Hi ^_^ I'm sure you stopped by this page to check out my layout or see about the tokens I have for trade. Or you were just bored or whatever! But, I'm glad you stopped by.
On Neopets, my account name is lovagees. You can call me Nita. I am 25 years old. I love Neopets, designing graphics, writing code, helping others as much as I possibly can, scrapbooking, sewing, singing, learning to draw, listening to music (mainly rock), chatting with my friends, making new friends, playing KQ, swimming, kayaking, jogging, reselling and any other types of oddjobs I can find, and reading. I love KeyQuest and have dedicated some help pages, my userlookup, and a lot of my time towards knowing all about it. I first came to Neopets in 2001 and have played off and on since then. Life got in the way for a bit and I was gone for awhile. I have quite a few goals for Neopets, and I am making a lot of them happen! I am an obsessive person, and when I get interested in something, it's hard to get my attention diverted.
I've made a ton of friends on the KQ Chat. It's a wonderful place and the people are great. I've been collecting the tokens since my best friend got me interested in them. At this point, my case is nearly completed. I will continue to trade tokens as long as I'm on here!

babagabadoosh - A longtime friend from my guild who has become one of my best friends in real life as well! Such a witty person, and protective of your friends! You're such a wonderful, special person! I am so glad we've become such great friends. Our luck seems to coincide and we have the best laughs about stuff. An amazing artist and quickly learning what I know about coding.
angelphyre21 - You are a truly wonderful, dear friend whom I have come to cherish so much! I am glad you joined in with the guild. You have so many fresh new ideas! It's so terrific! You're funny and always make me laugh.
yuri445 - Mercy you are such a refreshing person to be around! You don't hedge around about stuff, but you are always tactful with your ways. I love the energy that you have, and you have a very fun and interesting personality! The day you came to the guild was the start of a lasting friendship!

January 21, 2011:: October 5, 2010 - I was frozen for protection. I guess I was CGed, though I'm not really sure what happened. After multiple tickets I got my main account back on December 4, 2010 (my birthday!). No pets were stolen, no NPs taken, no items stolen. In the meantime, I missed all of the awesome plot on my main. But no matter there, just moved on. I try to make sure I am very careful with buying codestones and stuff from user shops.
So moving on to other things. I decided to give up Kerrisya. I have decided that even though chocolate cybunnies are very cute, they are not for me. I don't like how they customize, and that is what I find so fun. So I traded her away from a RG Aisha for clothing. Suits me. :)
I made some great sales, and painted some pets. Buikama is now a RG, and I created Tasalli. And I purchased a Kelpbeards Trident. Really nice weapon for the BD!
August 31, 2010:: The weather here is miserable. We had 45 consecutive days of weather 90 degrees or above. That is record setting stuff there! It's finally just starting to cool down a bit, but now we're about to be battered with some hurricanes that just keep coming.
In more exciting news, I made a trade and got the lovely Kerrisya - a chocolate Cybunny. I hope I can dress her up as cute as she is. I probably should have done some mock dress ups; I found this great new Neopets fansite - Dress to Impress. Brilliant!!!
I've been super busy getting ready for a baby shower for my niece and hopefully getting my son into school, and what with the heat and all, I haven't made huge progress. I did fix the Moltara UL (as featured on my side wcreations) and I've been working on some graphics. I made a new friend in the course of helping her figure out some new ways to use graphics and coding. ^_^ I learned some neat tricks to use on here, it was a major breakthrough for me!!!
June 19, 2010:: I know, nothing new for MONTHS! It is because I got a JOB! That's right. The stay-at-home mom got a job (minimal pay, but I get to take my son with me) helping my brother with a store he opened up. I haven't done much of anything on here lately, but I am going to try and rustle up something interesting right now. No time to post more.
February 2, 2010:: Lots of busy things have been going on! I traded my MSP for an UC Darigan Lenny, but just yesterday traded him for a Pirate Aisha. I just couldn't get used to having another UC Lenny. I like customization a little more than having the opportunity to have an UC. Micro is quite enough for me.
Someone else won the gallery spotlight for their KQ gallery, so I am trying to think of another idea to run with. I have something in mind, but I have NO intentions of telling anyone until I enough items to make it very evident. At first, I was going to dismantle my KQ gallery, and I did sell off a lot of things, but I have decided to just move it to a side, I love it too much.
Right now I am just doing a lot of participating in my guild and making some graphics for close friends.
November 15, 2009:: Playing a little catch up. I was feeling a bit down for a bit, just going through one of those phases. But the plot really helped. I can't remember when, but I got a MSP zap! Wooot!
October 13, 2009:: I am spontaneous, I admit. I was tired of looking at Sycotic spending his life as a Xweetok that I hated to customize. So I turned him into an Aisha, painted Snow, Christmas then Ghost to complete him. Now, he's all spiffy for Halloween! I am trying to get some work done on petpages b/c there were some coding filter issues prior to this time, and I was just existing, no progressive work on anything. So, once again, I am working hard to get caught up.
