For the past 5 years of the Altador Cup friendships have been formed, and many fond memories have been shared. However, something a little less pleasant was also born, rivalries. The "Rivals" Challenge was created to spark friendly competition between two rivals, competitors, or even friends! Whomever has the higher rank at the end of the Altador Cup is the victor of the pair. In earning a win over their "rival" they win bragging rights and a "Rivals" Challenge trophy (graphic) for their look-up. It is important to note that while the title of this challenge is "Rivals", friends and teammates are also welcome to challenge one another to The "Rivals" Challenge.
1. Find a rival, friend, or teammate
This can be anyone you know from Neopets who will be playing in this years Altador Cup. A friend, a fellow teammate, or that longtime rival of yours.
2. Send them a Neomail
Once you have selected your partner for The "Rivals" Challenge send them a neomail, make sure that they want to do this challenge against you. (Include a link to this page if needed).
3. Neomail Me (holladios)
Once your partner has accepted your challenge Send Me a Neomail (holladios) telling me that they have accepted. Make sure to include who your partner is in the Neomail.
4. I Will Confirm
I will then message your partner to make sure that they agree to the challenge. After doing so I will add the both of you to The Challengers page, where everyone can see who has challenged who.
5. Complete!
Congratulations, you and your partner are now taking part in The "Rivals" Challenge ACVI. Play all that you can because whomever has the higher rank at the end of the Cup will be the victor!
1. Be Excellent to Eachother
No harassment or banter is tolerated on the RIVALS board, or anywhere else. If someone is caught harassing another competitor then they will be eliminated and their partner will be crowned the victor automatically.
2. Compete and Have Fun.
I know how cliche that sounds, but really, enjoying yourself and staying motivated in the Altador Cup is the best way to win this Challenge, and help out your team.
Q: What happens if me and my partner earn the same rank at the end of the cup?
A: This will cause a tie. In the case of a tie a system of TOTAL win points will be calculated (1 point for every SOSD, MSN game, 6 for every SS games, and then your total goals). Whoever has the highest TOTAL of win points is the victor! (Idea Curtosy of cheyennet2)
Q: When can my partner and I join the challenge?
A: Anytime, So long as the Altador Cup is still going on.
