Once morn has come once again, the young pup, safe and sound, woke up a tongue running through his fur. Whimpering slightly, he shifted until his eyes opened to a brute holding him and cleaning him off. Feeling the pup shift, the young brute froze slightly, yet his gaze softened, "hello there young one," he said warmly and licked the pups muzzle. Giving a weak smile as the tongue ran through his muzzle and eyes, the pup reached out his paws and clamped them on the brutes muzzle. Laughing softly, the brute smiled warmly, "yes, thats right, your safe now....Little one," he said. Glancing around outside, he sighed softly, "where could your parents be?" His voice was flooding with worry. Did this pup have no one?

Standing up, the brute looked over the pup before walking outside to look for his parents, or even something that smelt like other wolves were around. He looked for about ten minutes, going over everything where he had found the pup, but finally gave up. "Who knows how far the wind brought him....I have no place to even start...No leads..." He sighed weakly, but froze when he felt something push on his tail. And again...And again. "What? What is???" He turned quickly, making the pup fall. Whimpering from fear, he quickly backed away. "Oh no no, its okay, its okay," he said softly and nuzzled the pup before grabbing his scruff and walking back to the den. "You need a mother....I cant feed you..." He said, yet he chuckled when the pup bounced right back to his paws.
