    Why did my screenies turn out so small?

    When you ask me this question I assume that you've saved your screenies as BMP files and have used Photobucket. Those two as a combination are not good at all. Photobucket will resize BMP images more than any other type because the file is so large. To solve this problem I would suggest saving your images as PNG files instead. If you don't have PNG as an option, then I would say to use JPEG/JPG or GIF. Although the quality of those images isn't as good, it's better than using BMP. If you only have BMP as an option, then I would suggest using a different image host. Another way I would answer this would be to make sure that your screenies have been cropped. Large screenies will probably be resized no matter what image host you use, and they're not that great to look at, anyway. So make sure you crop everything you don't need out of your screenies.

    Recently, there have been a numerous amount of people who have come to me, puzzled. You have saved your screenies as jpg or gif or png files and they're still really small. Well, here is my explanation for that. Usually the problem is that your image is just too big. Try cropping just what you want out of the huge image. Resave it and reupload it to Photobucket. Then replace the code on your site. That should fix it.

    My parents won't let me use Photobucket/I have to save my images as BMP files. Are there any other good image hosting sites?

    Well, quite frankly, you have to use an image hosting site if you want your screenies to be available for public viewing. The one that I use most frequently is Photobucket because it's the easiest and I'm the most familiar with it. The other image hosting sites that I know of and that have been suggested to me are imageshack.us, imgspot.com, myfilestash.com, imageweb.info, theimagehosting.com, and tinypic.com. I've personally dealt with myfilestash and tinypic and they're pretty good.

    How do I convert my images from BMP to PNG?

    You could resave and reupload, which you have to do anyway, but you could use irfanview. It's simple and easy. Go to irfanview.com and download it. Yes, it's free.

    Does Photobucket cost money?

    No. Usually when you need an image hosting site they only want you to pay for their premium services, which include hosting as many pictures as you want without worrying about going over your bandwidth. Going over your bandwidth means basically that too many people have looked at your pictures and they make your pictures unable to be viewed for the rest of the month. I think the months go by when you signed up. So anyway, no, Photobucket or any other image hosting site will not cost you money.

    How do you make awards and give them to people? How do you make buttons?

    I actually have a little bit of this on the help page now... you can click     here to check it out. I'll give you a quick little explanation here, though. So you want to make an award? Then make it on Paint or whatever program you use, save it as PNG (or GIF if you're making an animation), and upload it onto your image hosting site! Then all you have to do is to take the URL of your image and give it to whoever you want. To do this on Neopets I would say to take your URL, change the Photobucket (or whatever) to Neopets, put a little note in there saying to change it back to Photobucket (or whatever), and send your neomail! Buttons work the same way. Just make your image, save it, upload it, and put it on your site! If you need help with that you can also go to the link I put earlier in this answer.

    Why are my screenies so close together?

    You have to manually space them out by using HTML. I use this tag:

    Where did you get your counter?

    I went to boingdragon.com and they have a bunch that you can pick from. You can change the colors any way you want to which is really nice. The dragon, I would assume, is the most popular.

    What/Where is that hole thing your petpet jumps out of?

    It's called the Symol Hole and it's located in Meridell. If you look by Turmaculus and by the tree there should be a small hole in the ground. Click     here if you don't feel like looking for it! ^_^

    Will you be my neofriend?

    I love making friends on Neopets. Especially ones who have screenies and love music! The only thing I don't like, though, are the random friend requests... I'd rather like to get to know you first before you ask to be my neofriend! Usually I'll have had to talk to you for a long time, not just a couple neomails. So please don't bombard me with random neofriend requests because I won't accept them!
