What Will He Become?

Hello, I'm Kouji, and I would love to become the owner of your Gelert, Detox. I have the perfect plot set out for him, so let's start off with what he will become. If I am to adopt Detox, the first thing that will happen is that he will be painted Rainbow. Well, maybe not the first thing, as I don't exactly have the brush yet, heh. But yes, he will be painted. He will roleplayed, he will have a petpage, he will have a petlookup, and most of all, he will have a design.

Detox has the ability to change the colour of his fur, which is why some people call him "Roy G. Biv". It has nothing to do with his emotions, just what colour he feels like being that day. His base colour is white, when he isn't changing. The only colour that he cannot become is black. Black is not a colour, it is no colour, just as white is every colour in one(even though if you mixed all the colours you'd get like.. a disgusting brown or something XD).
He won't be roleplayed in a guild unless I can find a rave guild. I'm making one, no one will join. Detox will be going to this account. I'm not in a guild there, so the option is open. He will have one on one roleplays, though, and I have a few pets that he may also befriend. I didn't feel any need for his petpet or any petpet at all, for I thought that maybe he wouldn't have time for a petpet with his lifestyle. Then I was thinking the other day, "Lawl, what if he had a plushie? And everyone picked at him for it, but he liiikes it. He wears it around his neck, yeah." Then I started drawing it and I thought, "Heyy.. it's HUGGING him.. and he has a HUGGY" soo, I'm going to paint his huggy(if he comes with it) plushie. He probably won't ever actaully have a girlfriend, he's too much of a swinger, but I've still included a "love" section.

Why This Design?

So now that you know who he will become, let's find out a little more about why he is this way. A while back I was looking at a picture of a chameleon-like Draik that changed colours, and I though, 'Hey, it's be neat if I did something like this.' So I started going over designs in my head and thought of a wolf-type animal that could change, and his base colour would be white when he wasn't flashing. Then all of his little accessories came to me. This was about a year ago, and I never really turned him into a Neopet or gave him a name, I just liked to draw him from time to time. Then I saw Detox and flipped out over his name and thought he would be perfect for my character design! Now, don't go thinking 'Oh, great, another one of those freaky, super skinny, long-legged wolf things with devious personalities. Here we go again with the lack of creativity' BUT! Detox isn't like that, he's skinny and hollow-eyed for a reason. He's a junkie! XD He's tried just about everything, and it's affected him, but he's immune to getting addicted or dying from anything. I'm not sure yet if I want this to have anything to do with his colour changing, but I'm considering that just being natural. His eyes are blank and completely white- no pupil or iris. This isn't just to go along with his physique, it has to do with his substance problem. He's done so much that his eyes have permanently glazed over and lost all colour(though he can still see just fine). But sometimes when he's really messed up, his look like this:

Skills: Dancing, fence jumping, consuming ludicrous amounts of substances, and smooth talking his way out of a situation.
Faults: Easily influenced over just about everything, sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, partying too hard.
Hobbies: Raving, sleeping, living down his name(if you know what I mean), flirting with the scene girls, and creating his own style of free lance techno.
Status: Single

Personality: Detox is a rave munch, as I say. He got turned on to it when he was sixteen and never misses one beat of the action. He's been to every party that's ever existed and is a V.I.P. at every club in Neopia. He's very fun, and not a "bad guy", he just does bad things. Sure he likes the ladies, but they usually don't mind his talk since everyone knows him, and everyone knows he'd never hurt a fly. He never really calms down, he always seems to be up and running(at least when he's awake), and he's always happy and excited. And he's definitely a night owl.

These are the Neopets that will become Detox's companions. There will probably be more in the future, but these ones I have already set up with the owners. His roleplay will be limited, though. Only pets that would live in the city. What would Tox be doing in a forest or on an island? =3

Niephel

This is Niephel, my one and only Yurble. I chose him to hang with Detox mainly because.. I've never actually done anything with him. I gave him a design and personality, he's an anthro with a sort of.. emo-ish style, but I never roleplayed him or drew him that often. Then when Detox came along, I though Nieph looked as though he'd be his type of crowd. So I stuck him into Tox's life. He's pretty laid back, easy going, but doesn't party as hard as Detox. I thought for a moment why Tox might be with an anthro Neopet, but then I also thought that there are many pets quad and anthro and detox can interact with them both. His plot doesn't take place in the real world, it's in Neopia, so it can work out.

