They threw me out.
Like old trash.
Without a second thought, I was thrown from my home, all on the whim of a heartless monster.
Well I'm a monster too.
I will get back home. I will find him. And I will take my revenge.
So for now here I rot, in this gray world, a pale imitation of home.
Age: Somewhere in the thousands, though looks to be in her late 20s.
Height: 5' 10"
Current location: Some city in the human world.
Occupation: Runs her own modeling agency that also produces a monthly fashion magazine.
Her bright blonde hair, striking blue eyes, and height make her stand out wherever she goes. While in her homeland, she was a creature that essentially relied on its beauty, so it stands to reason that her human form would be pleasant as well. Rin always has her fluffy grey boa with her, whether its part of her outfit or just hidden away in her purse, she doesn't feel comfortable parted from it. The boa was actually her tail back in her homeland, but when she was exiled it was cut off to make sure she could never come back and as a punishment.
To match her flashy looks, Rin loves dressing up in a variety of equally flashy clothes. Running a modeling agency/fashion magazine she has access to the latest fashions and takes advantage of this. She would be willing to wear any outfit from simple and elegant to just plain bizarre.
Rin has two distinct sides to her outward personality, the serious no-nonsense side she shows at work, and the outrageously loud fun-loving side that comes out on her time off.
At work, she has no tolerance for the those who cannot do their jobs properly. She needs things done quickly and well. She's a bit of a perfectionist and pays great attention to details. She is quick to criticize and judges harshly, often based on first impressions.
During her time off she prefers to go out and get lost in the noisy chaos of the city. The intensity of the city is what reminds her most of her home.
At all times, she is determined and once she has set a goal for herself she does not even consider failure an option.

Ella is Rin's Faerie Tasu.
Her design doesn't look identical to the neopets version of a faerie tasu though. Her colors are simply white and a pale blue, and she is about the size of a small kitten. She is meant to look fragile and weak for she is not Rin's pet by choice. Ella is in fact not a typical pet at all.
On Rin's trips around the world, she constantly chases hints and rumors of strange otherworldly activities, in the hope that she can find a way back home. Occasionally these rumors have some truth to them, and she is led to creatures from her homeland. Ella was one such discovery.
While Rin had never before kept one of the creatures she found, Ella had a sentimental value. For you see, Ella was one of the council that had sentenced Rin to exile in the human world. Thus, Rin imprisoned Ella as a form of revenge.
Ella is never drawn looking happy. Rin also enjoys showing her off to her friends as an exotic pet, knowing that Ella would find this degrading: falling from such a high position as council member to being nothing but a pet for show.

