Pale says: If you have a page you want added or if a page no longer works, please send a Neomail to my mom, Hope's Gentle Dreaming. Just a note on what kinds of pages Mom won't list: Incomplete pages. Ones with too much incorrect info. Pages with item searches linking only to your shop. Pages that force the user to hunt for the info because it's buried under irrelevant info. Feel free to link to this page if you want to. You don't need to ask for permission, unless you feel obligated. Please do not take the code or information on any page and use it on your own without permission. Please give credit where credit is due.
I still have lots more pages to add here. No, I'm not done yet. I sure wish I were, though.
Account Login Problems: Birth Dates
NeoPets Login Problem: Birth Dates
For those that can't remember what birthdate they put in when signing up and didn't use their own. You can also take a screenshot of the information so you have it for reference, just keep it in a safe place...but this page is here for backup.
Protect yourself from COOKIE GRABBERS!
THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO AVOIDING SCAMS & MAKING SURE YOUR ACCOUNT DOES NOT GET FROZEN
Hey, don't look at me...the page owner has their title all in caps. O_o
Something I never see in these guides is information on keyloggers, which are virus programs that track every keystroke you make on your machine. They make it very easy for people to get secret words or PINs. I saw someone say that a hacker got into her account and even figured out her PIN number, and I think the only way to get both is through a keylogger. I'm not positive, but a good antivirus program or a firewall should be able to remove or block the program from being downloaded.
Defend yourself from fake login pages and cookie grabbers.
Long, but a very informative page from someone who knows lots about this kind of thing.
Info on how to avoid cookie grabbers (nothing on keyloggers, though), what dupe items are, and a story about the owner's personal experience with someone using an auto-adopter to grab avatar pets from the pound. Scary.
The Mega-Uber-Pwnsome Banner-Ad-Blocking Guide
Ways to block the banner ads. The last guides lists the most browsers. TNT has stated that users can block the ads from displaying in their browsers if they want. The last guide will be taken down in a couple of years, hopefully someone plans to mirror it before that happens.
loveywovey's Advent Calendar List
List of items given out for past years and present. Also has a FAQ at the bottom of the page.
Super's Altador Cup Game Guide
So you want to play Yooyuball?
Avatar Help Now condensed into a single page, this one may take a while to load.
There's a bit of confusion for some as to what the stats on the Concert Schedule mean. The number above the picture of the ticket is the day of the month that the band is playing (the concert schedule never changes unless a new band is added). The "Cap" number indicates the MAXIMUM number of tickets that will be sold for that band. Please note that the number ACTUALLY sold on that day may be less than the "Cap" number---apparently the number of tickets sold is random.
Battledome Challengers/Defenders of Neopia
Lists how to get that challenger you need for the next Defenders of Neopia mission (both series), but also lists some challengers not needed for it...so if you want to know how to get a certain challenger, check out this page.

A BATTLEDOME SET FOR EVERY BUDGET
Battling Without Spending a Fortune
Good luck if you're planning to enter! This guide will tell you quite a bit about the Beauty Contest, naturally. Oddly enough, there is an email here that states that you can enter a pet picture if your pet isn't painted that color (i.e., enter an alien Aisha if you own a blue Aisha), but what I read in the Editorial was that you can't enter a pet you don't own (which I've always taken to mean color as well as species). Argh.

Neocolors: Let Us Make Pages with Wonderful Colors
Has both colors by name and colors by hex code.
Converted Pets: O-Z and what the Robot pets look like without their casings
These three pages are all run by the same person. I believe they all used to be on one page; now that the images are split up onto three different pages, they load faster. Woohoo!
Converted Pets Guide: We Were Not Prepared!
These pages show you what the pets look like before and after the massive conversion we had.
Converted/unconverted Pet Faqs
Answers some questions on what the terms "converted" and "unconverted" mean, and has some screenshots on the differences.
Neopian's Cooking Pot Information Center
The table of contents is broken, so you're going to have to scroll.
This one you're definitely going to have to scroll through.
These two pages go together, read the CSS Basics before the Petpage one.
Guides for people still working on the Altador plot. Even though this plot has been open for more than a year (or is it two now?), it seems TNT have no intentions of closing it yet. Most of the guides that used to exist were taken down by their owners.

