know on how to apply to our Guild, Toxic! :D To give a brief and general understanding of our Guild, we are a 100+ member, over 3 year old (yes, long-lasting!), NR, private, active, semi-literate, and established Guild! ;) The Guild was originally founded on August 20th, 2008! :D Please take the time to continue reading if you are interested in our Guild. ^^ If you have any questions, don't hesitate to Neomail us after reading the FAQ's page! ;D Also, don't forget to visit some of the important links located on the left hand side! :3

All of these images are made by suhrena (formally known as xhuckles), so no sticky paws! Most importantly, do not edit these Layouts in any way by removing the credit and then claiming it as your own (i.e. in your portfolio, Guild, e.t.c.)! People have already helped me catch some stealers, so please do not claim someone else's hard work as your own. :/ Also, just for an added note: I do not do requests. The reason being is that it is too time consuming and I have school to worry about for now. Thanks for understanding!

History: Toxic was created on August 20th, 2008 by Serena (xhuckles/suhrena) herself and her cousin. Later on, her cousin decided to quit Neopets very shortly after and Serena was left to handle the Guild herself with only some experience with graphics + coding. D: She pretty much started solo when many of people applied for Co-Ownie, but none of them were committed. :( However, as the months went on Serena became more experienced with graphics and coding, and was able to start turning the Guild around to become successful! :D Now, the Guild is still up and running very successfully, lasting for over 3 years on the GC! ;D

Goals: One of the main goals of Toxic is to create a fun atmosphere for our members. :) We strive to be the best and the most professional. Toxic was not a private Guild before, but then we thought in order to keep Toxic successfully up and running continuously, we should make the finest members apply to the Guild. :D We have many things to offer to our members and we also always strive for more and new ideas, suggestions, or comments to make our Guild a better place! ^^

Theme: Toxic is a Neo-related Guild. :) We found it personally the easiest way to maintain the Guild. ^^ We love to play Neopets ourselves and we thought it'd just be perfect if our Guild was a Neo-related Guild as well.

Members: I personally think that as of now, Toxic has some of the best members out there - committed, understanding, kind, and respectful. ^^ This knowledge gives Council and Sub-Council more reasons to offer more to the Guild because that is the only thing we want in return. Of course, we know that our member count may seem to be huge, but don't worry! :) We do not purposely ignore anyone on the Guild Boards, we are all very welcoming, and we try to include everyone in our conversations. ^^

Activeness: Our Guild Boards are usually always active. However, it cannot be blamed about the fact that some of our Guild members do live in different time zones than others. But we thankfully have many members in very different time zones who are always active, so it works out for the best! :D To be honest, the times in which our Board appears to be flooded, is only when we host specific events that require everyone to come on the Guild Boards. xD It's only once a while and even though it may seem hectic - it's totally worth it! ;)

Of course you are probably thinking, "They say they offer a lot to their members... but what exactly do they offer?" Well, we're about to briefly tell you just some of our important features! ;) We offer a lot more, but in order to exactly see all of them, feel free to visit our Guild Webbie! :D

Rules/TTT: Since we strive for Toxic to be our best, we have specific rules that we expect our members to follow in order to maintain the Guild. :) We know that nobody likes to deal with n00bs, trolls, e.t.c. some times and that is also why we have our The Toxic Team to monitor the Guild Boards in order to maintain a happy environment, so that everyone feels welcomed and entertained! :D

Activities: We have A LOT of Activities! xD When we say that, we are not joking! :P We have our regular main Guild Activities that update every week in order to get members active and participating. ;) As of now, we have about 11 Activities already for our members... but wait! :o That's not including our Member-Hosted Activity pages. x) Yes, we said pages! :o As of now, we have about 15-20 pages! :D Can you believe that?! So, for those that love to participate and play games, this Guild is definitely for you! ;)

Point System: Instead of receiving instant prizes whenever you complete an Activity we have a point system, which is much more easier to handle and keep track of. :) Members are given the chances to earn Guild Points, which can be later redeemed for some special things! :o

Tournament: Every 1-2 months, we have a new Tournament, which consists of 3 Teams. We always have a specific theme in which the tournament round and the Teams fall under. The object of the tournament is basically for all 3 teams to compete with one another to see who can earn the most GPs! :) At the end of every Tournament, we host a award ceremony round where participants who worked very hard to earn their GPs get acknowledgment as well as other specialties! :) This is also the time where members can redeem their GPs.

