TRICK OR TREAT?

Idiot... You quietly tell yourself as you walk down the deserted sidewalk. Surely you could have thought this through better. The sun had set a good hour ago, but of course you had to stay at the candy shop. Everything seemed to be fine when you were there chatting with your friends but, not wanting to sound wimpy, you convinced everyone you were perfectly fine walking home alone. They didn't have to know you were terrified of the dark. Who knew what kinds of crazy things could happen after sundown?

Nervously, you run your fingers through your hair. There was nothing to worry about, you reassure yourself. It's all just in your imagination; The elongated shadows, the scattered noises in the hedges, the slight flickering of the street lamps...? With renewed alertness, you freeze and look directly above your head.

Certainly, there's no way you're imagining this. "I-It's just the light bulb going out." You convince yourself, though you can't seem to keep your voice from quivering. Imitating bravery, you dare a glance down the street. Surely this isn't a coincidence. Every light down the street is flickering at the same rate as the next one down the line.

A short pop. Darkness. The buzzing of electricity exits the air suddenly, leaving an eerie silence to fill its place.

You turn to run but pause. There's one light left on just on the edge of your vision. Slowly, you angle yourself toward the last remaining light to find something, or someone rather, illuminated under the light. Shivers run down your spine as you examine the details of the figure before you. After a short examination, you determine that it's a young girl with hair like fire and shining teeth.

Before you can get over your fright and curiosity, she starts walking toward you at an even pace. You can hardly think to run before she's standing directly in front of you. "Trick or treat?" The girl demanded.

Stumbling over a couple consonants first, you finally come about an answer. "Sorry....?"

Giving you a condescending look-over, she placed her hands on her hips. "Trick. Or." Her eyes dart down to your hand still holding the bag of candy you bought this afternoon. "Treat?

Tracing her line of sight, you hold out the bag. "Uhm.... want some?"

The girl's look softened and she grabbed several pieces of gummy, quickly popping them into her mouth one by one. "Who are you anyway?" She asked, still in the middle of chewing.

You try not to stare at her gaping mouth. "guest." Raising your gaze, you look at her quizzically. "And you are...?

The mischievous grin played across her face once more. "I'll tell you anything you want if you give me another piece of candy."

PERSONALITY

On the surface Raiyleigh is very friendly, energetic, and perhaps even a bit childish for a girl her age. She loves candy, games; anything that's fun, really. A phrase she's adopted as a sort of life motto is "You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough." Hardly does she worry about consequence, choosing to only live in the now and do what feels right for the time. Ever since she was young she has loved playing tricks on people. In the beginning, they were small a harmless, but as the years went by they became more elaborate to keep her attention. With her passions being candy and pranks, it's not surprising that Halloween is her favorite time of the year.

When it comes down to it, however, Raiyleigh is very self-centered. She will very easily toss you aside in order to get something she wants. This stems from her idea of living without consequence. As a result, she normally doesn't keep friends for very long. Not to worry, since she's long given up on the concept of friendship and she relies solely on her Droolik, Fido, for companionship. She has absolutely no plans for the future, no desire to work, and feels no need to accomplish anything. The only thing that matters to her is that she does as many "fun" things as she can in her lifetime.

APPEARANCE

-Reference Picture-

Her shockingly red hair short, though in younger pictures it is down to her waist. It's cropped shorter in the back and styled so that it stands up, and her bangs are very close to covering her eyes then comes down past her chin to frame her face. She has very bright yellow eyes that have a hint of lime green in them. As a result of late nights and sleeping during the day, she has a very pale complexion. She is taller than most girls her age and has a very slim, lanky figure.

Being a fan of bright colors, she tends to wear them often though it is usually used as more of an accent. Dark, frilly clothing articles tend to dominate her wardrobe. Due to her fascination with Halloween, she often wears colors and clothing that reflects that. It is more common to see her in skirts and dresses than pants.

As far as accessories go, she tends to wear things that are more "punk". Thick bracelets, anything with skulls or crosses, and piercings are the most common. Her favorite is mismatching stockings, which are usually striped or lace. For shoes, she only wears black flats or heels. Dressy shoes, or anything that make her feet look smaller are definite choices; never sneakers.
