Ever thought about trying your luck in the Battledome? If you have a Kau then maybe you should consider it. The Kau is the only pet which is partially resistant to all icon types._ Some pets are resistant to one type (by 20%+) but then they are weak against another icon type. That sounds like a double edged sword to me. One example of that is the Korbat. Korbats have 30% but they also have a 30% weakness against . However, Kaus are 10% resistant against almost all icon types and with no drawback. Sounds good to me!

Who can resist those curved horns, pudgy belly and swishy tail? Only someone without a heart could. You do have a heart, don't you?

Ever had problems with the grass on your Neogarden? It gets overgrown, tangled with weeds and is an eyesore. The only gardens that don't have this problem belong to Kau loving homes. Don't send a Gnorbu or Uni to do a Kau's job!

On the 26th of July in Y2, the pet Macy Gray was changed into what we now know as the Kau for legal reasons. Turning a humanoid pet (of which there have only been two) into an animal commonly named in an insulting manner... someone in TNT's office must have been giggling at the thought.
