Moving Executive Levels

Moving up ranks, or "executive levels", is really not that hard. The first step is the hardest, getting 1 million neopoints. If you follow the instructions in the "Making Neopoints" section of our website you should have no problem getting there quickly.
Listed below are the rules and guidelines we follow when increasing someone's executive level.
  • To move up to Executive Level 2 you need to have 1 Million Neopoints in items, shop size, trades, auctions, neopets or in your bank account.
  • ***NEW*** If you have a LAB MAP and PETPET LAB MAP and you have the avie (or a robot or MSP pet) then that can be used to verify a certain amount towards the upgrade to level 2. The Trading Post will be used to determine the full value of the lab map.
  • NON NEOPOINTS VERIFICATION (shop size, items in trades, auctions, or gallery)- if you have met these requirements then please neomail a Main Council member and they will verify this and then change your executive level.
  • NEOPOINTS VERIFICATION - to verify neopoints in your bank account and/or stock portfolio, neomail a Main Council member and let them know that you will be providing them with a screenshot of your bank account and/or stock portfolio. PLEASE neomail them or post on the board so they will be aware that you want to move levels!
  • Please note that you can also verify in a combination of the above as long as the total is 1 million.
  • After you have become an executive level 2 then your goal is to become Top Executive, this is the highest and most Prestigious Level.
  • Time is all it takes! Each month after you have become an executive level 2 you will be upgraded another level.
  • If we have forgotten to upgrade you please do not hesitate to let us know with a quick neomail.
  • If you leave the guild and come back you have to start all over again.
  • Have fun and get to the first step - Executive Level 2.
  • To do this just search the website links for how to make neopoints! :)
  • Since it might take a bit of time for council to get to your neomail, a suggestion is to post on the guild message board that you are ready for a promotion. This way the first available council member that has the ability to promote will do so when they see your request. You are more than welcome to still neomail council directly just give them 48 hours to respond to your request.

    1 NP Auctions

  • Hey I'm new and I was wondering how do I get to the 1 np auctions?
  • When are the 1np auctions?
  • I'm new, what is a 1np auction?

Here at the PMC we have started 1 NP auctions. They are being run by pmc_guild so please send a neofriend request if you want to be a part of it. The auctions are for giving our members great deals on a variety of items and ALL points made will be used to buy bigger and better items for the next auctions.

Please visit the Guild Auction Page for more details.

  • I sent a neofriend request to pmc_guild, why was I rejected??

Neofriend requests might say rejected until we actually accept it. If you have met the requirements, you will be accepted.

According to our rule, you may participate in the 1 NP Auctions as long as you have been a member of the PMC for at least one month. If you're not sure how long you've been in the guild, look at "Members" on the left side of the guild homepage and search for your name - it will also have "date joined"!

    Guild Avatar Lending Program

  • PMC Avatar Lending Program is only for PMC guild members.
  • All items are lent with full collateral only. The collateral amount listed is firm. Collateral means that items are not lent for free and that the amount of neopoints outlined for that item/items are required for the loan. Collateral amount may change at any time without any prior notification. Prices used for collateral are gathered from the trading post and the shop wiz.

Please visit Guild Avatar Lending Program for more details.

    Healing Sick Pets

  • The cure for your pet too expensive?

Never EVER spend money to cure a sick pet! It is a waste of NP! Just go to the Healing Springs in Faerieland with your sick pet as the active pet until the Water Faerie says "(petname) is fully healed!!"
It may take several attempts but you can try again every 30 minutes. They won't be sick any more and all for the low low cost of FREE.

    Leveling Pets

  • What are all the ways to level up my pet?

