Brother&Sister

You're trotting carefree down a tree lined lane in Neopia Central, on the outskirts of the main part of town. Around here, everything is neat and tidy. White walled houses with gravel driveways make up the neighbor hood, that's is, except for one. The next one over is a bright blue house, oddly painted to look tropical in the mild climate. The window is open to let fresh air in, and you can here voices coming from inside.

Haha. Yeah, me too. I can't beleive Mom let us buy this house!

One voice is light and melodic, the voice of a Female Kougra. THe other is deeper, crackly, as if someything happened to the user.

Yeah, I know. It's so airy. How did you afford the paint job?

Curioustity tweaked, you sneak up to the house and peer through the window into the kitchen of a house. There's a small table in the center, with two chairs. IN one of the chiars sits a Checkered Kougra. His skin is scarred, and the fur around his mouth is gone, but he looks cheerfull enough. At the sink, running some water into a coffee pot, is a Faerei Kougra, wings tucked in to avoid crowding the space. The Faerie kougra begans speaking again.

It's really funny, actually. I just hated the white, you know how dull white is, and how dirty it gets, but anyway, I was scraping off the siding, and found this! Isn't that nifty?

The Faerie Kougra takes the coffee pot and pours the water into the coffee maker, sliding the pot underneath it when it was empty. THen she sat down at the table, eyes resting lovingly on the Checkered Kougra. For a brief moment you wonder if they might be together.

So, Sis, we're finally moved in. Seems like it took forever.

They laugh, and you finally figure out that they are extremely close siblings. You're aobuot to turn away, when the Checkered Kougra looks up out the window and sees you.

Hey!

He calls out, standing up.

What're you doing?

You turn back around, trying to smile innocently.

Uh, nothing?

you say, trying to sound as if you hadn't been eavesdropping. The Faerie Kougra turns around.

Who is it? Oh, a visitor! Come in, come in!
