The Complete guide to learning how to make Screenshots

Q:What is a screenshot?
A:A screenshot is otherwise known as a Screeny. Screenies are "pictures" people take of funny/amusing/n00bish/dumb/cool things that have happened to them while on Neopets.

Q:How do you make screenies?
A:Easy! This page contains a step by step tutorial to making your screenies page.If you read the instructions and look at the diagrams it will be a synch!

Step One:
To take a screenie you press the "prt scr" key. It is to the right of the f12 button.It is marked in the picture below with a red square.Posistion the screen the way you want it to show up before taking it.

Once you have you image the size you like it, you need to save it. Dont save it as a .bmp file. The color will be distorted. You need to save it as a . jpg or . png file. You do this by going file save as (see image below)

Once you have clicked Save as then you need to save it as a . jpg or . png file by selecting one of these choices from the dropdown list. (See image below)

Step Four:
Once you have saved it you need to upload it. I personally use imageshack.us. Its free, you dont need to sign up and it is very reliable.Some people use photobucket, you make an account for that. Its your choice.If you do use Imageshack.us then keep on reading. Once you get to imageshack then click Browse, select your image and press Host. You will be taken to a screen with several URLS. Use the one I have circled below.

Step Five:
Now that your image is hosted, copy and paste the URL into your petspage and click Make Changes. Congratulations! Your first screeny is done!