There are two lands, existing alongside each other, on different planes of reality.
One, is the world we all know, the 'normal' one. Where people go about their daily lives, unaware of the existence of the other.
The other is a world full of monsters. From the small adorable variety to the large hulking beasts that haunt your nightmares. It is a world full of both beauty and terror, the magical and the malformed living side by side.
This world and its many lands is the place Rin once called home. The place she yearns to return to.
This is the land where Rin once lived.
Deverell is a calm and charming land. Wide, green open fields surrounded by gently rolling hills are the prevalent landscape. A bubbling river runs through the heart of the land, emptying into a large lake far inland surrounded by a bright forest with young trees.
Its inhabitants are much like the land itself. They are mostly harmless and peace loving, living each day in carefree joy. Deverell is perhaps one of the safest lands to travel through as you are not likely to meet any aggression from the inhabitants.
Birkita is a land far up North. Its frigid temperatures make this quite a harsh place to live in. Mostly made up of mountain ranges, it is nearly impossible to navigate across this land. Though freezing and dangerous, the unbelievably high mountain peaks are an amazing sight.
Perhaps the most beautiful feature of this land would be the infamous "Ice Plain." It is located at the very top of Birkita. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on the other, it is a field made of a strange kind of ice, stretching as far as the eye can see. In the night, when the light of the moon and stars hits the ice, it seems as if the ice field itself is glowing with an ethereal light.
The creatures living in this land are hardy and fierce when the occasion calls for it, for they need these qualities to survive in the harsh land.
Kegan is one of this world's most treacherous lands, even more so than Birkita. While the climate is rather mild, Kegan is just one large swampland. It is virtually impossible to navigate across for an outsider, only its inhabitants know the safe paths. One false step and you could be lost within its depths. Once lost, one does not survive long. No one dares visit there often. As a result, Kegan is a land devoid of sound except for the occasional bubble of swamp gas and scream of horror.
The creatures there are a nasty sort, not ones to help anyone but themselves. Many have extra abilities and talents with poisons, that make them well suited for living in this land.
Innes is a land restricted to most. Only the most "elite" of the creatures inhabiting this world are allowed entrance. In a world where strength determines hierarchy, they are the ruling class. Within this city, there is a council composed of this world's most strongest. This council dictates the laws of the world and enforces them strictly and harshly.
Innes is an island completely surrounded by a dark metal gate. This gate both prevents unwelcome intruders and outsiders from seeing the magnificent city within. No one but its inhabitants knows what it looks like.
The creatures living in this land are the strongest, most intelligent, and most vile.
Rin was born many years ago in a land called Deverell. The land is located in a world different from the one we know. It a a universe that runs parallel to our own, yet is filled with many strange and fantastic creatures.
Deverell is a calm and peaceful land. Always sunny and warm, the creatures there mostly spend their days lazing around together.
Though they love to relax, all creatures need to feed. For this purpose, they are able to cross over into the human world and take what sustenance they need.
While this alternate world is full of many fierce monsters who cross over to feed on humans, Rin was not that sort. She fed not on people, but their emotions.
When in her own world, Rin has an animal form (looking like a faerie wocky). When in the human world, Rin takes on the form of a human in order to be able to blend in and feed on the emotions of humans around her. To feed, she would normally simply sit in a restaurant, and absorb all the feelings around her. The joy, the drama, the angst, and the laughter all surround her and strengthen her.
The story that led to Rin's exile all began on rather unremarkable day. Rin and her closest friend were on a run through the forest at the edge of Deverell, when they came upon two strangers in a clearing.
Hiding behind some bushes, the two friends eavesdropped on the strangers. One of the strangers immediately caught Rin's eye. Both elegant and eerily beautiful, he exuded an aura of immense strength and power. At that moment, Rin decided he would be hers.
After that day, Rin came back to the clearing but never saw him again. Unwilling to give up on him, she set out to travel through all the lands, searching for any information on who he was and where to find him. After some time she discovered he was from Innes, the only city forbidden to her.
Her desire to see him again was so strong, she disobeyed the rules of this world and broke into the city. Keeping mostly to herself, trying not to be noticed, she wandered the city hoping to find him. By a stroke of luck, she spotted him on a street.
Following him to his home, she accosted him with a confession of her feelings and her admiration for him.
Like most inhabitants of Innes, this creature Rin had become obsessed with was not pleasant. Quite the opposite in fact.
Upon realizing who she was, and where she had come from, he threw her out of his home. Having such a weak creature as her near him was considered a great dishonor. Immediately summoning the authorities of Innes, Rin was captured and taken into custody until a trial could be held, to decide her punishment for trespassing into the forbidden city.
The Council of Innes, the absolute authority in the city, decided that Rin would get the usual punishment for trespassing inside: Death.
The man she had followed interjected with his own opinion.
Instead of death he proposed that she be exiled instead.
While that may seem like a more attractive alternative, in reality it is a fate worse than death for the inhabitants of their world. For in comparison to their world, the human world is but a pale imitation of the splendor of Rin's home. Living outcast from her home is like leading half a life, an eternal torment.
So Rin was cast out of her home, sentenced to forever live in the human world. In her human form, her tail remained as a boa that she could wear around her. She is rarely seen without it for not having her with it makes her feel exposed and insecure.
Once a month, she is able to take on her creature form and feel closer to her universe again. However, even her creature form is a dull imitation of what she had once been. Instead of gorgeous pink fur, it is a dark purple. Her once luxurious cream colored tail, the envy of all the creatures Deverell, had turned grey and less silky.
Rin however, would not give up hope in returning home one day, to seek out the creature that had been the cause of her exile and make him see her as more than a useless week creature.
When not at her job, Rin often travels the world chasing rumors of the supernatural or anything out of the ordinary in the hopes that she will find a creature from her home visiting the earth, or some other connection to her former land.
When she finds the odd creature from home, she captures them and conducts various unethical experiments, trying to find a way to open a gate back to her land.
This world is strange; I've just met a bunch of weirdos.
Though I'll admit, some of them are not half bad.
Here's how things went.
More meetings to come! Probably.
First, here's a reference of her quad design. ;D You know, just in case.
And of course a girl as stunning as Rin deserves a whole gallery of art. So here, a collection of pieces hopefully as gorgeous as she is.

I had a really old set up here. They were a travesty, an insult to wockies everywhere! I took them down.
Eventually I hope to have one up with updated art. On my long sad to do list.
I hope you've had a wonderful time at my page. Unfortunately, it seems it's time to say goodbye.
Why don't you take a button as a souvenir? c:
Or feel free to mail James if you have a wocky and would like a link trade. Or non-wockies too. xD