Teams: In order to gain GPs individually, members are put into a Team automatically. ^^ We provided this system so that members can be sure to get interactive with other members, work together, and participate to earn themselves and their Teams GPs! We love having Guild spirit, so hard work and participation is a big plus here! :) When it comes to sorting into Teams at the beginning of every Tournament, we try our best to spread our top GPs scorers amongst the 3 Teams, so that the Teams turn out all fair. ^^

Goodies: These are usually random features that we offer to our Guild members to help them out. ^^ We have 1NP Auctions every 2 days (wow), an Adoption Agency for our members to help each other adopt out pets, a Pets UFT Page where members can advertise the pets they have UFT, Pet/Petpet Avatar Lending, and Item Avatar Lending where we like to help our members gain more avatars, graphics (i.e. layouts, fonts, banners, blinkies, e.t.c.) so members can show their Guild spirit & much, much more fun stuff! :D

Events: Every so often, Toxic hosts big, uber, and fun events for the Guild. ;) This ranges from Guild Plots, Scavenger Hunts, Keyquest Tournaments, Daily Dares, and other fun events. :D Many members in our Guild think that these are the best events because Council and Sub-Council take a lot of time and effort out of their lives to host these events for everyone. :)

Competitions: These are just some fun events for members to get active. Some current competitions that run on a daily basis are Game Day, MOTM, POTM, ROTM, The Kadoatery and others!

Since Toxic is private, we cannot just let anyone join. We only like to have members that are loyal, committed, active, kind, and respectful in our Guild. ^^ We only like to have members that are loyal, committed, active, kind, and respectful in our Guild. ^^ We do not tolerate any n00bs, people who create drama, trolls, or spies. So, here is a general checklist of some things you will want to make sure that you pass! ;P

• at least active a couple of times a week
• mature member
• not a drama starter, n00b, or troll
• respectful and kind

We accept 2 types of Applications:

NEOMAIL:
- Please make sure all of the questions and answered are neatly typed and organized, so it is readable! :)
- Make sure that your Application does not exceed over 2 Neomails! If so, it's a good idea to put it on a Petpage! ;)
- Just because you decide to put it in a Neomail, should not be a reason to put any less effort into making your Application! :(
- We appreciate that you answer the questions in detail and not just short, blunt answers.

PETPAGE:
- A premade/custom Layout is not required! However, we do love this first impression! ^^
- Please make sure your content is readable (i.e. no bright coloured, blinding fonts)
- You will still have to Neomail one of the Council members in order to tell them the URL to your Petpage. :P

When sending in Applications, please remember to be patient. Some of our Council members live in a different time zone than others, so your reply may either be fast or slow, depending on the time of day! :3 You can send your Applications to one of the following:

Do we receive a reply when we send in our Application?
Yes, you do. :) If you are accepted your reply will be an invitation to the Guild, unless Council specifically requests something from you. ;) If you are not accepted, Council will also specifically apologize and explain to you why you were not accepted.

How long does it usually take to get a reply?
It depends. Sometimes you may have to wait a day or so, other times you may be getting a reply in 5 minutes! :o

What kind of things are you looking for in a good Application?
We appreciate effort and honesty. :) But we also love reading humour and seeing creativity! ;)

Do you have any suggestions of what we SHOULD NOT do in our Application?
Skip questions, show no sign of interest, write a lack of detail or write an essay. xD

Can I join your Guild?
If you fit the requirements, then sure you can! :D But first, you have to fill out an Application. x)

I am really interested in joining your Guild but I feel as if I will become lost when if I do! :(

I sent in an Application to ____ a while ago, but there still hasn't been a respond. :/ Can I resend my Application?
If you feel as if Council might've accidentally skipped your Application (sorry in advance!), then you may. :)

Are we supposed to send in an Application to all of Council?
No way! xD Just pick one! :)