Okkamo

Ohh, my favourite. This Okkamo, a Kougra owned by my good friend Buko. She is a little like Nieph, Buko didn't know what to do with her and she was never roleplayed, but still given design and personality. Oka is considered "scene", and Detox just can't get enough of her. Buko and I have already planned out they're meeting. He came across her on the streets with his friends and thought she was amusing, then they just kept running into each other. Now everytime he sees her he makes comments about how cute she is or that she's his girl when really he just loves to mess. She hates it, but she can't get rid of him, and then he started to follow her eveywhere, and she just deals with it. So yeah, she's probably the closest thing he'll ever have to "girlfriend".

Auxusu

Yet another lost pet. Auxusu is Minny's Wocky. Minny asked me around December to help her think of a design for Xusu. She had a basic idea of what she wanted, but she wasn't good with these things and wanted me to put it together. About Monday(April 27), I started to work on it because I had tried a few times but it didn't look good(I procrastinated). I was sitting in the gym at school and my friend Vivee actually help with Xusu's accessories. Then I thought 'HEY! She could be a rave munch, and I'll ask Minny if she can roll with Detox!' So I did, and Minny said "OF COURSE!" We don't exactly know how they've met, but we'll work it out in the roleplay. We've got so far that she has a little crush on Tox, but would never tells him and just loves him as her best friend. Minny plans to paint her strawberry(my idea =3)

Sumella_

Yeaahh, she's a little rave chickie! ^^ Mel is an Aisha owned by Sohpie. I was looking for ravers, and she said she was creating a new pet that liked to rave. So this is her =3 Wetalked it over that she's going to be the one that got Detox into the party life, and she's been his friend since he was a boy. She's fun-loving and Detox thinks of her as a sister, even though they're nothing alike. She's an anthro Aisha, he's a quad Gelert, but with Detox it won't matter. I'll roleplay him with anyone as long as they show up where he does =3 Sophie plans to paint Sumella rainbow just as I plan to do with Detox. Aren't we like twins? :3

About Kouji

Wellll, let's know a little more about Detox's potential new owner. My name is Kouji, that's koh-jee. Yes, it's odd, but I thank my best friend for handing me the name, and I gave him his. I don't have much of a life outside of Neopets, so there's no need to explain that. I'm just a high school student and I have 10 pets, that's all, so let's talk about my Neopian life. I come here strictly for my plots. I am an artist and a writer, which means role-playing is a must-do for me. My current role-plays are my guild(which doesn't have a name), "Trilage"- an air pirate role-play between four of my friends and I, my Lupe, JackelHorn is in a one-on-one, and an ongoing plot between two of my other friends- too complicated to explain in detail. I have other pets that aren't in role-plays but have stories and characters, then I have about 6 that DON'T get roleplayed. I call these my "favpets", which serve as my little posse in all the comics I draw. Although, four of them have been frozen, I must admit. It was due to some apparent "vulgar language" that I never used. B( I'm recreating those pets, though, with slightly altered names that I've already found not used.
I have many pets that I plan on painting, just about all of them. unfortunately all the brushes I require are in the millions, so it'll be a while. I'm close to a silver one, though, for my Lupe Cerberumon. I'm very lazy about earning neopoints, since I'm usually only here for the plots and characters and not the games and events, though I do enter the BC every once in a while. =3 I visit the machines and wheels and shrines everyday to see what I can get. So far the rarest thing has been a baggus… lame. I have a deviantart, if you'd like to check that out for more examples of my arts. Though I must warn you, most of it is old and I've gotten better since:

Tsunibo

She was my first Gelert. She's a bit of a loner, but she's had a hard life. Her first design and story was pointless and it didn't explain anything, but I've recently redone her and it's much better. Her mother was a fire Gel and her father a Maraquan. There is a picture of her on her lookup of what she used to look like, and it's so simple I felt that anyone could have done it and there was no personality, so on her petpage there is her new design. It's basically the same, but now she has actual fire instead of just a fur pattern. Also with this new design came a new perspective. It's a little ironic- she's got the ability to be an excellent swimmer even breathe and live under water, yet she can't touch it. If her flames go out, she dies. I'm not sure what happened, but I'd like there to be something in which someone she was close to was drowning but she couldn't help and that has something to due with her non-emotional state but… I'm still working it out.

