Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get until you look inside, and I've noticed that, in essence, it's true. Very few people are able to guess what I'm like until they meet me. Sometimes I'm pup-like, fooling around with the best of them. Other times I'm dead serious, especially when dealing with my Pack, the BMP. Though I've been through what I have, there are still times when I feel insecure or lost, but these times come less frequently as time wears on.
Sorry for not introducing myself properly, guest. I'm rainbow_of_life, but you can call me Life. This is my petpage, which is rightfully dedicated to me :D Here you can find a whole lot of interesting junk, like info about my family, adoptables, stuff about my pack... and, generally, things about
me.

before April 27, you may notice I had a simillar layout with a different background. When Mixy's old image host died, she decided it was time to update it since she didn't much like the old one.

I do wish I had some exciting tale to tell you, a story percieved through only my eyes which I could offer you... but I do not. Maybe one day I will write of my childhood and weave some sort of devastating plot into it... but for now, I think I shall let you continue on... my page holds much information already.
What I
can tell you, is that my sister, Sun and I, were raised by our father. We have little-to-no memory of our mother at all. Our father was a strong, shadowed gelert, with wings that were large and feathered, like Sun's, though that nice golden colour like mine. He had brown eyes, and since Sun's are the same colour, the only thing we know about our mum is that she has blue eyes, to match mine. Many times we've discussed it, but neither of us could remember his name.
Our father raised us in Happy Valley, though we'd visit Neopia often enough to call it our second-home. As pups we were very playful, and we often drove our father to insanity whenever he needed to cover our mistakes.
I can't really say anything else, except that when he died both Sun and I were devastated, it felt like we'd never feel happy again.
Somehow we met Mixy, the details are blurry. We were adolescents at the time. Sun and I grew attached to her quickly, and she grew attached to us. For a long time we were her only pets, but eventually she couldn't hold herself back any longer, and she adopted a whole lot more pets...
Market Square is generally a quiet road. You begin at 18003, which is always empty, 18004 used to belong to an old lady with lots of Angelpi, and the house at 18005 growls very loudly occasionally. But things don't start to get strange until you reach 18006.
Our front door is always wide open during the day. We love visitors, we like to freak them out abit. My family is a bit... random. We're so random, that occasionally fights break out over who is the most random. So that is why we have a special poster on the wall, made by Mixy, to remind us of who truely is the most... random.
It is in need of updating, some of the family members on there may no longer be with us, and other family members we've recently acquired are yet to be added.
This is the list of everyone in our extensive family, ranked by insanity. Fel, at the top, is a Lenny who thinks he's a skieth. Seth, at the bottom, is a lupe who doesn't know the meaning of the word sarcasm. I'm near the top, but close to the middle. Most of the time I'm hypo and ecstatic, but you dropped by on a serious day :)
My twin sister,
Sun, is not surprisingly near the bottom. She's normally cooped up in her room, reading, or playing the keyboard for her adorable pup Azunii, but if not, she'll be in Neopia searching for that
perfect chocolate, which I'm sure she'll never find. Her petpet is a snow slorg called Splinter, who was given to her solely for the avatar, but since then Sun's grown attatched to him.
My adoptive brother is near the top, unsurprisingly.
Ceis always been strange. Okay, I admit, he does have his 'normal' days, but other than that he's completely wild. His petpet is a blue cobrall called Cobalt, that his girlfriend Nova gave to him.
Khor Is almost at the very bottom. She's always pretty low, it makes me wonder why she's even here. She doesn't particularly like living with all of us, when she was a filly she lived with only her mother and father. Now she's living with more than 20 neopets, all her exact opposites. Her petpet is a cute little plushie snowbunny called Sprock.
Our owner,
Mixy, is near the middle. She likes kiwi fruit very much. Even her favourite color is that of the innards of kiwi fruit. Send her some kiwi fruit and she will be in your debt for all eternity. She's not a bad owner, now that I think about it. She's more like one of us then our care taker. She doesn't really do much care-taking though, but she does love us all. She has her highs and lows, just like any other. Except Fel.

What few companions I have all come from my pack. I'm an unsocial creature; apparently. Around my friends I'm a social butterfly, but outside of my comfort zone? Let's just say I'm a moth.
My two best friends are definitely Cacci and Starlight. They've been part of my pack since the beginning, and each of our friendships have developed, and we are even related, even if it is very distantly and through marriage. They are both half-breeds, and while some pass them off as dirty or impure, of all the half-breeds I have ever met, these two are pure as gold.
Cacci is my adoptive cousin's wife, and the one and only Lupert (if you do not include her brother). She is a kind and considerate mother of one, rarely thinking of herself and always supporting others.
Starlight is one of my oldest friends, and the wife of one of my other cousins. She is a gelhusk; and proud to be one. She is the strong-willed mother of two adorable quarter-gelhusks, and she loves her family above all else. She has never failed to cheer me up.
My other friends are also very dear to me, even if I may not have spent as much time with them. The following friendships have bloomed, and I know they will continue to blossom.
Khyst was once related to me, unknown to the both of us at the time. Her deceased sister, Triquetta, was once my adoptive cousin. Since Khyst arrived in our pack lands, it was very strange how simillar she looked to her sister, and very uncomfortable as I have often mixed up the two. Mixy's close friend adopted her into her family, to spare Mixy and I the pain of memories of a cousin I missed so dearly.
Nova is almost my sister-in-law! She's currently Cei's girlfriend, but I like to embarass them a little ;D She's a wild one, yes she is. She and Ceikh share that high-on-life attitude which makes everything FUN FUN FUN.
Trikie is another gelert who is married to one of my cousins. (I sense a trend...) She's a mother of two adorable pups, one who can play the guitar, the other with some sort of mental and physical condition; I'm fuzzy on the details.

