This page is a list of feasible suggestions for the site that myself and other neopians have come up with, mostly through threads I have posted on the premium Charter Neoboard. If you have had any ideas for the site, such as new items and for ways in which existing content can be improved, then please neomail me (sorry if my inbox is full) and I will add them here. If you think any of the ideas that appear on the page may not work, or could be abused by scammers, then contact me and I will look at it.

TNT, If any of these suggestions by neopets' players have been discussed amongst yourselves and you have decided against implementing them, please could you let me know for what reasons and I will either remove them from this page, or will throw it out to your users to discuss what could be done instead.

Below are the ideas...

The UL shields for accounts older than six years are well out-of-date. A nice idea for the shields would be for the age of the account to appear as text underneath the shield instead of as part of the image, then (similar to how avatars work) for every month we are on the site a new shield is added to a list that we have on our UL edit page, which enables us to choose a shield that we like or matches our layout's theme.

Animated UL shields.

PIN required to remove petpets and trades; items from our neohomes, neodecks, closet and WC maps and on the self-freeze page. The PIN could also be required before editing userlookups, guilds (including admin), pet descriptions and petpages; also being able to post on the neoboards and in our guilds to prevent malicious posting from people who gain access to our accounts. Are there any more pages that need protecting?

A record of sent items in the item transfer log and neomail.

Sub-accounts for children of adult players to use. They would be like any other account, but the parent account would be able to block access to areas of the site that they choose and would also be alerted too if any rules are broken.

Karma points. By doing good deeds on the site (such as donating to the Money Tree and Tombola, having happy pets and having old accounts, etc), we are rewarded with increased chances of good REs, dailies and chance of FQs (and FFQ!).

Co-operative Battles for friends who want to team up and battle very strong opponents.

Suggestions for new 1 Player Battledome opponents:
Replace 'Inflatable Balthazar' with 'Inflatable n00b', or any other character (and less random) we neopians would like to bash.

There are not many reasons to fight the 1P BD opponents. A nice incentive would be to have some kind of prize to win for beating the opponent a certain amount of times or be randomly awarded. To win one of the BD weapons that are exclusive to that opponent would be good, such as Boochis Ray Gun, or a Rubber Chicken from the Chia Clown.

Stat rewards for doing faerie and kitchen quests should be given to our active pet.

A Library Faerie Quest that raises intelligence stats, maybe asking for neoschool items and books.

Mute button for all games.

Update and simplify the stock market area - it is a little intimidating to new players; and to be able to arrange our portfolios by certain attributes would be a nice addition.

An annual, site-wide racing tournament, like Yooyuball.

Rewards or trophies for having grand master ranks at the end of the month.

Tweak NeoQuest 1. Make the hero look in the correct direction when moving for example.

When viewing the hi-score table for a game, it would help if our own hi-score appeared on the same page.

It would be nice to be told what place we came if we're of the fastest 250 to solve the Lenny Conundrum.

It's unfair that pets in the Beauty Contest get user's votes just by posting on the neoboards first or advertising more. What TNT should do is have a space under each entrant's image which displays three randomly selected entrants of other species and three other entrants of the same species. This would increase the chance of users voting on a pet that they feel deserves it more.

New portal themes:
Plot-inspired

A purpose for premium cards, or remove them altogether.

Give premium users a special 'site feature trophy' and make it gold when they become Charter members.

Remove 'unfair' colour changing random events (Boochi!) that we have no control over. Either that, or the ability to switch off all REs.

A dedicated server for premium users. Being as they pay to play they should have less lag.

Add the Council Chamber, Lunar Temple and Meteor Crash Site to the portal dailies bar.

To be able to send the same neomail to more than one person at a time. A max of five at a time maybe.

Larger event-icons, or place them on the white page area.

For the image on the calendar module to change to alert portal users to new news as it used to.

To be able to hold more than 50 items in our inventory.

Revise (increase) the character limit on posting and description forms.

Free passage to Lutari Island for (paying) premium users.

Character count for neomails.

Extend the time we can keep our pets in the Neolodge.

Users are alerted each time we sign in if our e-mail account matches our neopet's username, yet portal members are allowed to link their webmail with their neopet's account. This should be blocked to ovoid any more premium users from losing their accounts as has happened in recent times.

Quickstock for moving furniture to our neohomes.

An advanced Shop Wizard search where words can be omitted from the search results. For example, when searching for Codestones, emitting the word 'Plushie' will prevent the Codestone Plushies from appearing.

The default petpages are out of date and need to be rethought. Species can be searched for, for general information and specifics of pets can be found on their lookup. The content of petpages are now irrelevant, but the homepages are still an important feature for users.

The HTML guide needs redoing. Specifically how to use style tags to edit the new (easy to code) layout.

A 'Go to NeoHome' button in the action window after moving furniture in from your inventory.

If TNT are erasing an account, all of the 'special' or retired items (or those above a certain rarity level) in that account should be sent to the Money Tree, or a one-visit-per-month shop. That way, some of the most valuable or retired items on the site aren't lost forever.

Just like how the portal-modules work for premium users, regular players would like to be able to select which modules load on the homepage when they first sign into their account. The 'News Flash' module would be a necessity, but others like 'Notable Neopet' and 'Daily Puzzle' could be optional, aswell as others like 'Item Event Log' and 'Stock Portfolio'.