Neither one of these has been updated in a while, but I have no other guides to the Faerie Crossword, so I can't really remove them. Underwater Fishing Item Rarity and Value Supplemental page for the above guide. The "Four Month Adoption" Rule Guide We Can Adopt Painted Pets Too! If you're confused by the "four month" rule when it comes to adopting painted and Limited Edition pets from the pound, this page will tell you what colors and species you CAN adopt without restriction. This also applies to transferred pets. Thanks to Tess for giving me that link! Both pages are official Neopets cheat codes lists. You won't get in trouble for using them. Just for fun. List of Guides for Neopian Games Lots of people ask about game guides. Understandably, a single guide for them is pretty darn hard to maintain. This is the best one I've found so far. Find out how many points you need to get 1K per game play. The list is at the bottom of the page for Pheo's guide. BiMbO111's GoUrMeT NoOk, Newer Items List Hard-to-Find and Sponsor Games
Lists and Guides If you're trying to get the Top Gamer avatar, you practically NEED to play sponsor games, as there aren't enough regular Neo games to reach 250. Sponsor games are listed in your personal high scores list, even though they don't have high scores lists of their own. They are also quick to play and you can get quite a bit of NP in a short amount of time. Great guide for the sponsor trivia games. A Step by Step Guide for Guild Layouts with MS Paint The Void Directory of Pet Directories This page has lots of links on it, not just pet directories. I thought it necessary to list it twice, since the navigation area lists many topics. This page is very slow to load on my ancient computer (okay, it's 10 years old, but that's ancient in computer years). If you're on dialup, you might want to try another page first. ChaiBunneh's Petpage Directory The last two pages are not as extensive, but still good general info directories. It may be easier to find what you're looking for in them sometimes. Not really a pet page, but there is a list of guides on this person's lookup that I thought were helpful. This is the main page for it. This is the help page TNT has up for the Key Quest. 4facedangel and Amarthe's Guide to Key Quest Beta All In One Key Quest Beta Guide User guides to Key Quest. Prize guide to Key Quest. Limited Edition and Restricted Pet Guide Found a new page on just the Limited/Restricted pets. How to Get a Draik or Krawk Guide A guide for two of the most frequently asked about pet types in Neopia. The calculator page can be found here. This has some scientific functions and displays 19 digits. It's got a cool little desert scene you can watch if you don't want to use the scientific functions. Lunar Temple Quick Reference Page The Original Lunar Temple Page Lunar Temple in Shenkuu guides. They're very easy to understand, so you might want to use them...unless you're strangely obsessed with Rainbow Dung. ^_^ Lutari Island and Talisman Info Lutari Island Mobile Info Guide Guides on both Lutari Island and the talisman everyone received on their lookups. Listed here are the various ways you can change a pet into a different species or change a Chia into a fruit or vegetable color. The above page has info on morphing potions. The above page has info on magical plushies, chia pops, and some non-paintbrush ways to change your pet's color. The above page has info on the Transmogrification potions---those potions that Dr. Sloth gives out that turn your pet into a mutant. neoMillionaire? You can see what piece of a map you're missing here. Thanks for the link, Cindy! Tips to Getting World Challenge Maps Medicinal Cures for Neopian Diseases and Foods That Can Make Pets Sick This was an article published in the NT that gives some useful info on what kinds of items can make a pet sick. A quick list of the foods that make pets sick, cures, and diseases caused by certain items. Good guides on Neopian diseases and how to cure your pet if it gets sick. They list both the traditional cures from the Neopian Hospital and the ones from the Emergency Supplies and Remarkable Restorative stores. Though the alternative medicine may be cheaper, it might not cure your pet. The meteor can be found here. The meteor isn't on Kreludor's map yet, as far as I know. The Big Crash: Guide to Keludor's Strange Meteor The monthly freebies page can be found here. You can get them any time during the month. It gives out 2,000 NP and a food for each of your pets. As