If your page is listed here, you are welcome to use the graphic HERE if you'd like to. I don't require a link back, but it is appreciated! :) If you do not have a page listed here and would still like to link back - THANK YOU! I have codes for several link buttons HERE. 1 - Your page must offer codes or useful information for everyone's use. Guides, graphics, codes, premade lookups, fonts, etc. all fall into this category. Take a look at the links and categories on this page for ideas of the kinds of links I'll include. 2 - Your codes/information must be on the petpage itself, and may not direct someone off-site to get the codes/info. 3 - Send the FULL LINK (for example http://www.neopets.com/~YOURPETSNAME) to the petpage you would like added when you send your request. Just copy the link in the last sentence and change "YOURPETSNAME" to your pet's name to get the link to your petpage. If you just say "add my page"...well, I'm not psychic and I'm not going to go searching around trying to see what you meant. If you just state the pet's name, I would have to copy the name into the search box, click search, click on the pet, then click again to view their page. It doesn't seem like much trouble, but multiply that by 50 times and it's a lot of extra clicking. If you include the direct link, your page will get reviewed and (possibly) added much faster. I look at pages with direct links first. I don't know how else to say this - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send the link! Thanks! 4 - If you only have a large link back graphic, I may use a text link or alternate graphic link instead to improve page load time. THERE ARE A LOT OF LINKS HERE - SMALLER GRAPHICS ARE PREFERRED! 5 - I do not require a link back, but it is appreciated if you choose to! :D 6 - Click HERE to send your request. It's only necessary to send your request once. Thanks! I've been getting a lot of requests to add new pages recently. First of all - THANK YOU for using my page and letting me know about the great petpages out there. However, I cannot add every petpage link request that I get. While there are many funny or entertaining pages, such as jokes, pet directories, adoption agencies, pages about a certain pet or item (chias, faerie items, slushies, etc.), I'm trying to keep this page focused on pages that either (1) help users understand how to do something (game guides, HTML guides, guides on avoiding scams, etc.) or (2) offer some kind of code for everyone to use (graphics, lookups, etc.). This page has HUNDREDS of links (I'm getting close to 1000!), and it could quickly get out of control (and would not be as helpful to others) if I added every link I was sent. Thank you for understanding! Sometimes I choose not to add a page, especially if it has an extremely poor layout or is not very helpful. For example, I have seen NP guides that simply say "do the dailies" without offering any links or information on how to "do the dailies". I've also seen pages with a poor layout (black text on a very dark background) or pages that simply say "under construction" (please wait until you at least have helpful information/codes on your page before requesting to be added). If you do not see your link posted after making your request, PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME MULTIPLE NEOMAILS ASKING WHY I HAVEN'T ADDED YOUR PAGE YET. It could be that I have not yet updated this page (I usually only update on the weekends), or perhaps I've chosen not to add your page at this time. I get A LOT of neomails and, unforunately, I cannot always answer each one individually to let you know when/if your link will be added. I've had multiple instances where someone has neomailed me every day (I only check NM on the weekends) and even found me helping others on the boards and asked why I hadn't added them yet. That's a little Neo-stalkerish to me and will definitely NOT help to get your page added. However, if there is a change to your page (you have a link back graphic and you didn't before, you're changing it from graphics to lookups, you want your link removed from this page, etc.) then, by all means, feel free to neomail, I appreciate it. :D I'm not mean or cranky (really!), I just don't have a lot of free time since I started a new degree and have classes year round. I still want to keep this page clean & updated, but the new link updates wil likely be more infrequent than they have been in the past. I am keeping all of the links I'm sent, though, so one day I'll probably do a massive mega-update. |
