You gag as you enter the room. It's almost pitch-black, and when you try to find the door handle, it is lost in the darkness. You begin trying to find a light switch, breathing through your mouth and still grimacing.
A line of candles spurts into life, though your groping hands have found nothing. The candles alternate between red, black, and orange, with a tall candle in the center. The tall candle has stripes; red, yellow, and black.
You remember the old rhyme for identifying poisonous snakes; Red to yellow, kill a fellow...
There's a loud swooshing sound, and as you whip your head toward it, a new light appears. It's coming from a neon-green liquid, glowing in a once-covered cauldron.
Revealed by the light of the cauldron is a mutant Tonu.

This's Vlad. Saber decided one day I needed a petpet. She was gonna give me a Donksaur or somethin' stupid like that, but instead, she gave me this thing. Least Vlad doesn' run off tables.
Anyway, Vlad's been souped up with a couple dozen differnent potions. For strength, vision, even smarts. He ain't as brilliant as I am, of course, but he's one tough petpet.
I still can't get a potion to turn him into a Pwerko, though. Still looking for petpet laboratory.