I was not made to be loved; apparently. Several times I have entrusted the safety of my heart to another, and every time it has broken. Every one of my previous loves promised me we'd be together for an eternity, and all of them lied. Why should I be forced to go through that pain again?
First there was Fireflare_gelert, who still exists as a shadow; having
not been seen for a long time. I never even said goodbye to him when we broke up years ago, and he still probably doesn't even know. Then there was Swoisha, he was truely wonderful to me! He was my best friend and I loved him dearly, until, like Fireflare, he never just dissapeared. Next there was Ritzbits72, who was probably the most loyal to me of those three. He too disappeared, yet he visited me not long after I had given up waiting. It was then we said goodbye. He saved my life once, on his farm in the middle of Meridell...
Finally, Nashilli, whom I have recently broken up with. He was truely the greatest of all his predecessors; We even had a pup together, but she died a while ago. Recently his owner unexpectedly quit Neopets. At least I know what happened to him, unlike the rest of them. I actually had a chance to say goodbye...
Since Nash and I have broken up, I've taken a vow to never let my heart be broken again. I'll never trust anyone like I did Nash, I still miss him. When I'm really low and he crosses my mind I'm not sure if I feel better or worse. No-one will ever be as close to me as he was.
How long have I had Leo now... a year or two? It's been such a long time that I can barely remember... but through the years that I've had him, there have been plenty of occaisions when he had mysteriously disappeared...
Leo came to me by chance;
Mixy had bought a gruslen for her petpet gallery (she quit when she realised how many petpets there were in Neopia) back in the days when they were cheap. She had no intention of giving it to me, she instead gave me a buzzer called Bistle whom I wasn't exactly fond of. One day Mixy got a random event from the fire faerie who dropped a spotted petpet paint brush right into her lap. At this point in time Mixy had no idea what the value of a paint brush was, so did not waste any time finding a suitable petpet to paint.
It seemed that the arrival of the paint brush was what made us see eye to eye. "Buzzers are so... blobby." She said, trying to explain to me her sudden change of mind. "And all the stripes! What's with that?" I forced myself to agree, (though I didn't point out that Gruslens had stripes too) and looking through her Safety Deposit Box her eyes fell upon the Gruslen. She picked it up and smiled. "Perfect. Now, say goodbye to Bistle!
Later that day, covered in numerous buzzer stings, we headed down to the petpet puddle to paint Leo.
A year or so passed before my twin decided to give me an early birthday present. Leo had started to look a bit down lately, so I was desperate for something to cheer him up with. Sun came to my rescue, presenting me with a cloud petpet paint brush in a petite square box. Leo was repainted and suddenly his spirits rose. Things were back to normal.
As it neared Christmas another tragedy befell us. Mixy was hacked and all of our petpets disappeared. I was devastated. Leo had been with me since I was a pup, it was so strange not having him there, curled up in my lap and purring. It was a whole months before I got him back, but as an almost unrecognizable pile of snow. Getting him painted again was another problem, as by now the price of paint brushes had risen greatly. I forget how it happened, but hey. It did.
Since the days of my adolesence, I have lived in a beautiful tundra where the skies are crisp blue and the snow is a pure white. I stumbled upon this place on my mission to find friends, when suddenly I heard word of an isolated pack high in the summits of Terror Mountain. At this time I knew very little about Neopia, and had no idea what troubles could befall me on this peak, but nevertheless I made my way up to one particular peak called the
Blue Mountain.
Upon arrival I was greeted with the warm smiles and open hearts of the current members, and I knew at once I had a home here. Soon I became so part of this pack I was even given a council position, the first delta, and I cherished my status at once.
As a year or so passed, I was upgraded to Beta and then suddenly our leader, _Karu_, decided he could no longer run our pack. Being second in line I was his first option to fill in his position, and I accepted.
Since that awkward day, I have run the Blue Mountain Pack along with my council, with many great members who continue to make me smile.

Mixy is a crazy being. She's a 13-year-old Aussie who's mood changes as quickly as the weather. From what I've figured by just sometimes watching her in our neohome, she LOVES kiwi fruit, can observe the most minute of details, and
thinks she can draw when really, she can't. x)

Mixy_fuzzy here x) I finally got of my lazy bum and made some adoptables. They are all transparent, but they all have a white border. I'm isn't too good at shading, so they're almost 2d. I won't be making any of the painted colours unless I feel like it, but you can
neomail Me asking for one if you want.
Customs are currently
open. Keep in mind that I have the right to refuse any designs that may be too difficult, and try not to get too complicated with wings or extra tails or limbs. Don't panic if I take ages making it because I can get lazy=P
No unique rules. Just abide by the usual, you know;
- Do not enter any of these in the BC.
- Don't claim any adoptables as your own art.
- Do not steal any pet designs from the custom adoptables. Each are unique to the pet and their owner.
- Never remove Mixy's signature from the adoptable.
- You can use my 'dopties to guide you in proper anatomy, but never trace them or edit them in any way, without my permisson.

Life's collected a few adoptables of her own over the years. Here are the few we've managed to find in the endless realm that is Neopia.
There are also some Trophies Life's won in there. Most of them are from other petpages, Life hasn't been very succesful in the Site and Pet Spotlites, and she's never won the BC.
