Hello, guest, and welcome to my official about me page! If you are here, you must be curious about who I am and what I'm all about. Hopefully this page will give you some insight on me, my life, and my hobbies on Neopets. Generally speaking, I am a friendly person, so please feel free to neomail me if you ever need or want. If you catch me on a bad day, though, I cannot guarantee that I will be as charming as I am normally capable of. However, I will always do my best to be respectful so long as you are respectful of me!

My name is Alycia, but most of my beloved neo-friends call me Aly. I currently reside in the same Connecticut suburb that I grew up in. It isn't always the most exciting place to be, but it is home.

When I'm not spending time on Neopets, I could be doing any number of other things. I am not always the most socially active person, but I do have a fantastic group of loving friends whose company I seek out when I am in the mood to be around people. I always strive to surround myself with others who are positive, and I think a day gone without laughing is pretty much a day wasted.

One of my all-time favorite things to do is watch movies. I love going to the movies, I love renting movies, and I love owning them. If I find a movie that I really enjoy, I can watch it about a thousand times over without it ever getting old. If I'm not watching movies, I might be reading a new book, checking out a new restaurant, hitting up the gym for a work out, or heading up to Boston for a Red Sox game or a Celtics game (depending on the season). I love to support my teams!

I first became a member of Neopets in November of 2001! Since then, I have remained an active Neopian by playing games, restocking, partaking in plots, learning how to code, and working towards my neo-goals. On average, I probably spend about three hours a day on the site so my pets are never left neglected.

My first account was the username Alycia519. Unfortunately, that account was falsely frozen by the Neopets Team in the Spring of 2006 when they inaccurately accused me of cheating on flash games. Never in my life have I cheated on a Neopets game, and I was devastated when they froze my innocent account. Although I tried numerous times, the Neopets Team declined to return the account to me and in addition to losing a bunch of neat items, I also lost my three original pets:

Shaiboo the Baby Kougra,
Aerilana the Faerie Blumaroo, and
Laraesa the Yellow Cybunny.

Those were the only pets I owned on that account, and I had no side accounts linked to that main at all. I was very devoted to my three pets, and have never pounded one at all.

After nearly eight months of fruitless attempts of trying to get my original account back, I knew it was time to let go. When forced to start over, I decided that I was so very attached to my previous pets and, for the most part, began recreating them!

My new main account, Alycia5190, was created on February 9, 2007, and has been my neo-identity ever since. In addition to my main account, I also now have four side accounts:

My most usual activities on the site include restocking and chatting about restocking here on the Restock Help and Chat board. I have been a regular restocker since the day my account was created, and even though I have spent an ample amount of time in many of Neopia's various shops, my favorite places to restock are the Food Shop, the Clothing Shop, and the Toy Shop. When I'm not restocking, I have a number of other projects I like to work on around the site. One of my most well known projects came about when the Neopets website was revamped and all the pets were redrawn. At that point in time, Neopets had not yet updated the rainbow pool, so I began focusing on helping my fellow Neopians by creating a Converted Pet Images guide, which can still be found on Shieboo's Petpage.

Something else I'm oftentimes working on is my gallery! I came up with the idea for my gallery theme when I one day came to terms with my real life cake addiction. I am a cake-aholic, and I guess it just so happens to work out that cake items around this site are so darn cute! If you'd like to check out my gallery, you can do so by clicking here!!

If I'm not restocking, working on a game trophy, or coming up with a creative way to utilize a petpage, there is a great chance that I am creating a new lookup for one of my pet's. It is important to me that each of my pet's gets his or her own look up to match his or her painted personality. Each of my pet's lookups follow the same format, but is individualized to match his or her own character.
