There's plenty of things you can blame. You can blame the weather, you can blame your alarm, you can blame everyone around you and you can blame yourself. You can point a finger to a whole lot of things, but pushing limits is blaming things you can't scowl at and hiss beneath your breath. Do the world a favor, then, and next time you find yourself opening your mouth about 'fate', go find something to choke on. I challenge you to point at an incarnate "fate" out there, to show me this intangible concept so many people seem so set on pushing the weight of the world on. There is no such thing as fate. There is ignorance, there is naivete, there is stupidity lodged in each and every one of our skulls, and there are the decisions product of it, nothing more. No diety pen sets to writing our stories before they happen, and nothing is bound into stone. Ive heard that excuse one too many times... and I'm not buying it anymore. I've heard it pinned to death, to lost love, to failures, and I'm tired of it. Fate has never done a thing for me, and I'll sooner be ground into mud than I'll let some 'fate' guide my life. I've had that excuse force-fed to be by friends, by family, and by my enemies, and I'm sick of it. I'm sick of being lied to about something that is not there, and I'm sick of blatant ignorance. It's not fate, dolls. You're just a failure. End of story. |
