Welcome You open your eyes & find yourself sitting on a cloud, watching butterflies & other winged creatures flitting by. "Where am I?" You ask yourself as a shadowy black Ixi doe with strange markings and funky wings nad colorings lands on the cloud beside you, seeming so out of place in this bright, peaceful cloud kingdom. She seems so dark and mysterious, yet, her blazing green eyes seem to tell a story far different then what you would presume about her past life... As you look into them, you see a glimmer of a beautiful pale, purple butterfly doe, that, other than in coloring, is very similar to the doe next to you. You utter a hello in a soft voice, not wanting to spook the doe. She smiles back, and says, "Hello...I am Papilon, Queen of the Butterfly Ixis..." The shock on your face makes her chuckle, "Yes, hard to believe, isn't it? But once I fit in very well here! If you look closely, you can still see a shadow of the Ixi I once was, but, now, I'm totally different. I'm a new Ixi, in heart, personality, and appearence! Oh, what did you say your name was?" "guest... My name is guest." "Well, guest, I rarely get company now days, so would you mind hearing my story?" You give an eager shake of your head, and she begins to tell you about herself... He's really nice, though, & I'm enjoying spending time with him! Lafi: I've known Lafi since about my first day on Neopets! Then, she was a butterfly Ixi like me, but, then she changed into the gorgeus, hip, fun pop singer ixi person she is today! She also married my-I think you'd say-step brother, but they are divorced as far as I know, with 2 beautiful children I rarely see.. Family I am an only child... I was left by my Butterfly mother when I was young, and raised in the shadows with my Shadow Father.... Love *sad sigh*I was sure I was almost there with one of my dearest guy friends, but, then, we lost all contact... Likes/Dislikes Likes/Dislikes Butterflies/Ugly Bugs Flying/Walking Clouds/Dirt Dancing/All Thieves Ruling/Not Ruling Fan Art/No art at all Family Herritage Butterfly Story The butterfly Ixis where first known to be in Faerieland, thus our resembelance to Faerie Ixis. We infact built Faerieland, long before the faerie's came, took over, & named it for themselves. The faeries treated us as mere pets, not like the beings we where. Yes, they treated us kindly, but felt they where superior. My kind left Faerieland nearly 3 decades after Faerieland begun to be ruled by the Faeries, & made our home in a world perfect for our us. All of the creatures there where winged, & more then half of them where butterflies. There was no ground to walk upon, simply layers & layers of clouds. The queen who had ruled us in Faerieland, ruled us there. She was just, but would not let us return to Neopia to see the other Ixis we had befriended. Eventually, we found a new queen, an ancestor of mine who ruled us well, & allowed us to return to Neopia. In her rule, though, very few of us felt the need to return to this place where we were considered nothing, thus the minor number of us living here. Shadow STory
