â� Its cold..
It was raining outside, the cold rain pelted the ground as if there was no tomarrow. The only shelter was a cave, a massive cave at the very top of a steep hill, like a haunted house with lightning in the background. Yet the rain downpoored heavily, you have no other choice but to take the nearest shelter, which was unfortunatly, that unwelcoming cave.
Knowing there is no other way to escape the harsh rain and lighting, you run towards the cave without hesition. You quickly move though the forest, stepping over thorns and other pointy vegitation. The Cave. It was near... You run quicker though the thick forest to reach that cave just at the top of the steep hill. Large rocks and boulders potruted out of the earth, slowly making your way out of the forest, only to stop at the beginning of the tall hill.
You grip the hard rock that stuck out of the ground, the hill was.. well, steep. Soon 5 minutes turned into a half an hour, but nontheless, you arrive at the caves entrance. As time passed, the rain had gotten heavier, making massive puddles and over flowing the nearby river, not one sign of any presence could be seen in the gloomy area.
Facing the caves entrance, you enter it slowly but surely. You go deeper, the cave getting darker, but warmer and a whole lot more drier. Soon the cave was pitch dark, but.. there was something nearby, what was it? No.. wait, a crystal? It seemed to let off a calming blue glow to it, providing a pretty good light source to help explore the cave alittle more further.
You continue on, holding a few crystals in your hand, they still let off a bright glow. Soon the sounds of a small pond was nearby, the water seemed to ripple lightly, and the cave was completly dry. More crystals grew from the ground, the cave walls, everywhere. The whole cave lit up like a dim lamp at night, or in a dark room. Surprised, you walk near the pond and sit, the sounds of the rain could be heard outside and on the roof of the cave. This seemed like a place you would want to go to everyday, especually at night.
Wait,whats that?.. over...there...
Whats that? Its.. Huge! Whatever it was, and its looking right at you, its eyes flashed like a cats, dark purple eyes.
No, there is no need to be startled, I am harmless It had said to you. You get up instantly, its voice echoed thoughout the cave, it carried much sadness within it, deep, but.. sad.
It made you crumble inside, it was only just a few words! With whatever lighting there was, you could barely see his massive body. Huge mane, and.. wings, its tail was big as well.
Who.. who are you? I mean.. What are you?.."
You say, studdering slightly, unsure if you should have said anything at all.
The large, what it appeared to be a wolf hybrid, peered at you, his wings tucked neatly at his sides, and his eyes half open. My species is unknown, and there is alot one must learn about me. I must add, Im rather stunned that you havent run away as yet. He said with a pleasing nodd.
Why run? You just mentioned that your harmless, and well, its pooring outside, as you can hear already." The rain echoed thoughout the cave, as mentioned before. "So, Im interested, who are you? Ive never seen anyone like you before." You get up from the small well lite pond, and slowly make your way towards the unknown creature. Sitting back down again with a few crystals in your hand, the place was rather cozy and warm.
The creature didnt move an inch, but kept his eyes on you, he seemed, for once, to have happiness within him. He just needed someone to talk to, someone to keep him componey, even if it is just a few minutes. Eaither way, you didnt plan on leaving untill the storm settled down. The creature nodded lightly, his eyes closing for a moment before opening them again, You may call me, Flock."

Hoax. Possibly the only "friend", or anything close to a friend for that matter, Flock will ever have. They've known eachother for many years, even though Hoax comes whenever he pleases.