There's a lot of items that TNT have announced on the new features page over the years that have never gone into circulation. Instead of creating more items, the content-staff should use the time to find all of those items (they could find them listed on my any decent item-database) and have them redrawn and finally put into circulation over a week's news. Not only would it make a LOT of players happy who want items they have seen and know exist on the servers, but also put an end to Illusen & co asking for items that aren't available.

There's an Elite Boutique in the NC Mall that sells exclusive wearables to older accounts on the site. A free 'Veteran Pack' containing items would be a nice reward also for those of us that have supported the site for so long and have remained unfrozen. We missed out on the Newbie Packs that are now given to all of the new players.

Tarla's Toolbar doesn't work on Macs. Please fix that TNT.

Player's lose access to the NC Mall if they travel oversees, even though they may be able to in their home country. Can something not be done about this?

Log any changes to the poll and record the results of the last closed poll for members to see.

A picture of our pets don't yet appear with our posts on the guild message boards as they do on the neoboards.

I think it would be great if TNT made all cards from the gift shop cheap one-use items like A Mysterious Valentines Card. In the action window, before sending them to our neofriend, we could write a personal message that would be sent with it. Once it is read at the other end, the whole lot will disappear in a puff of smoke. A larger range of neo-related cards would be good. What other cards would you like to see?:

In addition to the greeting cards idea, being able to send items in a giftbox with a message would be sweet. These items will not be allowed to be put in the auction, TP or shops.

Collectors would like to see more [Special - r101] album items (Wock Til You Drop Stamp) released through REs or as prizes in competitions.

When collecting your prize for completing a World Challenge map, a poster version of the whole map (example) should be included.

The ability to send a large amount of items to a neofriend, like the quickstock. To protect our items from scammers this function must have PIN protection.

A Spork of DOOM BD item. You know, one of those spoon-fork hybrids that you get in some fast-food restaurants.

Buffalo Chicken.

Swimming Pools for our neohome/garden.

Have a sticky-topic on the Charter board (or live-chat) for staff to answer any questions paying users may have.

Sticky boards created by TNT.

A block or mute button which would hide posts from annoying or antagonising users.

Choice of having a drop down list with secret avatars in alphabetical order.

The board-maker's first post should appear at the top of each page of their thread so that those that jump straight to the most recent posts can still see what it is all about without having to load up another page.

A search feature for the neoboards so that players can find answers to questions that have already been posted, or an existing topic that is relevant for their post.

A big job, but it would be nice if all pets had artwork for when they're bloated and ill.

More Lutari colours.

Give our pets much more individuality:
Favourite foods (not just disliked foods) that raise happiness.
Do they have to like all kinds of grooming and toys?

We should be able to donate food and neopoints to the pound for the pets that are there. It should help curb inflation.

A minute or so delay on pets being visible in the pound until a means of safe pet-transfer appears on the site (see 'Accounts and Userlookup').

Allow newbies to adopt just one neopet in their first month so that neopets aren't 'locked' in neglected accounts.

Some pounders would like to leave an anonymous note for the person who gives the pet a home.

Pets that have been pounded and are not adopted for several months (because it has a horrible name?) should be deleted from the system to save space on the servers.

Picture verification when adopting a pet to prevent auto-adopter programs.

Just as shops are, Galleries by World search should be organized by size to reward those who put a lot into their collections. To stop those with incomplete or junk galleries from appearing near the top just by buying lots of space, more space should only be able to be bought by users when all space is filled. This will also save space on TNT's all-important servers.

Galleries need a rating feature like pets now have. The score could be used in the advanced search feature already suggested here. To get a fair and accurate result, only galleries that have at least 20 votes should appear in that kind of search.

Search feature for blogs.

Better organisation of gallery pages and its links. I have a large amount of items in my own gallery and when I use TNT's link to galleries I get taken to the 'all items' page that takes ages to load.

To be able to organise items in shops like we can in our galleries.

A price list for items sold in main shops.

The option to auto-sort items in our galleries alphabetically, or by rarity or type.

Raise the maximum amount that items can be sold for in our shops from 99,999np.

Being able to choose one of the pets in their account to appear as the shopkeeper in their shops and gallery would be particularly nice for those with customised pets.

A lot of space is taken up in the marketplace by shops owned by frozen or inactive accounts. It would be nice for shop-owners that are spending a lot of neopoints on upgrades to get into the marketplace if those shops are removed from the marketplace.

An auto-price feature for shops would help lazy players. It would calculate and display what the current average selling price is for that item, in the same way a price-only search works with the premium Super Shop Wizard. The user can then decide whether to sell it for that or not. It could even be a once-per-hour feature if it would be a strain for the servers.

A log page for traders who have had their offers accepted or rejected.

At the moment, a smiley TP alert appears when a lot that you have offered on is closed - it would be preferred if it was a sad face.

Raise the maximum amount of neopoints that can be offered on a TP lot to stop those that place items in the auction with high increments just so the item goes to one pre-arranged user.

Players who have bought capsules from the NC Mall may end up with a lot of multiples of the same item. A trading post just for NC Mall wearables would be helpful.

An event icon for when a course has been completed so that trainers are alerted and can put their pets on another course.
