Once upon a time there was a friendly old Lupe pack that roamed the barren forests of Neopia, even though you don't see or hear anything about these forests on the map. My parents were both born into this pack. When my mother and father met, they weren't my mother and father yet. First they had to go on many dates until they found each other suitable. In Lupe-world, a date is like howling together and sharing the night's hunt.
I was birthed to a small litter of one. On the night I was born, a big herd of flaming Kaus came through our pack's territory. My mother and father were conveniently the pack leaders, so they ran off to lead the entire pack in a hunt of the Kaus. But the flaming skin of the Kaus was too much for them. They all caught on fire and burned to death.
I was left all alone and on my own. Only hours old. I was never meant to survive. But I found some magical spring water that kept me alive. Eventually I was discovered by a family of kind Lennies. They scooped me up in their talons and carried me off into the Lost Desert. They fed me disgusting worms, but at least it was better than nothing. After a couple of months, I had become very fat. The baby Lennies seemed to take a nice liking to me after that.
While I was sleeping one night, the Lennies tried to eat me. I'm glad that I am a Lupe and could easily overpower them even as a pup. I got away, but the big male Lenny had bitten me very fiercely. My torso was scarred forever.

After escaping their nest, I was lost and alone in the Lost Desert. I fought my way through the scorching heat and treacherous sand, until at last I reached the infamous Coltzan's Shrine. I prayed to him and he gave me some burnt desert food. It was horrid, but I was thankful.
Then, a big helicopter came out of nowhere and whisked me away to Neopia Central. I found that it was amazing there, and I wondered why my pack had been living in the woods instead of a nice place like this. I discovered soon that I had to work for a living. I got a job as at a cheeseburger place. I had to stand outside in a cheeseburger costume and encourage people to buy our product. Unfortunately, my boss was very mean and demanding. I had nowhere to stay, so I had to live at the store, and that was the only payment that I got. He wouldn't let me quit my job, though, and he was very abusive. He yelled at me all of the time, even when I wasn't on the job. Sometimes he'd call the restaurant at night just to insult me. Through many long details, I escaped one night and never went back.
Now I was living in an alley, with no food or shelter. People were trying to mug me, and when they discovered that I didn't have anything to take, they would spit on me. I felt very worthless. It was the most awful time of my life. Worse than when my parents died.
Then one night, one glorious night. A shopper was running down the streets. I stuck my head out of the alley that I was living in and saw a Zafara girl running from a burglar. I couldn't just let her suffer. I jumped out and displayed my fierce Lupeness. Being a Lupe, I am very vicious and can certainly rough somebody up. The Zafara girl was so thankful. She felt bad for me, living on the streets. So she took me home with her to Meridell.
And that is where I live, today. In Meridell with Zinhka and all of Kouji's other pets. And we shall live happily ever after.