with all other dailies and freebies, you can only collect this on your main account. This person takes requests for music codes. Guide to the NC Mall's Mystery Capsules Has info on the capsules and what's in them. Naming Guide (page still in prograss) I took down the Negg_o_pedia listing because the page has been listed as being "under revision" for quite some time now. It also doesn't give the info that people on the boards have been looking for. I may reinstate it at a later time, but for now, the following pages are much more complete when it comes to Neggs. New Treasure Seekers Catalogue Want to know what Neggs can be turned in for tokens, which ones change your pet, and what those changes are? These are (obviously) the pages for you. XD NOTE: If a negg doesn't have a token value or isn't a magical negg from the Negg Fairy, then it is just food. I don't know why some people seem to think that neggs are always supposed to do something or be worth tokens, but it just isn't true. Only certain ones are. Neohomes, Furniture, and Garden: Guides and Items Picture views of what Neohome furniture will look like when placed in a room. Try Ctrl+F to search for the kind of furniture you want to view (e.g. snow, niptor, dung...). Some items are broken, and the page owner is also missing some (not that many, though!)...but good grief, she's got quite a collection! Neohomes and Gardens Guide: A comprehensive guide for neohomers Neohomes and Gardens Guide: Views of items in neohomes and gardens Neohomes and Gardens Guide: What's new? Neohomes and Gardens Guide: Furniture Catalog Neohomes and Gardens Guide: Garden Catalog Neohomes and Gardens Guide: Problem Items Neohomes and Gardens Guide: Neohome Tour Maps The full list of the Neohomes and Gardens pages. They're all here just in case someone needs a specific page, but from any of the pages listed you can navigate to any other. Actually, I don't...I started here in 2004!---but this page documents some of the early history of Neopets, some of the old pets, and thangs that TNT used to do but abandoned over the years. Interesting walk through Neopets history. Similar to the one above, it documents some other items on the site that have changed. This one is a bit more extensive than the first page. Companion page to the National Neopian Museum. This page may load slowly or not at all for those on old computers or those with dialup. Also has old petpets images on it. Thanks to Athriel for giving me that link! Neoquest I
Some of the images are a little small, but should still help you find your way. Neoquest II
NeoQuest
2: A Comprehensive Guide I don't know of any onsite maps for Neoquest II or any good guides for Neoquest I. I probably can't post any offsite links without getting into trouble. I probably could have put this under "Information Stations", but I think this guide would be especially helpful to first time Neopets users, while what I have listed in "Information Stations" is more for advanced users. Definitely a guide for the absolute beginner! Travelling Neopia: A New Citizen's Guide to Neopia The above two are guides on how to get paintbrushes, where they come from, and what other items will change your pet's appearance. Also gives info on non-obvious restrictions to certain species and colors, such as why you shouldn't pound an Ice Bori or why Lutaris can't be pounded. Betcha didn't know this item could paint your pet. I know I sure didn't. Too bad it's random. Lists how to raise your pet's statistics, explains what they are, and explains why your pet may not like certain items, books, and foods. Also has a section on changing pet's gender which is out of date. So I've posted what I know below: There are only a few ways to change a pet's gender currently. One is the Strange Potion, which is costly and is pretty much only found on the Trading Post. The second is through a Secret Laboratory Ray zap, however this is random and your pet may change color or species first. The third is getting the Secret Laboratory Ray Scientist as a challenger, which you can only do if you have the map assembled. When you battle him, he will randomly use Strange Potion on your pet, which will change it's gender. You can then withdraw from the fight. ##Changing a pet's gender with these methods will not change their Unconverted status to Converted.##
Cape of the Sun no longer works for changing a male pet into a female. According to TNT, this was a bug that has been fixed. The Cape of the Sun was never meant to change gender!

