These clouds we're seeing...they're explosions in the sky

In a different time, at a different place...long ago when the lands were ruled evil and a terrifying darkness was shadowing the pleasant areas of Neopia. In this time a cub was born of a tender nature and varying blue shades. She bore upon her back two small white wings made by the spirits of the clouds. On this fateful day the cub fell to earth from her birth place, from sky to earth, from light to shadow. Everywhere she settled her kitten paws light erupted from beneath her. In her childish innocence she wandered, the people called her a saviour, the demons called her a beast and the shadows fled from her presence.

Soon the whole land was rid of darkness, the shadows were forced to flee below ground or fight and therefore die. At such a young age she knew not what was happening, but she knew it was good as people smiled at her and the children ran forward to pet her soft fur whispering words of gratitude in her ears. They asked for her name and she did not know what to give, so in the end they called her Odeliae, in memory of a Faerie long forgotten that had protected the area with her life, only then to be over-come by an evil not forseen to her. So from that day on she was Odeliae, Guardian Angel of Forgotten Lands.

		The Story of How she came to Faith

Toy Box Ah look at the cuteness...		-a small blue spotted kitten runs up to you, her white feathery wings glinting in the sunlight as they ruffled behind her.- You smile at her as she bumps into your legs muttering something about hide and seek. She looks up at you and smiles, light and happiness shining through her furry features. Heya! What's your name? guest:...uh..guest, Are you Odeliae? Why yes! Why do you seek me? guest: I heard of a legend and came to see if it was true. Well of course it is! Yet I still don't understand it much, I remember like it was yesterday, the pain and terror...but I healed it! guest: Healed it? I have the ability to heal. look! -she takes your hand and makes a small scratch with a white nail. Then she covers it with her paw, you feel an incredible warmth spread through you and your hand glows slightly. Once she takes her paw away the cut is gone.- guest: Then the legend is true! So why are you not living in yourplace among the heavens? Because I chose to stay. I can always fly back if I feel homsick, but there is something stronger holding me here. guest: And what's that? Love. Once the lands had healed and evil and despair banished to the darker depths of the worl, Odeliae flew back to her place on Cloud Nine. There she stayed happy for a few months or years...time went fast in the upper realms. She spent time playing with the butterflies, talking with the cloud spirits and watching over the lands. She loved her white fluffy cloud that was dappled with pink when the sun began to set. She loved lying back onto its pillowy surface to gaze at the millions of specks of stars, light years away. One night as she leisured in this activity a message was sent to her. A shooting star shot across the sky and painted a message in stardust. Help Us The message was from a mortal girl and Odeliae went immediately, her wings stretched out to their full extent stroking the night sky. She loved the feel of the wind diving and dancing in her fur as she plunged towards the earth. Once near-by she saw a forlorn looking girl, tears streaked her oval face and reddened her almond eyes. Hope flickered through her eyes as she saw Odeliae alight on the ground next to her. With trembling fingers she lifteda quivering Island Gelertess. The girl held her tenderly and stroked the fur drenched with sweat. Odeliae held her paws a centimetre or so away from the gelerts body and breathed in, before sighing. With her sigh, a glow of golden light emitted from her paws and surrounded the gelertess. In an instant it was over and the gelertess now lay happily in her owner's arms. Thank-you! Thank-you" The female said. What are your names? My name is Faith and hers," she said looking fondly at the gelertess as her ears flicked gently in her sleep, "is Gigi. Again Odeliae was thanked and she returned to her cloud, once there she could not forget the way that the love had binded the pair. How love took control over alll their emotions, it was something she too wanted to share. So she flew back to earth and knocked sheepishly on Faith's door. She heard the soft footfalls as Faith lef the living room to answer the door. The door opened and a gust of warm air enveloped Odeliae's tired body. My Petpet This is Annie, the dearest thing to me in the entire world. She is named after one of my mother's closest friends. Annie, we both miss you so much. Let's still keep in touch.
