1. Make sure you have room for a pet on the account you want to adopt on. Make sure that account is over 4 months old.
2. Neomail or webmail me. Either one is fine. Write me a nice message with the subject as the neopet you are interested in. Include in the message what you want to do with the neopet, what account I will be sending it to, and anything else you might want me to know.
3. If I choose you I will neomail you back to let you know. If you don't get a neomail from me then you haven't been chosen. I can not mail everyone. If you are not sure and afraid that you might not have received a message feel free to mail me again. After you get my message neomail me back letting me know you still want the neopet. If you don't message me within 7 days I will find a new owner.
4. If I have a transfer available than I will send it on over and all you have to do is accept.
5. I do not like using "pound grabbing" so it is not an option.
Things that will not help you be considered
- No room for a new pet
- Being rude
- Having an account under 4 months
- Not responding to my neomails within 7 days

I got a Neomail on May 15th about a person looking to adopt a Neopet. I wrote them back the next day, saying that as soon as they have an opening (they have 4 Neopets currently) I will transfer the Neopet over to them. I also told the person to let me know when they did. Because I hadn't heard a response 2 days after I last Neomailed them I Neomailed them again, letting them know that I would like to hear from them if they are still interested. I also stated that I wouldn't want to risk my account getting filled up with lab pets, so I would find another owner if necessary. I was trying not to sound rude, but it has been 4 days. I don't want to break the rules since I told them they could have the Neopet. If they don't respond within the week could I get iced if I find a new owner? ~maximo1434
No, we think you've been more than reasonable in waiting for a response from them, so don't worry about it. Good form! :)
