PETER - The Charmer
:::::STORY:::::
Lets just skip the "Happy little childhood" and start from where my real life began. Another day on the move. I had lost my herd a few days ago and I was all alone. The wind was harsh today, and the sun burned brightly on my back. I cross onto a long, open plain. Nothing unusual, a buck jumps past me, followed by two more. Leaving them behind, I bent my head down to graze. After a while, I lifted my head back up and spotted something. A young uni mare being chased by something, I couldn't see what. I ran after her, trying to see what was attacking her. I got close enough to see it was a wolf. I rammed my front hooves into it's ribbs. But it then turned it's attantion to me and lept at me. Rearing, I ploued my front hooves into it's ribbs again. It attached itself to my neck with it's fangs. Using my wings, I flapped them at it, making it fall. I then used the two sharp horns on my muzzle and rammed my face into it's neck, sending it flying and bleeding. Once it rised on it's feet, it retreated.
Thank you.." a femine voice called from behind.
I turned around and saw the young uni mare. Her coat was dark blue, her mane was white with light blues highlights. Her wings, feathered and the same hue as her coat. All over her were white spotts even on the wings. Top that off with a red heart on her flank and beautiful pink eyes and golden horn, you get a beautiful mare. I imedently fell head over hocks with her.
You're welcome ma'am..." I eplied idioticly.
I guess she noticed I was alone when nither of use went anywhere, so she asked if she could stay with me, she had no herd. I told her I would be delighted, gave a small bow, and started off.
Pardon my bad manners miss, my name is Peter. People in my old herd called me Peter Pan becaue I was the best flyer, but I would like it if you would call me Pter please.."
She nodded, "My name is Breez, but with no 'e' at the end. My whole name is Flying Breez, but just call me Breez."
Nodding, I walked on, looking for a watering hole. When we came to it, I stopped to think 'Why was that wolf chasing a full-grown mare? Was it insain??' I soon forgot about it and began to drink, the same with Breez.
Soon we were wondering the plains where the uni would graze, but there were no uni there.
Odd..." I said to myself.
Then, I relized why no uni were there. I put my front leg down and then I felt something clamp around my leg.
What the..?!" I wonderd.
I tried to pull free, but the chain that the clamp was conected to was strong, and keeping me there. Obveously it was made to hold a large uni.
I relized that this was the work of a human, they were trying to capture more and more uni now. Probably to work for them.
Brez, you have to get out! This chain is making too much noise, and I can smell the humans are not far! Get out!" I warned her.
She shook her head and replied "I'm staying right here and helping you!"
If I cant get myself out, you probably cant either!"
She relized that I was right and looked around, either for help or for the humans that were coming.
GET OUT!" I screamed to her.