October 12, 2009:: Sycotic turned Sketch today. Looks very interesting with the Halloween stuff I have dressed him up in.
October 11, 2009:: Sycotic turned into a Red Xweetok today. Xwee's are not exactly my favorite species. For one, I don't like the ruff on their necks. I am okay with the Cybunnies, but that is still one reason Cybunnies don't top my list - just don't like the fur ring.
October 9, 2009:: My application was accepted and chosen! I will be getting Tasalli (wonderful, wonderful Lenny name!) tomorrow on my side, lovigees. This is so exciting. Only a few more pets, and I won't know what to do with myself. I will have a lot of extra pets that are going to be in need of homes as well.
October 6, 2009:: OH-EM-GEE!!!!!!! *squeals* Okay, I admit it; Karma pays back. I believe in being a nice person to deserving people. I love to help. Helping makes me happy. I usually sit and grin when I see how some advice I gave someone helped them get a truly wonderful item or pet, or some other accomplishment. People are my world. I don't like to chat on the phone, but I can type your eyes out :P I love seeing people interacting with each other. With that being said, I feel that I deserve this beautiful pet joing my family. The ULTIMATE dream family is nearly complete. Actually, the pets themselves are complete. They just need rearranged a bit. But joining that family, is 69Micro69, my new UC Faerie Lenny. I love lennies. Such beautiful pets to customize. And the UC Faerie is dazzling. As a male, obviously. Who ever heard of a female peacock? They are a plain brown-ish color. No, peacocks are glorious male birds. And one is now part of my family.
Oct 3, 2009:: I sent an application to someone for a Desert Lenny. I am dreaming of having one. I got one in a trade, but no clothing :( I really love to cross the paint clothing on my pets. I would love for this Lenny to be a part of my lenny account family.
October 1, 2009:: I moved Dekadenz to my side, lovigees, last month, so I wouldn't waste transfers. Wazoos came home today, and he is really enjoying the attention received from his family members :P
September 28, 2009:: I got Dekadenz from a very generous person today! She looks so pretty, and I am just LOVING dressing her up. She will be moving over to my side soon though.
September 23, 2009:: Sycotic turned Maraquan today! Very..... interesting color for sure. Looks really nice with the Gormball BG and the new mist from the NC Mall.
September 21, 2009:: Sycotic turned Cloud today. I was really hoping for an end to the hideous color changes, and have a gender changed instead, but luck can't always be on my side!!
September 20, 2009:: Did I think my luck was never-ending?? I gambled and zapped Sycotic. He changed from his awesome Chocolate to..... Rainbow!! *cries* Yes, horrible, ugly rainbow! Ugh! Now I will never get him back! I went ahead and used this opportunity to paint him Royal for the clothing, since I have been wanting royal skeith clothing anyways.
September 14, 2009:: A very random person messaged me today and offered to let me adopt their Robot Lenny, Ardstein since they were leaving Neopets. How ever could I say no? He looks amazing!!! He will be going to my side, lovigees. I think this will become my official Lenny account for my extra lennies ^_^
September 9, 2009:: Major error on TNT's part: Draiks were released at 6am NST. I was actually online in time to make one on my main and my side (gave to a friend). Yroth joined my family today! I was so excited, I was actually SHAKING. This brings me so much closer to a definitive completion of my pet family. Now I can move on to saving up for paint brushes, which is not nearly as intensive as saving for a draik morphing potion.
September 7, 2009:: A stunning event to mark one of the greatest days of my Neopian adventures. A very very lovely person randomly chose my name from the hat (so to speak) to receive a dream pet custom with her extra Fountain Faerie Quest. Wazoos was born today, and turned Pirate by a dip in the Rainbow Fountain Waters. I will receive him October 1st. I swooned. Wazoos is going to be so spoilt!!
July 25, 2009:: No major color changes today, but I do have some other news. I am working on an application for Buikama, the Desert Krawk. He is so beautiful and I can just dream of the ways to customize him and give him a personality. I actually sat down and wrote it all out, plotted what I would do, any changes I would make to him, etc. I am having to condense everthing into what would fit in a neomail app, or just put the content only on a petpage (what I am doing), since any layout/art/etc will not be counted toward the choice. I really think I could give Buikama a wonderful home, and I am going to put a lot of effort into showing that through words. *Note: Deadline is August 22* I have the page completed, but I am going to continue to comb over it for improvements. I don't want to be hasty in sending it in and then think of something I could have added.
July 24, 2009:: Flaronae had turned into a Pteri, and instead of getting rid of her, I love the name, so I decided to continue to zap. Today she changed colour to Island! I guess I will probably trade her or adopt her. I am sure that there are many people who would love an Island Pteri!
July 23, 2009:: Rattlebrained turned into a Red Kacheek, I was so sad about that! Then, she turned into a Blue Lutari! Which makes it hard for me to decide to keep her or not now. I like Lutaris, but I don't know if I want one on my main, as I have other permanent pets I want to be there.
July 21, 2009:: Ana completely shocked me! She changed a lovely named pet she got from the pound into a Royalboy Aisha for me! That was just the most unbelievable gift! You are truly my best friend! Caprinna will be joining me in August. I am already working on his personality as Italian royalty.
