My story...

Like in a healthy beehive everyone works together. They run around taking care of their jobs and doing their part to HELP the community they live in. But what if one group of bees suddenly decides to do something differently? Well, the whole thing would fall apart, wouldn't it?

."Sorry..." he whispered softly. Then he pounced, stabbing the creature in the spine with one sythe, and slicing its neck with the other. The creature fell instantly. "Haha, nice one Oarakai!" One of his hunting buddies jumped from the tree landing next to him. "I've been trying to catch that one for a week, and you got it on the first try!" Four more hunters fell from their spots and congratulated Oarakai. Their scythes all glistened red with blood in light the trees let in. "Thanks guys." He smiled, "But you know I don't like to be rewarded for killing.
One buddy laughed. "If it weren't for you the whole clan would starve!"
Another nodded his head in agreement.
."It's not like Chief is any good at providing food, he's useless with out his drones." Said another.
Oarakai looked shocked at this display of disrespect for their leader. "The Chief is doing his job quite well in my opinion."
The others stopped and looked at him funny. Then they all picked up their kills and headed back to the clan.

When they arrived back they were welcomed back with berries and water from the young maidens, all giggling and flirting with the much older hunters. It made Oarakai sick. So when the more mature Xweetoks came to get the meat, he slipped off to help them. After helping them skin and slice the meat he wandered off to find his best friend.

He didn't have to look for very long, he knew all of her hiding places, plus he knew her scent by heart. He got up to the peak. This was the place that the clan was named after, Sunpeak Canyon. The light always glistened off the rocks no matter what time of day, and the peak was so high up when you looked over the edge all you could see was more sunlight. It was like the world just ended and the sun continued forever. But she wasn't there, which was strange because her scent was everywhere. He laid down on a large rock that was warmed by the sunlight and sat breathing and listening for her. He glanced over at a tree that he carved a heart in. He loved her, and she loved him, but no one knew...

An hour passed, and he had fallen asleep...The whole time she had been simply hiding up in a tree. She lightly jumped from branch to branch and softly touched the ground. She carefully made her way over to him, eighteen years and she had been unable to successfully sneak up on him. But today she did it! But he looked so peaceful lying there, she didn't want to wake him...Instead she laid down next to him, and curled against his warm sides.
SUSANNE!!!" Oarakai yelled suddenly, frightening her and making her scream.
YOU JERK! You scared me half to death!" She yelled hitting Oarakai.
He laughed holding his sides, "That's what you get for trying to sneak up on me.
She swished her tail angrily and started walking away. He smiled. "Oh come back here, it was just a joke. You're fine.
Susanne ignored him. So he pounced on her, pulling her into his chest with his scythes. "Aaawh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you that badly. It was supposed to be harmless." Then he pushed her down onto the rock he was laying on before, and curled around her, nuzzling his face in her soft fur.
Susanne purred happily. "Do you feel the baby kicking?".
Oarakai purred as well and nodded his head.

CRACK

Oarakai's ears perked up and he awoke, startled he poked Susanne with a sythe. "Ow" She whimppered and awoke as well. It was dark, probably past two in the morning. Their eyes took a second to ajust to the light, but it wasn't from the sun. "Oarakai, what is that?" Susanne hid behind him looking over at the light that was down the mountain. "It looks like...a fire?" He stood up and when he did he heard another crack in the distance. Someone was coming up the mountain. "Susanne I want you to go down the other side of the peak...
She looked at him stupidly, "But..It's...There isn't a way down!" He spun and pointed out a small, small ledge that she could climb down. "Go that way." he instructed "And don't make a sound unless I come back to get you. If I'm not back in an hour, find a way down the mountain and get out of here." Then he took off down the mountain as she tried her best to get down the ledge.

He was panting hard, his mind raced with bad posibilites. He wasn't paying attention to where he was running, and he crashed into someone. It was one of his hunting buddies...but he was soaked in blood. His teeth stained red, his bronze sythes coated and glistning, his claws were out and digging at the earth. "What happened?" Oarakai asked. But his friend just laughed, and laughed, and laughed. Oarakai felt a terrible knot form in his stomach and left his friend laughing in the dark.
He arrived at the edge of the village and heard young cubs crying for their moms, husbands and wives searching for eachother, all covered in blood and dirt. And the other hunters....were clean. Completely spotless. Oarakai rushed to help them regain controll of the clan, but they made a barracaide so he couldn't get in.
They all growled and bared their fangs, even some of the male villagers did the same. "Whats wrong with you guys?" Oarakai asked paniced. "What is happening?!". Then someone came behind Oarakai and hit him on the head with a blunt object, and he fell.

Oarakai moaned as he tried to stumble up, his mind raceing with questions What happened? Where am I? Where is Susanne? Why is my head bleeding?! Feeling his scalp he felt a large bumb with a large cut as well. Looking around he didn't recognize anything. The flames were gone, even every familiar forest tree was gone. He was in a large green field, he didn't know which say to go. Plus the sun was setting so he figured he had been out for hours....

But he couldn't remember anything about how he got there. He didn't have any familiar smells to follow...He was alone

All alone...
So he started walking...
Sorry, it's kind of a lame story right now. But I'm not the greatest story teller.

Goodbye...
