Hello guest and welcome to my NeoQuest guide. You might have heard of my NeoQuest II Guide; you might have not, but I'm sure you'll like this NeoQuest guide and NeoQuest too. This guide has all you need to know about NeoQuest.

If you don't know what NeoQuest is then let me explsin it to you. NeoQuest is a non-interactive game where you're a Lupe who needs to save Neopia by defeating the evil sorceror Jahbal. You start at a town and have to move to other places to beat bosses to get to Jahbal.

RPG
NeoQuest is a RPG (role playing game). RPG's are games where you are a character or characters in the story. This section of the guide will help you get a feel for RPGs.

Exploration
The basics for exploration in NeoQuest is explore, explore, and explore some more. Especially if you want to gain more levels. Theree are 3 modes for exploration. The first level is sneaking, where you encounter barely any monsters, if any at all. The second mode is normal, where you encounter some monsters, but not many. The third mode is hunting, in which you encounter tons of monsters (great node for gaining levels).

Towns
Once in awhile you'll come across a town or just somebody willing to trade items, weapons, or amor. This is a great opportunity to get newer and better items to fight the monsters and bosses with.

Items
Items play a big part in NeoQuest. They can heal you and do other stuff. You can get items from beating monsters or buying them.

Weapons and Armor
Weapons and armor are also very important in RPGs. The armor can help protect you from attacks. Weapons can help boost your attack. So get the best weapons and armor you can.

Basics of Combat
In battle you,your party, and the boss, monster or monsters have turns to attack, cast a spell, use a potion or do a special move. After defeating an enemy you get experience or exp. from fighting. You have an exp gauge, that when filled up you can gain a level. Gaining levels is continued in next RPG section.

Gaining Levels
As said in the last sectionof RPGs once you exp gauge is full you gain a level. In this section you can learn how to gain levels to the fullest extent. Once you gain a level you get a skill point. You can use that skill point to gain an ability. The more abilities you obtain the more powerful you become.

Status
Your status when exploring is at the top of the screen, above the map. When the gauge is green that means that you're close to full health. If your gauge is yellow then you shoulud probably heal. Red, you should definitely heal.

KO
When you lose all health in battle it's called being KO'd. You then have to start over at the last town (I think).

Well first of all you'll be glad to here that there aren't nearly as many bosses on NeoQuest I as there are on NeoQuest II.
