See this image above? Welp, that won't be cannon (canon?) in the future. That's right, folks: we're going through a full-blown retcon. ISN'T THAT EXCITING?

To elaborate further on that: I'm humanizing mah peeps. Yup, people. Humans. No animal-ness attached. I grew away from neopets, but have kept some characters; these guys I count among the few. However, some changes will be made...

Guardsman needs new powers; I'm not a fan of the strength + flight trope, and I'm a little sick of considering him as just the physical muscle of the group.
- I was thinking of sheild-type stuff. Barrier warrior trope. Oh! Of course; we can have it akin to Hisako Ichiki ("armor"): more focus on barriers, though, and just pieces, rather than a full form. I see kait's point with needing a strength member in every supergroup, and this way he can still sorta be that, just more interesting to me as a character.
- So, forcefields: can't send them off, but can still use them offensively.

- It's been decided: he has a bf. Just recently.
- Real avian counterpart = ? Not sure yet. Find something.... hawklike?
- Costume pattern/colours = pattern after something in the thrush family; look for yellows?.
Finch needs new boots. No idea how I'll approach them now... enh, I'll figure something out.
- Oh, and finch completes the basic supergroup by embodying the need for some sort of travel power.

Helga: I'm thinking she probably doesn't keep up the superhero shenanigans anymore. Continued a bit after team dispersal, but not anymore; focus more on job. Still like, a mentor figure to team (not just finch); kind of has a personal investment in them: unwittingly grows attached.
- Law partner = whatshisface faerie lenny I have. Gosh it's been so long, I can't even remember names I've assigned certain characters. DION, that's it. Paha, I'll have to change his last name, though; I'll still use flower (azaleas) and peacock imagery around him, though. Anyways, they work together, and he still has a hand in more shady matters; but I wouldn't particularily call him "corrupt"... not in your bad-cop kind of way. One of those ends justify the means types. Man, azaleas are ugly flowers; standard plastic lilly looking stuff going on.
  I want a bit of a Trevor Goodchild vibe with this guy.

jolt is gone. no jolt. he's not a fun character for me anymore, so I've done away with him. We now have a trio.
oh goodness, let me list the villains kai and I thought up that I now have to humanize...

VILLAINS Needless to say, we're uping the anti here. Things will (for the most part) be taking on more sinister hues.
- J P : still the shapeshifting gelatinous blob type character. Let's up the nightmare fuel, though. So yeah, can't, like form blades or anything sharp like that; but you have all that weight at your disposal there, as well as the versatility of a semi-solid material.
  - Lessen the obtuse uselessness and randomness of him. Kinda recruited by many, since so useful.
- Ugh, I can't leave out Amp.

This settled the fidgeting in the crowd and increased the lupe's fuming... not that it was diffult to set the neopian off or anything.

Over the past few months, I've been collecting data on your subject. It wasn't easy, but after working out his "secret identity", I had surveillance equiptment set up and activated around areas he frequents most. This proved to be fairly easy in the Virtupets Space Station, as my team managed to gain control of pre-existing devices.
I also had moles planted; neopians to make discreet observations in ways cameras could not.

The subject originally hails from a port on the edge of Altador. His father, a blue lenny, continues to contribute to the city's fishing industry and is native to the land. His mother, a desert lenny, apparently has some overseas travel experience at her disposal and still recieves regular mail from Qasala, despite leaving. We are currently uncertain of siblings or distant relatives. However, with a bit more time my team should remedy this minor problem.
Nevertheless, we are certain of the degree of compassion the subject shares for his parents. Something to keep in mind if the need to aquire a bargaining tool arises.

Despite the fact that the subject, one Finch Celeris, patrols the urban streets of Neopia Central, he's currently renting apartment space on the Virtupets Space Station. The most notable reason for this being his average income, which is fairly modest. Inhabiting the Space Station, he has to make his way down past the shuttle bay to the insta-port deck just to get to Neopia. This inconvenience holds potential for us, and we've pinpointed a few prime locations of interception on this daily path; I'll be neomailing them to you later on.

re-doing outfits: more off-the-rack. Zack = hoodie with skull emblem spreading across shoulders. Lauren = wide dude-style shorts, domino mask, reg top. Meg = victorian-esque overcoat, light witch hat, dress, boots, ribbon. Elias = Tight hooded top, goggles, knee/elbowpads, gloves going over sleeves, boot/sneaker things. Noah & Keath weren't done yet; Noah's hair = more stork-ish approach.
fighter-game sprites. Got meg, flux, done. Wanted to do evo or kait's peeps next.

Reinventions: foliage to flux; outfit now akin to meg team style. Gravity manip; but affects anything in path of aim. Area-oriented powers, not specific.
Reinvented Kali: magic user now. Long dark wavey hair, forhead mark, eyebrow-less. Magic effects = call back to previous incarnation by arm/tentacle/things that can form into blades/whathaveyou. 4 of them. Only 4. Dark energy. Gothic lacey style; obnoxiously big combat-like boots
Reinventions: shapechanger peep from 9th grade, to evo. Emo dude; long hair, like former incarnation. Practicalized outfit; ripped pants, worn boots, ratty white hoodie, etc. Not much here.
