When Ray first saw that Draiks had been discovered, she freaked out, because there were only 1,000 of us. People were freaking out, desperate to get a Pet like me. As a veteran Neopian, Ray had a good idea of what to expect.

Two days later, Ray snuck into one of the computer labs at her school a few hours before class was scheduled to start. She signed on and sat down and refreshed the News page for THREE HOURS!!! Finally, the Neopets Staff updated, and casually mentioned that another batch of Draiks had found their way into Neopia!

And obviously, one of those Draiks was me! :)

I am from the second wave of Draiks that arrived in Neopia. I signed up for the First Wave, but it was already full. Maybe that's a good thing, though, because Ray didn't know about the First Wave until they had all found homes! I'm glad she found me, instead of one of the other Draiks, because she's a really good artist.

I came to Neopia Central as a Green Draik, but after some discussion, we've decided that I'd look better in Blue. Actually, I think I'd look fantastic in Cyan, (like my picture) but I'll settle for Blue for now.

So I guess now you're wondering what "Nekulvor" means. At first, Ray thought she'd made a typo and made my name "Nekuvlor," which is just a tongue-twister. It is indeed, Nekulvor. Sort of like "Nekkle vor." I don't know what it means, Ray says she toyed around with N sounds and the L sounds and the "or" sound and came up with this.

I guess you know enough about me now. I'm 84370 hours old, but then, most second-wave Draiks are that age! :)

When Mom joined the Draik Clan, she decided to make some "adoptables." Of course, she also made a customized one of me! We're hosting them on my sister Khreet's site.

We also made a "custom adoptable" for Lyssamre's friend AinadwensEve, and in return her owner drew a custom adoptable of me (because Lyssa's wings are just too hard to draw!)