Pets and Painted Pets Directories
The Painted and Proud Directory
Millysal's guide has links to many types of painted pet, but is no longer being updated. The original painted pet directory.
The Void Directory of Pet Directories
Finally, something that can be used in place of Millysal's guide. This directory lists pet pages that have painted pets. Listings are by both species and color. Very helpful when trying to see what a pet will look like painted a certain color.

Leto's Guide to Neopets Premium
The most thorough guide I know of. This is the page I tend to refer everyone to who is interested in Premium or has questions or problems concerning it.
Has some tips for getting referrals. There used to be a page dedicated to that, but it got taken down.
The Qasalan Expellibox can be found here.
No prize trackers for this that I know of.
Nice page detailing the quests and items, and also has a list of what some people have been asked for on quest 35, aka the Honey Potion Quest. This user has lists of what they were asked for on at least six Illusen quests of their own.
If you want to know if Illusen's or Jhudora's quests are worth it, scroll down this page to see a list of items the author was asked for by each of these faeries. This is probably the most useful part of the page, since this question gets asked A LOT on the Help boards. Some parts of this guide I think are a bit off. For one thing, Taelia asks for food items of all kinds. I have also had Edna ask me for food, furniture, and gardening items. The uber faeries at times have only raised my stats one point, though some of my pets are very low on levels.
This guide has information on every kind of quest you can volunteer for or get randomly. However, there is one section that should be ignored---the one compiling the dates and places the Esophagor has given for the Brain Tree quest. The Brain Tree quest is rigged so that no two people will get the same answers from the Esophagor. This was done to discourage cheating. If TNT suspect you of cheating, you WILL be frozen. And don't think you won't be caught... So if you missed what the Esophagor said, you're up the creek.
The page to delete your account at can be found here.
I think I've seen a "Quitting Neopets" guide somewhere, I just need to find it.
Guide specifically written for the Rainbow Fountain and the Fountain Faerie Quest. Includes info on what colors aren't available at the Rainbow Fountain, which is a pretty common question on the help boards. Please note that the rarity listed for the quest items is most likely incomplete. While many items do fall within that range, I have also seen people state that they have been asked to retrieve r94 (Ornate Usul Gloves and Negg Tree) and r101 (Spooky Treasure Map Piece) items as well. People have been needlessly bashing others on the Help boards about the rarity of the items they were asked for because they believed that the FFQ quests could ONLY be within those numbers.
I had to include this. This guide is so thorough, I've never seen another one like it. You can be sure I'll be referring to this page when I restock!

SilverCyanide's Restocking Guide
Kipchipotto7's Beginner to Pro Restocking Guide
Lots of restocking guides. Just a note: Recently on the Help boards I found out something new about being restock banned. This happens when you've refreshed too much and no longer see items in the shops. Check the Tiki Tack shop to be sure, though---it's almost always got stock in it. But if you've been banned, the ban can last from six hours to TWO DAYS!, not only an hour like I've read in a few of those guides.

Some basic info, but also has tips on what items are good to search for.
CLAREDALE'S WIZ(Z)ING HOUR FAQ'S
A mostly basic guide with some suggestions for items to search for. She states that anyone using the Super Shop Wizard to look up "forbidden" items will be frozen...I have never heard this and I don't know if it's true. I do know that a few times I have accidentally tried to search for those items, not knowing we weren't allowed to search for Nerkmids or Transmogrification Potions, and I'm still here. Maybe the difference is that I didn't persist in searching?
The Soup Kitchen is here.
With the removal of the navigation banner, the Soup Faerie's kitchen is a bit harder to get to.
The School Faire Free Food is here.
I think that should work for all Neopets users, though I can't be sure I'm right.
The Cheetos Free Food is here.
I don't know if the Cheetos free food link will work for non-USA people.

Most people don't believe that pets can be stuck in the pound. However, as this page explains, sometimes they just don't show up in the random pet selector for some reason when people are looking in the pound for a pet. Some of these pets have great names, too.