  • There is a random event which can increase your pet's level. Interestingly, I have only ever gotten this for a pet who was under level 10.
  • Light Faerie quests increase your pet's level by 1. Also, Faerie Queen quests increase your pet's level by 1-3 and other stats (strength, hp, and I think defense) by 1-3 as well. Space Faerie Quests increase your pet's level by 4. All these are randomly given out.
  • The Mystery Island School and Krawk Island Academy can increase your pet's level if you train there. I recommend the Krawk Island Academy for pets under level 41 as dubloons are currently less expensive than codestones and also because you can cancel courses if you want to. It does take slightly longer though so if you are in a hurry and can spare the cash the Mystery Island School is probably for you.
  • You may get an increase in level from Coltzan's Shrine. This is more likely when you approach the shrine at every even (2, 4, 6, 8,...) hour of the day (EG: 14:00:00 NST ).
  • Winning at Deadly Dice can increase your pet's level but losing can decrease it so be careful. You can win or lose several levels this way.
  • Completing a Kitchen Quest on Mystery Island may increase your pet's level although this is fairly rare (about 1 out of 3 quests increase a random stat, of which level is one).
  • Eating a Level Up Shroom, Super Negg, or Mega Power Plushroom will gain your pet a level. Other items can be used to get a level including Kayla's Super Special Potion, the Irritable Genie in a Bottle (1-3 levels), and if you have a Kau, Kauvaras Marvellous Potion will give you 2 levels.
  • The Lab Ray can give or take away up to two levels at a time. Also if your pet is under level 20 it may reduce it to level 1. Over time I've found that it takes away more levels than it gives.
  • Winning the "up arrow" on scratchcards such as Terror Trove and Faeries Fortune Scratchcards will get your pet a level.
...I think that's all of them....

    Raising Ability Levels

  • How do you increase the level of your pets abilities?

Once you have blessed your pet with a bottled faerie, you'll notice it now has a faerie ability! For example, you can get Night Vision and it will say "Level 1". You have to land on certain spaces on the Wheel of Excitement, Mediocrity, or Monotony to increase your ability levels to make it level 2. But, this has no known effect. Also, some spaces can decrease the levels, but they cannot go down below 1.

    Making Pets Happy

  • Why is my neopet sad? How do I make it better?

    Make sure it is full.
What's its mood? If your pet's mood is not something along the lines of "joyful", "delighted!", "extremely happy" etc., it will not show up as happy. Groom your pets, play with them, have them play with their petpets, take them on a Tiki Tour or a ride on the Roo Island Carousel, etc.
The easiest way is to play with a toy, and then on the screen where it shows a picture of your pet and says something along the lines of "More! More! Let's play again!" just refresh the window by hitting the F5 key. It'll ask if you want to resend the data. Say yes. Repeat this for about three minutes and your pet will be happy as can be. :D ("Delighted!" is the highest level.)

Please note that a pet must also be fed at least up to "Not Hungry" and that it must be healed of all diseases and have at least one hit point before it will appear as "happy".

    Tarla and the Toolbar

  • Could someone tell me who Tarla is???

Tarla is the Ixi who runs the Shop of Mystery on Terror Mountain. The Neopets Toolbar is an extension for Internet Explorer and Firefox that has lots of little Neopets-related buttons, one of which is an orb that flashes yellow sometimes. When you click on this flashing orb at the right time, you can get a prize from Tarla! It can be anything from a Cybunny Baby Book to a piece of the Secret Laboratory Map or anything in between. Tarla even gives away paint brushes!!

Sadly, it does not yet work with Macintosh browsers, and because of this it is okay to post the URL of the prize at the right time so everyone can participate, even if they don't have the toolbar. But be quick! Tarla is only "in the building" for a few minutes at a time. You can download the toolbar here
    .

    Wearable Items

  • How do I get wearable items?

There are two kinds of wearable items: NeoCash and NeoPoints.
  • Neocash can be purchased online or in Target stores. You can spend your Neocash at the NC Mall. These items cannot be sold, traded, or given away.
  • Neopoints items are just like any other item: you can buy them from player shops, find them as random events, or purchase them from the main Neopets shops (Uni'sClothing and Prigpants & Swolthy, Tailors).

  • Does anyone know of a link to a list of wearable items?

For a page with a complete list of all wearable items, what species can wear them, and what they look like on a pet, I recommend this page: The Neopets Closet.

  • How do I put clothes on my Neopet?

First, have the clothing items in your inventory. Make sure they are wearable (they will say "wearable" if they are). An example of a wearable item is a Winter Blechy Hat or an Ultra Fashionable Potato Sack. Once the items are in your inventory, go to Quick Stock and put those items in your closet (it's the last option on the right). Items which cannot be worn will have an "N/A" under the Closet option. Once you have added the items to your closet, go to Quick Ref and click on "Customize" for the pet you wish to dress. On that page you will see all the clothes in your Closet that your pet can wear. Just drag and drop, and remember to save your changes!

