Introduce yourself! Don't be afraid to dive into the conversation - we're as friendly as, um, something that's friendly! And please put your name in your NeoSignature, as it makes getting acquainted with one another so much easier. :)
Post your birthday on the Guild Calendar! You'll get tons of birthday wishes and maybe a little gift. :D
Enable Guild Mailings! Just hop over to your
Preferences and make sure the "Enable Guild Mailings" box is checked! ;P We don't send guild mail too often, but it's always good to be in the loop with the latest news and surprises. :)
Keep our boards clean and literate.
We pride ourselves on our literacy and take it quite seriously! Please use correct punctuation, capitalization, and spelling. Keep one-word posts to a minimum, and refrain from posting more than three messages in a row. Simple! :D
Literacy is like baseball - three strikes and you're out.Begging or scamming is not tolerated.
The guild board is not the place to advertise shops/trades or ask for handouts. Attempting to scam our members in any way, shape or form will be dealt with very harshly.

NSC is a family; each and every one of us is accepted and respected. Therefore, making anyone feel uncomfortable is taken VERY seriously. If you have any issue, please feel free to bring it to a council member, and we'll try our best to see both sides of the situation!

What's the guild account for?
The website, application page, and other pages are stored on the
guild account. Official warnings, suspension notices, and other notifications will be sent from this account. The guild account is not shared.
What are guild meetings?
These are gatherings of members and council at a designated time and date. We all get together and share our opinions on any important guild issues - we're usually quite a productive group! ;D If you can't make it, don't worry! We always keep the minutes of guild meetings for future reference. ^^
Can I submit a guild layout?
Of course, we deeply appreciate that! :D We rotate guild layouts every two weeks. Just make sure your layout is neo-related, contains the guild name, and allows space for the navigation menu. Full-paged layouts are fine. Zip them over to
Misa or
Sanctuary! Please keep in mind that not all layouts are accepted. :3
How do I earn a council position?
Since we're a laidback guild that's based more on chatting and events than anything too complicated, we probably won't be delegating any leader positions. However, openings for responsibility and such might emerge in the future - feel free to tell us your opinions and ideas, because we're always looking for new opportunities. :)

My main job is to sit around and look good. ;D But sometimes I'm forced to write the content you see on the website, app page, etc., and even come up with ideas. Come to think of it, I pretty much do all the work while being awesome at the same time. Misa just sits around all day criticizing my painstaking efforts. Anyway, I love NSC with all my heart. Talk to me! :) I'm quite friendly, as the voices in my head have told me.

I do most of the hard work for NSC - creating graphics, coding pages, and coming up with ideas and such. Although these things take a lot of time and effort, I take pride in what I do for NSC. So you can imagine how frustrating Sanct is, telling me to change this and that and tangling up my code. But I guess we
have to keep her. Anyway, I love co-owning NSC, and I would never think of leaving it - EVER! I love to talk, so go ahead and send a neomail or just chat with me on the boards. (:
A tale of hope and friendship
when all else looked lost.
So, you've chatted up the members, annoyed/drooled over the leaders, made new friends, and admired every facet of the website and application page (we know, they're gorgeous and beautifully written). What now?
THEMED EVENTS. YOU HEARD RIGHT.
Once in a while, NSC will hold some
spectacular guildly events, replete with more crazy ideas, board activities, and strangeness than you've ever seen. These events could be pretty much anything - themed weeks, charity events, plans for world domination. Our heads would explode if we tried really hard to think of all the possibilities.
These events are awesome opportunities to get to know your fellow members even better, as well as participate in crazy activities and just have a blast! One of the best parts is that themed events thrive with
your help - so if your brain is buzzing with creative ideas or if you'd like to be able to take a larger role in the guild, events are a great place to shine! :D
More information on these events will come. We'd love to make these as fantastic as possible, so we'll probably host some guild meetings to discuss! We're
always open to your ideas and suggestions, so let us know what's going on in your mind. :)
The message boards are a happenin' place, so let's spice them up even more with these board activities! ;D

Mafia involves creative (and hilarious) storytelling, suspense and mystery, and enough betrayal to make it good. ;D (Don't worry, we love each other too much to let that affect us. Maybe.) 20 Questions -

A classic game! One person will choose an object for the others to guess. Divide 20 questions by the amount of people playing; for example, 4 players would each ask 5 questions. Choose an order, ask away, and start guessing! :) (Feel free to add variants -- e.g. guessing people, etc.)
Randomosity
This is a totally random activity in which you post the first thing that comes to your mind. For example:
Member 1: "What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word.... pwn?
Member 2: "NOVA SPONGE CAKES!!
And you take turns doing this. It gets pretty insane as people lose their minds, so it's bound to be an interesting experience. :D
The NSC Alphabet
This is an activity where you can show how much you love NSC. All you have to do is say a word related to NSC for each letter of the alphabet and keep taking turns. Here's an example:
Member 1: "A - August 1st (the first day NSC
ever went public)!
Member 2: "B - Board activities!
Member 3: "C - CAN'T GET ANY BETTER!
We even included the alphabet in case you forgot.

Of course, you may want to designate an order, or things might get confusing (unless you like chaos. If so, do what you like!). This game is best played with 2-3 people, unless, again, you like disorganization.
Variation: Choose different topics. For example, instead of NSC, choose "the names of NSC members," "Movie Titles," "Things you wouldn't want to touch," ... the list is endless.
Food Fight!
Self-explanatory. Choose a theme - gross foods, purple foods, foods that remind you of your pet kitty, etc. - and FIRE AWAY! Designate a start and end time if you wish, or donate the leftovers to charity, or send subliminal messages with the foods you choose (Jhudora Rotten Negg, anyone? …we kid.). The possibilities for game variants are endless! ;D
