Some people ask me if it's cold in space. I wonder why. Some people ask if it's lonely, because there's no life. But how can't they see? The stars are beautiful. The stars are life. Each galaxy is perfection, a cloud of beauty, of the brilliant white fire of the universe. How can I explain? When you're standing on earth, you are grounded. You see the stars, you see the galaxy, but you are within it. But in space, you can see it from above. You can see it swirl and dance in it's cosmic splendor. From earth, you think the stars are motionless, lonely white dots in the sky. But from above, you can see that they are spiraling together, all part of an intricate and timeless dance. I tell you, the stars are life. Their dance is warm. But there's one thing that doesn't fall into the dance, one thing that doesn't have a place, I suppose. And that thing is my cold, gray, lifeless spaceship. Will I always be a wanderer? ...Oh dear. Was I...speaking aloud? Oh, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to bore you with my musing. I should have introduced myself or-or something. (Mortified, the young aisha who was talking to himself scurries away to lurk in a corner.)

story A newborn Allyc was found by a large spaceship colony of alien aishas. He had been floating in an escape capsule all alone, when the pilots of the colony had detected an unidentified flying object on their radar. Taking the capsule into their landing dock, the alien aishas were shocked to find a newborn kitten inside. No one knew who his parents were and why he was floating all alone in a capsule, but they took him in and he was raised in the Pilot Academy on the colony. He enjoyed a happy early kittenhood in the Academy, but before long he grew restless and bored with life on the colony. Every day seemed to him the same, one duty after another, in order to keep the colony running smoothly. He wanted adventures, but nothing interesting ever seemed to happen in the colony. The Academy was designed to train the young alien aishas to become space pilots. Allyc loved flying, but soon grew restless as it became clear that the authorities of the colony wanted to use his piloting skills not for exploring in deep space, but for "protecting" the colony. Allyc thought it was pointless, since there were never any real dangers to protect the colony from. Envisioning grand adventures and heroic battles in space, Allyc took his spaceship and ran away. After months of wandering through space and finding no adventures like the ones he had dreamed about, Allyc became disillusioned with his vision of an adventurous life. Overcome with feelings of loneliness and completely lost, he couldn't even return to the Colony. Just when he was starting to give in to darkness and despair, a light shone through Allyc's dreams. When he woke, a hidden instinct spoke to him, telling him to go to a certain star. Somewhere near that star, he would find the light he was searching for. Now he wanders, but with a purpose. He travels to the star. description Potentiallycrazy, known to all as Allyc, is a shy creature from outer space. Having been raised in the Colony's Pilot Academy, he's used to discipline and order. However, he resents it. Always a free-spirit, he longs for adventure and rebels against the boundaries of conventional society, although he does so in a peaceful, nonviolent way. He's always been naive and innocent. His journeys alone in outer-space have changed his personality a lot. When he first ran away, he was adventurous and spirited. Now, through his long ordeal battling his loneliness, he has become painfully shy and quiet. In an effort to find inner peace, he has taken up meditation and aisha yoga. He is noble and kind, and his solitude has allowed him to mature and think of the greater things in life, although he is still quite confused about his place in the grand scheme of things. the spaceship Allyc shyly emerges from the corner he hid in earlier. "Why, hello there," he says self-conciously, licking a paw and passing it over his face to groom himself, "I'm Allyc. I see you've looked in my ship's databases and found out more about me." Instead of looking angry at your snooping, he looks almost relieved, as if he would never have been able to find the words to explain about his life and self otherwise. The small aisha flicks his tail, gesturing toward the rest of the spaceship. "Feel free to explore my home. I really don't mind, truly. It's been so long since I had any visitors, I'm afraid, so it's all messy and everything but-" He stops abruptly, as if not knowing what else to say, and blushes. DRAWING OF SPACESHIP WILL GO HERE! The spaceship is small and spherical in shape and a metallic silver in color. A large viewing window takes up most of one side. The interior is dominated by a huge control desk that is built in a semi-circular shape next to the wall. A pilot seat is located next to the control desk. The control desk is black in color, but flashes with all sorts of different blinking lights and buttons. There are so many, you wonder what they could possibly all be for. As Allyc watches your eyes drift curiously across the different buttons and levers, his whiskers twitch nervously, "Oh, please don't touch anything. You never know what could happen...." The other half of the small spaceship consists of a hammock hanging above some small storage compartments. Blah blah blah, I'll edit this description later, once I draw the picture. :3 the light What is this light that Allyc wants to find?