    Converted Pets

  • What is a converted pet?

Back when they did all the redraws, certain pets were given the option to be "converted" - the colors given this option include Grey, Darigan, Royal, etc. Unconverted pets cannot wear anything except backgrounds and accessories, but retain their original artwork which many people like better than the redraws. For example, an unconverted Darigan Eyrie looks like this and a converted Darigan Eyrie looks like this.

    Finding Items for Cheap

  • I need help finding a good shop with cheap books anyone know of one?

The best way to find cheap items is through careful use of the Shop Wizard.

  • Where do I get a job coupon?

Keep in mind that the most expensive/best job coupons are unbuyable. This means they cost more than 100,000 NP and can only be found in the trades and auctions.
Brightvale Job Coupons can also be won from the Wheel of Knowledge although this is very rare.
Basic jobs refresh every 10 minutes (at 10:10, 10:20, etc.) and require no coupons.

  • Hey everybody how do you find inexpensive magical chia pops? I look every where but can't find cheap ones..

You're not going to be able to find expensive items like Nerkmids, Paint Brushes, or Magical Chia Pops for cheap unless you get VERY lucky. If these items were easy to get, they wouldn't be worth so much!

If you cannot find an item on the Shop Wizard, you're going to have to search the Trading Post and Auctions for it.

    Selling Valuable Items

  • How much should I sell my Ghost Paint Brush for?

For items that sell for 100,000NP and above, try searching on the Trading Post. Remember to search by "identical to my phrase"; or else you'll end up pricing like the Ghost Paint Brush Plushie.

If you are offered 'valuable items' for your Paint Brush; check that those items are not Hard-To-Sell (HTS). As the name suggest, they are REALLY very hard to sell. HTS items may be valuable, but they take an extremely long time to get a buyer. A Paint Brush is considered an ETS or easy to sell item, so if you price it say 5k under the lowest price on the trading post you'll probably sell it in less than a minute.....but if you're patient, price it at or above the lowest current rate and you'll get a buyer soon. It's like fishing - if you're patient you can lure in the bigger offers and get more bang for your buck.

Note: Avoid selling for a few days if Tarla just gave out that item. This floods the market and people will offer much lower prices to see if someone will be impatient and accept. Patience is the key!

    Changing and Getting Avatars

  • How do I change my avatar?

Go to the top of your screen and hover your mouse over "Boards". Choose "Preferences" from the drop-down list. The first option is "Avatar", and you can select a new one from there. Remember to save your changes!

  • I need help, I don't know how to get or use avatars.

There is a guide to help you get avatars here.

    Site Themes

  • Where do you get the purple forum thing?

You have to go to the lookup page of a purple pet with a purple petpet to get the theme. xoxo4444 is one; so is Trixie_3O3.

    Altador Miniplot

  • I'm having trouble locating the 12th constellation, the hunter, on my star map, does anyone have any tips?

Use this guide. It has a star mapper that will find the constellations for you. I used it and it worked perfectly for me. If you still can't find the constellations, make SURE you have completed all the steps leading up to it! If that link doesn't work, try doing a Google search for "altador plot star mapper".

    Posts That Break Rules

  • Can someone reply my messages? It seems like I am not that important but I do a lot of stuff on neopets!!! So please reply.
  • traalallllllllleeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  • hmmmmmm yes whatever
  • pant devil vira dark fearie the darkest fearie are old enemis

These all break Rule #4, No Spamming the Board. Posting useless messages is not allowed. We have over 12,000 members and if everyone posted junk like this, all the legit help questions would be buried under volumes of stuff nobody cares about. So just think to yourself: Does the entire guild need to read what I am posting?

  • The Water faerie wants you to give her a Mau Codestone.

Okay first of all, the Water Faerie asks for books. There is no faerie that asks for codestones. Use the shop wizard yourself. This breaks a rule because it's part begging for items and part useless post.

  • I got an i-phone for my b-day does anyone know how to do the tricks with it like make popcorn?
  • umm can someone help me in my homework?

This is considered a useless post as it has no relevance to Neopets what-so-ever.

I HOPE YOU HAVE FOUND THIS PAGE HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE!

    Special thanks to Anarinnomiko
for compiling all of this useful information,
    it is greatly appreciated!
