Reign of Sovvann
The Sovanns have existed for generations. The first Sovann to rule Mount Allenne was William Sovann. He was born in Sahkmet in around the year 300 BN, and founded an expedition to travel around the then-unknown tip of Meridell, to the snowy regions beyond. Not many people had traveled there then, so his idea to go on this expedition was often mocked. After saving his neopoints for many years, he bought a ship (the Lia Odina, which means "new mountain") and found a small crew to sail her. A Carpenter, a Merchant, a MetalSmith, a Weaver, a couple of soldiers and a handful of other useful people who could do various jobs, including sailing. Among the crew, he met Devona, and fell in love with her. They got married as soon as they touched land, on an island east of the Haunted Woods. They continued their voyage, now happily wedded, untill they reached their destination: Terror Mountain, caleld so because of it's freezing winds and icy temperatures.
Finding a small settlement already started, he docked the Lia Odina and looked around. The people were quite disheartened, for their were almost no natural rescources in this cold land. How could they make neopoints? He made a comment about how different it was from the lost desert, and that they might make money as a tourist location. Later generations claimed that that is why Terror Mountain is so prosperous today. William asked if there was anyone who would like to come with him from the town, and he gained a few more crewmembers who were used to the harsh climate. He took sail again, sailing to the west, following the countour of the snow-covered landscape. Finally, he found what he was looking for: an unclaimed portion of land, with a beautiful mountain rising up and all around it a forest thick with trees. He landed, and staked his claim. The Sovvann line has thrived there eversince.

Mount Allene
Mount Allene usually refers to the Sovvann familys kingdom, not necessarily the actual mountain. My parents rule over three seperate mountains: Mount Allene, where the castle is, and two smaller mountains tat are mined for rar minerals and gems. The gems are either kept for the royal collection, or sold for neopoints to support the kingdom. When William first ruled and the few generations after him, the mines were not a very safe place to work. Since then, the mines have been renewed and they now create thousands of safe, high-paying jobs for experts and beginners alike. The two smaller mountaisn ar called Ophira and Meena, sometimes referred to as the Gem Twins. Stretching in front of the mountains is a vast forest, called Irem. The trees that grow there are very rare, and only grow in a few places of neopia, so we don't chop them down very often. They burn ten times slower than normal wood, but when chopped down, a new tree starts to grow right away. Across from the forest, near the shoreline is the ship docks and the town of Nen. The ships are vital for shipping out the rare gems and wood. The town has many inns, and there's always a spot to stay! There's entertainement abundant, becuase during the harsher snowstorms of winter, we can not leave or homes, so we've learned to entertain ourselves. Plays, Shows, Singers and Poets live and perform in the town for viewer's pleasure, and are content if you flip a few coins in their hat. There are also weavers that create amazing blankets and rugs, and sewers who make coats and boots for us all. If you ask, they might even show you how they do it.

The Castle
The castle is an amazing affair, and has hundreds of rooms. It is built right into the mountain, and only about half of it is visible from the outside. It is a dark grey color that sticks out from the snow-coverd mountain, and can be seen from the water. This is where I and the rest of hte royal family preside, along with many servants, royal historians, scholars, magicians, gaurds, and other under the employ of the Sovann household. As soon as you walk in, you start to recognize the sheer size of it. There are many gran staircases, but since the castle was built, we've built hidden-away magically activate moving platforms, which are much more practical than walking up 10 flights of stairs. My room is on one of the high towers, where I can look out the wind*w and see all of Mount Allenne.

Right to Reign
Unlike many monarchies, the throne is passed on to the oldest child, weather they are male or female. In Sovvann, a child is not actually considered royalty untill they become an adult, so there are no any prince or princesses, only a queen and a king, if the monarch wishes to find a partner to help them rule the country. If there is no oldest child, the rule is passed on to the closest relative. Although, if a ruler is particularily cruel, they can be forcibly removed from the throne through a large majority of vote.

Family
Rejuvenated_Life
He, like myself, is also royalty, but he reigns in the City of Light in the desert, over the Rukis who do not wish to take a human companion.

Mishentar
Mishentar is one of my siblings that I hardly ever see. He's not a very social person, and I know very little of his past.

Gelert181870
Gelert is the oldest pet.. he was adopted very long ago, and currently changes his form all the time.

Smartose
Tose is quite new to the family, he comes from the desert. He always brings me pretty peices of jewellery for my box.

Rejuvenated_Oceanic
I don't like to talk to him, he's too strange. He used to be a jetsam, I liked him better that way.
