Hello and welcome to The Fan Directory! I'm Jinjer the creator and administrator of this site and your friendly guide during your visit here :)
You might be asking yourself what the purpose of this site is. To put it simply: as a diligent foster parent I have found that it is sometimes difficult to find good homes for good pets for simple lack of contact between foster parents and potential new owners. The wish sites that I've found only list specific species/color combos and only a small number per person. Ergo people tend to sign up for those pets which are hardest to acquire and strongly contested, leaving the slightly less popular/expensive pets in the dust. Sad, really :(
But Jinjer's here to help!
On this site, people can sign up as fans for pets by species and color separately creating a larger pool of both pets and owners to choose from. Yay for choice!

This is a public use page. Some people will gift pets, some will require applications. They will use their own judgment when picking out owners for their pets, but chances are that if you don't take care of the pets you already own, you won't be chosen for new ones.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are species and colors counted separately? Can I sign up for 3 species and 3 colors?
A: No. Every person can sign up for 3 categories total.
Q: Why don't you list _______?
A: I don't list colors with few pets because it would be redundant. I don't list Draiks and Krawks because they don't have a popularity issue.
Q: Can I sign up for a category if I plan to give the pet(s) I get to my friend/relative?
A: Please don't. Any gifters or foster parents will expect the pet to be kept by the person listed.
Q: Can I ask for only WN/VWN/DN etc. pets?
A: No. I do not record name preferences.
Q: Can I ask for only male/female pets?
A: No. I do not record gender preferences.
Q: I don't want to be listed for _____ anymore. What should I do? Can I have my choice(s) changed?
A: Just drop me a neomail containing the UN and the Categories you want to be removed from.
Q: Is there a consequence for turning down a pet offered to me?
A: No. If you don't wish to adopt a pet that is your prerogative.
Q: What are the reasons that make you remove someone from the listings?
A: - Sending in a form asking to be removed
A: - The listed account being inactive for 40+ days
A: - Someone caught trying to circumvent the 3 category maximum by signing up with different accounts
A: - I receive complaints against that person for adopting a pet then trading it after promising not to do so to the foster parent
A: - I receive complaints against that person for harassing other users listed