Koljak

My second Gelert, and on one of my lost accounts. He is Tsunibo's brother, and has also recently undergone a change in design and history. He came about when I was drawing a picture for my teacher and I coloured it and thought "Hmm, he looks a little like Tsunibo" and you can guess what happened next, hah. The only difference is that he's brown. I thought maybe at first he was just different or something, but now I've created a real reason. Every time there is a male born in Tsunibo's mother's family, he is brown, but still has the features of the father. So Koljak doesn't have any kind of flame to him, just the Maraquan side. He's fourteen and Tsu is 20. Koljak and Tsunibo lost their parents(somehow XD) and now they're just wandering trying to make it through life.

EeshaAlexis

There isn't really much to say about his guy. Eesh came from a friend who no longer wanted him. She thought he was a girl because the pound has a glitch, but then when everything got converted she realized that he was all masculine looking and didn't have many ideas for him. She had him up for adoption but didn't get any good apps. I told her I'd think of something for him. And now I have! But only just recently XD His design came from a blanket that my sister has, pretty original, huh? You know, he's my only Gelert that doesn't have hair! XD He doesn't have much of a story, I think I'll wait until he gets a roleplay or two and then write his life out. As for personality he's pretty up-beat and optimistic.

Neopal
Hooray for intricate plot schemes, yayyy!!! 8D He's my only anthro canine-type. He is also my active roleplay right now! Of course if I get Detox he'll be right along side Neo! ^^ Ne was adopted from the pound because his name sounded cute. Though, I didn't want it to sound like he's some sort of "neopet pal" so I changed the pronunciation a bit. Neopal is the pilot of a great pirate airship. He has a foster sister named Tanea(on the same account as Koljak) who is also one of these pirates, along with many friends. The role-play is between myself and four of my friends, and will never be open to anyone else. We think there's enough little crew members already. I'm not sure if I want to paint Neo brown or leave him yellow, but either way he'll be have yellow-brown fur! XD

Why Do I Want Detox?

Now for a very questionable question: Why does Kouji want Detox specifically and not just wait until she finds a UFA rainbow Gelert or make on herself? Well, you see Detox is special. First off lets think of what it means to "detox". Webster's Dictionary defines "detox" as: detoxification; to make rid of toxins.(well, technically I just put it into my own words because the real definition was too long but.. whatever!) Now think of the personality I have created for your Gelert Detox. Do you notice that it's perfect irony? That's why name people call him "Tox" because he is as far from Detox'd as can possibly be! XD So basically yeah, I guess you could say I want Detox for his name, but not only that. If hadn' had this amazing character, I could have cared less that Detox was up for adoption. I would have thought "Oh, lucky person gets that- moving on with my life" but I saw him and I completely flipped out over his name. I IMEDIATELY thought of my rainbow raver character and knew that he had to be Detox. I don't know why anyone else wants him, but this is my reason and I hope it satisfies.

Why Should I Own Detox?

Here is an even more puzzling question: Why should you choose Kouji as Detox's new owner? I'm sure you've recieved many applicaions for all of your pets, for hey are pretty well named, and you must be having a very ough ime deciding. I know my application probably doesn't have the best layout or coding or artwork, but you can have the best HTML skills in the world and that won't mean you can be creative enough to provide the character. I think I have done just that. Besides, I have already set up so many roleplays, even started a guild that completely revolves around Detox and you wouldn't want to let so many people down, would you? I have no idea wha my competition is like(and I can only hope that it's low) but I hope that I at least have a very good chance at owning Detox. I don't think I can really tell you just how much I really want him. I'm not going to write a poem, Detox just isn't that kind of guy, but I do have many comics I have written. In fact, Detox will have his own deviantART comic. It is call "The Curb" and I have already written five comics. It's not like a plot comic, just a funny little pages of Detox and his friends hanging out at their usual spot, which is, you guessed it, The Curb! Detox will be in every one and Niephel will be in most(since he is MY Neopet) and then every once in a while I'll have his other friends come along. So in conclusion, I believe I should own Detox because I am the most dedicated to the fellow. I'll do anything for him. Just ask me. No really. Ask. I'll seriously do something for you. You asked me to apply, and I've done that. Anything else? :3
