It sends shudders down font-rater's spines and forces your font to look... bad. How do I get rid of it?, you may ask. Firstly, head on over to preferences. Scroll down to the neoHTML box and stick '[' in the box. Go down to the neosignature box and stick a ']' in that one. Ta-da! Siggy=gone. 8) neoHTML Now, you probably want to use a different fontface for your neoHTML, instead of the default Verdana size 2, correct? Common fontfaces used for neoHTML: Size one Verdana! || Size one Tahoma! || Size one Calibri! || Size Two Calibri! || Size Two Tahoma! || Size Two Georgia! But feel free to use any type of font you want. If you want to jump on the Font Bandwagon, go right ahead. Just be sure to use easy-to-read fonts. And don't make your neoHTML yellow. I am sure no one on Neo wants to go blind because of the unnecessary neon in your font. 8D Now, onto your neoHTML. Copy and paste this code into your neoHTML box; [center][fontf=tahomas=1c=#333333]neoHTML[/font][/center][ ① [center][/center]. These tags center your font. Obviously. If you don't want a centered font, no biggie. Just get rid of the tags. ;3 ② [fontf=tahoma. This tag allows you to change the font face of your neoHTML! Tahoma is a very over-used font, but I love it. ;P ③ s=1. This tag allows you to change your neoHTML font size. You can only go up to 4. If you decide to put the size tag first, stick font in front of it instead of in front of the f=tahoma tag. Same goes for if you want the color tag first. :3 ④ c=#333333. This is a hex code. If you don't feel like heading on over to PooglewithaG and look up 'color hex codes', just use regular colors, I.E., red, orange, black, etc. I recommend using either black or gray with your neoHTML. Just stop right there. Limit yourself to only 3 symbols per font. Seriously. Don't go symbol-crazy, I guarantee it won't get you a higher font rate. If you want one or two or three of these symbols in your font, just highlight the desired symbol, right-click, and click 'copy'. Then copy it anywhere you want in your font. ;3 making your siggy look PURDY. Now, signatures aren't as limited as neoHTML. Make your fontfaces huge if you want. Georgia size 4 and Tahoma size 4 are way overused, but hey, you're just starting out; why not try it? Experiment with different colors and fonts. Make sure your colors match your avatar. Unless, of course, you are using the Default avatar. Have fun! I'm not going to tell you how to make your font look spectacular. That's your job. ;) Don't know how to make your colors match the avatar you're using exactly? Go to Sunnyneo dot com and find 'Online Eyedropper' under 'Neoboards'. It's really helpful. the latest trends! Here are some font styles that are seen around the AC all the time. These are just to give you an idea, don't steal the exact font. All these fonts that I have screenied are mine, by the way. fadey fadey! ;o I assume you've seen those gradients around the AC? Fading fonts? That was a word was my good friend Camera/Slushie/Cam ;D If you are incapable of picking the correct colors to make your font fade correctly, head on over to Sunnyneo. They have a 'Rainbow Font Maker'. Underneath 'Neoboards', of course. Scroll on down until you see the color box... thing (hah), and pick your colors, how many other colors you want between it, there you go! here we go... picture fonts. Picture fonts. Fonts with objects, people, or words made from blocks, like these: ▄ █ ▌ ▐ ▀ They are definitely not as easy as they may look, I can tell you that much. Diving right into picture-font-making, that's your choice. But I would start off FIRST with regular word fonts, then slowly move on to these lil' gems.
