Oh the treasure!
Inside are displayed thousands and thousands of art, antiques and masterpieces – pictures, paintings, books and music records.
. . . . . Where did they get this stuff? you wonder. Suddenly a dark figure jumps in front of you, holding a lantern. It appears to be a bony creature in a black cloak, and hands you an old, heavy key before going right past you. You don't even manage to blink before the creature disappears in the cold stone steps and wonder what was that all about.
You continue your way towards a wall of paintings.
Breath taking…
. . . . . Wonder what an amazing artist has made it?'' you ask just to realize there is no one in the hall besides you. The thought of being alone in a chilly basement creeps you out, and you gulp.
All alone in this place… it can't be good…
Your mind starts playing pranks on you and you begin to hear sounds… sounds of heavy steps coming towards you… monsters lurking around… It all starts to spin in a mass of colours, and you freeze when a cold hand grabs your shoulder.
You close your eyes and shriek. Get away from me!!! But the hand forces you to turn to look at its owner.
."guest!" it shouts.
You look through a corner of your eye and see something purple… A neopet?
Indeed! A Darigan Kougra stands there and looks at you strangely.
Terribly sorry, master sent me down after a key she gave you.'' he finally spoke.

. . . . . You're still in shock, so, unable to speak, just nod and reach for the key in your pocket.
Oh no! It's not there! Where is it?! Have you lost it?
You calm down. Maybe I just put it in my other pocket...
And yes! There it is. You breath out in relieve and hand it to the Kougra.

Sarah's story about the little Board:

Once upon a time there was a board...
And the little board had a name...
It was HQ.
Now, little HQ never asked for much. A home, people who loved him, and food. How boards eat is a very complicated process. I'd explain it to you, but it would BOGGLE. YOUR. MIND. ... Back to the story.
Little HQ was a happy board. When the Altador Cup around he was busy with exploding a reappearing. All this work made him very tired. But he was happy.
But like all things good, they must come to an end...
... After the Altador Cup ended, the once busy HQ was left empty. There were no more enthusiastic people discussing strategies. No more +12's to fill his being. He'd see people come over every once and a while, but only to leave comments like "where iz evr1?" or "BUMP".
And HQ hadn't seen the ends of his worries yet...
One day, out of the darkness of empty boards, appeared something awful.
A board monster.
Nobody really has any SURE idea what this 'monster' looks like. Some have sighted it as a giant meepit. Some have sad it's more of a looming shadow, ever growing. Others have passed out at the mere presence of it. The little board was terrified! He couldn't fight a board monster all by himself! But, he knew what he could do. He had friends from the Altador Cup! Surely they'd come to help. He called out for their assistance... ...But nobody came.
Without any help from his friends... the little board stood no chance. One by one, the board monster knocked away at HQ's pages. Sending them into the board time paradox. Pages go in, but they don't come out. This kind of beating lasted for MONTHS. The little board had lost all hope for ever seeing his friends from the Altador Cup. Because, even if they didn't show up, the board loved them.
One day, after the board monster wiped out his pages... something occurred to HQ! Something new and exciting! ... "If my old friends don't show up, then I'll make some new friends! My old friend will be so happy if they come back to meet new people!" The little board said in glee.
HQ knew it wouldn't be easy, but at all costs he would have to explode himself again. It was only a matter of time... ...Until the new members would arrive.
And so the board waited patiently. He waited for the day he would change his title to 'Accepting New Members!' In fact, he's still waiting. COMMON. Why are you just sitting there staring at your computer screen!? Didn't that just pull your dang heartstrings!? Post something!

Mal- So do you guys think there'll be any changes to the team? Like the players, tactics?

Layton Vickles- No. We're happy with our current team... But we're not happy about our current form. Probably a little more training should get us the cup.

Mal- Is it possible that dark horses might dominate in this year's cup? After all, teams like Meridell and Mystery Island have been pulling off huge Altador Cup upsets the last year and they just might get better.

*Silence*

Reshar Collifey- Nah, it'll take a lot of effort for them to win and it's not just DC here. We're talking Roo Island, Krawk Island and Shenkuu as well...
Tandrak Shaye- What?
Kep Bonnefie- Uh... who's talking Roo Island, Krawk Island and Shenkuu? Neopians talk about them because Darigan did not win last year. But we'll win this year round and make sure those neopians have nothing to say about Roo Island, Krawk Isla...

Mal- So, Krawk Island are aiming to win the cup this year. Do you think you can stop them, given the kind of results you guys produced last season?

*Silence*

Kep Bonnefie- Well, last season was a serious upset. We hope to do better this year round, but KI are in top form too, losing narrowly to the current champions RI in the finals last year.
Tormo Frein- It's gonna be hard, trust me. But we'll work our hearts out for Darigan. KI and RI can laugh all they want, but we'll get the coveted prize.
Kep Bonnefie- Yes, we'll be defending real hard.

Mal- Now, there's been some coontroversy in the match last year against Merridell. Apparently, the winning goal may not have crossed the line. Reshar, could you please tell me and all the other DC supporters watching this how you feel?

Reshar Collifey- Yeah... So the mutant yooyu was flying towards the goal. Yep, I caught it but the o' impact sent Reshar against the pole. Got that?
Then, I dropped the yooyu. So, the striker was head on goal. Scoops up yooyu then throws it. Hit the pole, I reached for it it but the old friend was after it too. Then... I was pushed, with the yooyu, back. I had my eyes shut so I couldn't see what happened. I opened my eyes only when the crowd started cheering... But it was the Merridell side cheerring.
I looked and saw I was on the line.
The yooyu was in my hands but it was in front of the line. Tormo was telling the referee about the 'ghost goal' but of course nothing happened.
I still feel a bit disappointed that the AC commitee did nothing about the incident. If it wasn't for that, we would've been 4th... But some things are like that. I'll do better this year.

Mal- Thank you. Uh... Vickles, you've been quite shot last season. It is amazing that you don't have legs but yet you can still move as fast, if not, faster.

Layton Vickles- I scored quite a number of goals, yes. But it wasn't enough to help Darigan win.
