A silvery shape shimmers before your watery vision a split second before you break the surface of the water, desperately gasping for air.

Blinking your eyes and looking around confusedly, you tread water and look down into the depths. Below you, you can see a shadow of a figure, barely visible. You are tempted to investigate, but your last dive took you too far, and you almost ran out of breath before reaching air. Despite the risk, your innate curiosity overcomes you, and you dive beneath the glittering surface once more.

At first glance, nothing seems to be anywhere near you. Yet, when you twist around in the water to look behind you, thinking you saw a flash of white in the corner of your eye, you spot the creature who had surprised you before. It is a beautiful, snow white Peophin, who watches you shyly with large, inquisitive eyes.

You need air once again, however, and you propel yourself towards the surface, breathing in air with relief. Turning, you see that the Peophin has also made its way to the surface, and is still staring at you with those luminous eyes.

I tend to be very shy towards strangers, but you seemed to be in trouble, and I thought you could use some help...

While you catch your breath, perhaps I could talk to you, for just a few minutes? Yes? Thank you. I don't talk to Neopians much, I'm afraid, apart from my owner's other pets.

My mate's name is Soulcaptive; he is a blue Peophin who resides somewhere on the coast of Mystery Island. As for my other comrades... their names are Synchestra and NearDark. I rarely see NearDark, however... he is a strange Uni, with strange tendencies, albeit I share his preference to be alone.

As for my home... I don't have a particular home... I simply rest here and there... mostly hanging around remote sections of the seas of Neopia.

Hmm... you seem refreshed, now, and I grow weary of the sound of my own voice. Good luck, whereever you are heading. Perhaps I will see you again, someday.

With a small smile, the white Peophin plunges swiftly beneath the waves, and you watch her disappear into the glittering depths.
