Intro
You stumble through the sandy hills, leaving your energy behind. Whose idea was it to go to the unknown of the Lost Desert anyway?? These were the consequences. You reach to the top of the hill but there was nothing there.Where can I go?? What do I do?? you think desperately. You turn around to see how far you have come...and see a lake! How..what..that wasn't there a minute ago!! you think. And it is huge....that must be a hallucination. But...it doesn't hurt to run over there and see if it's real does it?! you think and laugh with yourself, you must be going mad. You start running towards the lake, expecting it to disappear every second....you reach it.....and fall into it and you get all wet....You rise up and drink as much as you can, since you were really thirsty, but with amazement. How could I have missed that lake?? Suddenly you see a ghost Spardel. You eyes pop out with fear. Then the Spardel yapps and wags it's little tail. How cute. But if that wasn't enough...A peophin pops out of the water. It takes you a while to figure out what colour the peo is because it doesn't look like most peos. "Hi. you have to excuse my petpet, he likes to meet new people and believe me, we don't get often visitors" she says, you think that the peo is a female. Soft voice and female...ish. "I'm sorry, how rude of me not introducing. My name is Opalexcents, I prefer Opal though." she says and bows her head. Then she says "Welcome to my lake!" and as soon as she has said that trees come out of nowhere, birds and flies fly over your head and after a few seconds this place has transformed into a desert rainforest! "You like it?" Opal says and you just nod slowly. When you snap back to the moment you start chatting with her. When you have told her many things about yourself she offers to tell you her story.
My past
I had a wonderful childhood growing up in a quiet and comfortable reef. The only thing is, I didn't seem to tolerate salt water when I grew up into a teenager like my parents. I soon became sick, they didn't know what to do, my mother tried to heal me with her healing powers but it didn't work. So they were forced to move me into fresh water. That was a little difficult you see since I was getting big, almost an adult. So they asked a powerful uni... I think, they didn't tell me much about it to help us. That uni gave them a bottle with some goo which would give me wings for one day, and some side effects may occur but he said that there were low chances of that. So I gulped the potion down, eeew it tasted horrible. But I did grow wings C: They were wonderful, I had always envied my mothers wings. My father took a gulp of the potion too and he flew with me and my mother. We flew and flew looking for a lake big enough for a peo too live in but we didn't find anything I wanted. I felt sad as the sun went further and further down. Finally we reached the Lost Desert when the sun went down and I lost my wings. But my father didn't, they stayed on him. I felt sad but the most amazing thing was yet to happen. We saw a lake appear right before our eyes, a huge lake. We jumped right into it and swam happily around. Until another amazing thing happened to me, I suddenly gasped and fainted. I didn't regain consciousness until at dawn, I saw my parents' worried faces, but I looked at my body and saw that I had changed into a desert peo. Maybe this was a sign, I decided to stay there in that lake in the Lost Desert. My parents returned to the sea, my mother still visits but my father's wings lost their power so he can't fly anymore. I also gained a friend here, my little ghost Spardel C:
One day, not long after I found this beautiful and mysterious lake, I was swimming close to the shore. I could feel my feet touching the sand on the bottom, as the lake wasn't deep there, and I could feel the heat coming from the sun. Beautiful wonderful day it was. Until I heard a sound. I raised my head a little. I could see a little spardel right up on the hill howling and yelping. The poor thing, what was it doing out here all by itself? So I climped up on the shore and lied down, as peos can't really walk on land and called to the little spardel "Come here little one!" in hopes of it coming closer to the lake. It went scared and fell down, rolling in the hot sand. I felt bad, cause the sand was really hot at this part of the day. The little spardel rolled all the way down the hill but not far enough for me to take care of it. I crawled my way back to the lake and watched the petpet all day and all night. The poor thing! I thought constantly. Eventually I was too tired to be awake any longer and fell asleep on the shore. When I woke up I could see some glowingness in the corner of my eye. I raised my head and could see the spardel. But it was no longer...say...alife! It was now a ghost. It yapped and wagged it's tail. We have been friends ever since C:

Custom look: Body is light brown, mane and legs are dark brown. She has got gold footbands on both legs and a gold tailband. Her headplate is also bigger than on most peos and she has got a gold plate around her body and a big golden necklace like real desert queens. Brown eyes.
Size: A little smaller than most peophins, but she hasn't grown to an adult yet.
Age: 18 in human years.
Personality:
Opal is very calm, she has grown from a teenager to an adult, although she is still very young. She is more mature than other peos in her age and she takes great responsibility of the creatures around her lake along with her petpet. Unfortunetely she gets lonely because there are no other peos. If she wouldn't have her petpet, she would go crazy. So uhm...back to her personality. She is very kind and polite, although she sometimes acts out and when she is annoyd she lowers her head and glances with her eyes. You can always see what mood she is in by looking her in the eye and because she has so many looks. But don't you think that she is unmature, everybody has there moments when they are annoyed or angry. She is also not an adrinaline addict, she loves safety and at her lake she couldn't be more safe. She hates taking risks and decisions. All in all, she is a fine young peo with the whole life ahead of her.

She is my kind mother C: She is a winged christmas peophin and her heart is made of gold. She is kind and loving to everyone, even strangers. You should give her a visit sometime, you might see some family resemblance ^_^

He is my father. A strong and handsome stallion. No wonder my mother fell for him. He has got silver wings but they no longer work for him. I would be so sad. He is very mysterious and goes his own ways but he loves our family.