July 20, 2009:: Aklorius changed colour to Ghost and I changed the gender and traded her for a Desert Lenny, Calsifrus. Hubby is caring for her right now, and I hope to find clothes for her, and bring her to my side, war_mum.
July 19, 2009:: Aklorius turned into a Red Poogle today. Lovagees turned Fire yesterday. Not bad for the lab zaps.
My son's lip is looking so much better. Tomorrow or Tuesday we are taking him to get the stitches out. They're self-dissolving but the lip is a very fast healing area, so the stitches will start to cause a reaction if left to absorb on their own. I hope it's not as terrible as getting them put in. I've never had to deal much with stitches before, so I know nothing about them.
July 15, 2009:: A terrible thing happened today! My son fell off a chair outside and split his lip wide open. He came in the house with blood everywhere and upset that his lip was bleeding. I got it all rinsed off trying to see where it was coming from, and knew right away that stitches would be needed to close the spot. It looked like his little bottom tooth that is the sharp ones caught his lip and sliced it. We took him to the doctor and they said they could let it heal like it was, but his lip would droop slightly and he'd have a sizable dent there. So, since he's 3 and unable to decide for himself, we opted for the stitches. He wasn't curbing his activities, and I could just see him doing something to pull at his lip and open that spot back up. It took 3 stitches and it was terrible! I nearly cried, he was so upset. They gave him two shots in the lip to numb it, and then had to hold him down to stitch it. He actually stopped halfway through his kicking and screaming to say the stitches didn't hurt, they just felt funny. And then 5 minutes after it was over, he was playing again.
July 2, 2009:: Who would have ever thought that I would find a very old friend! Milly mailed me this morning to ask about my old account and we were reunited! Little did I know that she'd been looking for me and waiting for me to show back up! I am so thrilled. Having special friends like Milly is what makes coming to Neopets so wonderful. Otherwise you'd get bored just playing games and dressing up pets. It's the interaction with wonderful (and not-so-wonderful at times) people that draw us back all the time!
June 30, 2009:: Well, not what I was expecting, but something I'd been hoping for! I won the Userlookup Spotlight today! It has been a most wonderful success to be able to reach that goal!!
June 29, 2009:: I was so excited today! I received a bunch of random friend requests all of a sudden, and was starting to think something odd was going on. Finally, someone neomailed me to congratulate me on Sycotic's Notable Neopet status.
June 18, 2009:: Who knew one person could get so busy? I've got my fingers in twenty pies. I discovered pet trading and NC Mall item trading. LOL I've been a busy gal. But, the efforts are paying off. I have gotten two of my permies so far, and another few coming in July. My hubby is holding one for me, and I may beg him to use a side for another. Because I have all these other pets that need new homes now. I traded a lot of pets, and can only hope they are going to stable homes as well. But I am psyched to be getting new family members so soon!!
Note: I will be away on Saturday - family vacation. I will try to empty my inbox before I leave so hopefully it won't get too crowded. If you do happen to look here, maybe you'll realize it, and wait to mail me on Monday.
May 25, 2009:: I've had good and bad luck with the lab ray. I've gotten a Pink Kougra. But my Lutari turned into a nimmo. And my aisha, lovagees, turned into a kyrii. I've gotten interested in pet trading. Thought I could use the lab to zap pet and hopefully trade for ones I'd like to be on my accounts as permies (as in my dream pets). I've had quite a few nice pound finds :D
April 27, 2009:: I finally got my personal stuff transferred over to a new petpage - this one! Now, my token page doesn't have to be all jumbled up with random stuff that is unrelated. Now that I have this done, I can start working on some of my other projects. Milipae is now female and a Split Gelert, I might add. So far all stat changes now, so it sees that she won't be changing any more for quite some time, as I figured.
April 21, 2009:: My kau turned Robot, which looked awesome. Then I decided to zap again, just for fun, and it turned into a Green Lenny (yesterday). I finally got the avatar! Woot! Then I decided I might as well keep zapping and today, Milipae turned into a green Gelert!

Update: I moved Parshlies to my graphics side, war_mum. She still holds my dailies page, but I am moving all my goals, etc. over to here. I am going to seperate this set of pages from this petpage and move to a new one, so the Tokens and Trading Guide I've been putting together has its own petpage, without all this stuff crowding the navigation. As my pets get zapped into nice pretty things, I'll be moving them around, bringing pets from my sides here to get zapped as well.
April 10, 2009:: Today in the mail I got my Pink Bruce, Brown Uni and Cloud Kougra. I'm absolutely ecstatic about having my case nearly completed!!

Need an Unclothed Royalboy Skeith to move some clothing around.
I have a new gallery in the works. I want to get a gallery spotlight win, and that does mean I need something fresh, exciting and very unique. I think I have that, but I need to get a LOT of items for it to even start to take shape. I tried to work first on the NC portion, as some things I need are difficult to find. A few of the items I can add in from my own closet, but I had to acquire several things I didn't yet have.
