So you want to restock in the Igloo Garage Sale right? Of course you do. If you don't you can leave ;) Lets get some things straight: Mika is the blue Chia and Carassa is the yellow one. Mika and Carassa sell a large variety of items. You can sell some for a large profit and others you can sell for a very little one. I am going to tell you a PRETTY reliable way of picking the items that will make you some points. ;) When I say PRETTY I mean that it isn't always, but for the most part it is. :P

Ok, so you want to restock. More specifically you want to restock in the Igloo Garage Sale. If you don't, you're at the wrong place xD First you need to know the lingo which could almost be a language...almost. Now that I have you intimidated let's start with Pwn. Pwn was originally own. So people used to say I own you, or that owns, etc. Someone mispelled it, and it stuck. So, in conclusion, if somone says I pwn you, they are saying I own you and which means they are better than you. Hopefully no one ever says that to you =) Next, how about L33t Some people say they are l33t restockers. l33t means elite. When someone says I am a l33t restocker, they are saying they are a very good restocker and elite. The next few are sayings you will see on the spiffy RS Help and Chat topics on the Help Board. FTP means first to post. People say this when a new RS board is started. Some people say STP (second), TTP (third to post), etc. They usually don't go past fourth. Also just to clear things up, when people say RS they mean restock. Just a few quick ones: HTS: Hard to sell, ETS: Easy to sell. Now that you know a new language (Ok, not quite xD) it's time to learn how to restock in just three easy steps:
1) Have Garage Sale page in another window (NOT the one where it says click here, the one that says Click on the item you wish to buy! under the image of those two happy chias)
2) Refresh occasionally
3) When a restock occurs in the Garage Sale, pick an item as fast as you can and confirm you wish to buy it.

If you get the item it will say: "Thanks for buying this -insert adjective here- Item Name. Of course it doesn't say 'Item Name', it will say the item :3
If you didn't get the item it will say: "Sorry, we don't have any more of those left :(" I have both examples right here:

Ok the first thing you need to do is have some points out of the bank. You can't buy anything without points, can you? I usually withdraw anywhere from 500-5000 depending on how long I plan on restocking. Hopefully you make points as you restock and you don't have to keep going to the bank. Then you need to go to Happy Valley, then Terror Mountain. Click on the cute little igloo that has a sign that reads 'Garage Sale'. I know, it's tough to find but you'll get it ;) (I also added some steps on how to get to Terror Mountain cause I forgot those when I first made the page xD Sorry for the inconvenience!)

Here is a small list of what not to buy. The images are below.

1)Gross Food.
2)Small Restocks.
3)Remnants of a Restock.
4)Items under 100 points.

The first one is a very small restock (those happen ocasionally and can be annoying when waiting for a real restock). And obviously don't buy anything that looks like Gross Food. The second one is remnants from what WAS a good restock. Don't buy these items. And the third, is what happens when you try to buy more than one item per restock :(
*Tip* Don't buy an item under 100 points, they are usually junk items. ;)
Once you buy an item you cannot buy another again for another minute. I guess thats some cruel form of payback for not having to haggle for the items.

So now you've got an item. What do you do after you have the item?? Obviously you need to sell it!!
1)The first thing you do is click your neopoints in the top right-hand corner.

2) Then you click on the item you wish to sell.
3) Select the option 'Put into your Shop' from the drop-down menu and click Submit.

4) Then you need to find out how much to sell it for. Type the Item name in the spot next to where it says: What are you Looking for? I would also choose 'Identical to my Phrase' rather than 'Containing my Phrase' where it says Search Items. After you have done those two things click Search. Refresh the search results a few times to see what the average price of the item is. I would sell this Quetzal for about 4000 points :)

5) Go to your shop, enter how many points you want to sell the item for and click Update.

You are now on your way to making lots and lots of points!!! ^__^

FAQ's
  • Can I get Restocked Banned in the Garage Sale??
Yes you can. Thank you rockersjb for the correction!
  • What happens if you're restocked banned?
If you are banned, you can refresh as much as you like, but the shop will always be out of stock until you are unbanned which can take a few hours to a few days.
  • Why can't you buy as many items as you want in one restock at the Garage Sale??
Because the prices are so cheap and TNT wants to give other people a chance which is fair if you really think about it :)
  • Do MVP (Mysterious Valentines Cards) only restock in February?
No, they are available all year. In February, they restock in bulk but they are available all year (thanks muttlydog3!)Definitely save it until February though because the prices shoot up.

Just a few more things: the Igloo does not restock anything over rarity 89.
Once again, you can't buy more than one item per minute/restock.
During February you can occasionally buy a Mysterious Valentines Cards. (I'm not sure if you can buy them during the rest of the year, but even if I did I would wait until the prices skyrocket in February) The cards usually cost about 70 points and during Valentines can sell for up to 200k!!
