I was born on a fierce stormy evening on Mystery Island. My mother laid in the pouring rain and snuzzled me with happiness when i was born, protectively positioning herself to shield me from the harsh elements and whispering in my ear that i would be called Nazirah, her dear little Nazzie whom she would never leave.
Within a matter of minutes my mother was urging me to try and get up, with new weak legs this is no easy task, but never the less i managed and followed beside my mother to the comfort of a baren cave that we found in the mountain side.
I grew and lived happily for months to come, but my mother was growing ever older and finding it harder and harder to provide for me. When i was old enough to realise this i started to find my own way, i started to go exploring, before long i had found my own way in life. I visited my mother often, reasurring her that i was alright and telling her all about what i had been doing.
One day, on one of my many visits to see my mother i arrived to an empty cave. She had gone. I've never seen her since, nor do i know what became of her.
The loss of my mother hit me hard, i mourned, walking for days trying to make sense of what had happened, trying to find her - with no avail. I went back to her old cave and waited. And waited. And waited. Ever hopeful that she would return.
My health deteriorated, i became listless and uncaring. Nothing ment anything to me any more, i lost all sense and emotion for life.
The following weeks i grew ever weaker, hardly even bothering to lift my weary frame to go and get a drink from one of the many tinkling springs nearby.
Then it dawned one me. What was i doing here? What was i thinking? Why was i throwing my life away like this? Questions drowned my thoughts as i tried to work out the answers.
My mother wouldn't have wanted me to throw my life away, my mother would have told me to get a grip, she would have told me to get up and get on with living my life.
So i did.
And here i am now.
I pulled myself together and i broke free of the dark shadow that the loss of my mother had left hanging over me, i gained my strength back and i learned to live life to the full.
Unlike other Neopets on the Island i did not seek a group, i did not seek a tribe. Deciding to live by myself was the best choice that i have ever made, i am fully capable able to look after myself and depend on nobody.

~ About me ~

My Name

Of course you already know my name, but do you know what it means? Nazirah is a female Arabic name meaning "Equal". It suits me well as i believe that every creature on this earth should be treated equally, no creature deserves to be honoured above another in my eyes.

My Markings

Most of my markings are white, the only exception is my brown underbelly. I have a 4 point sunburst on each of my shoulders, a half moon followed by two small circles under each eye, A white back dotted with speckles like a fawn, and two stripes complete with two small circles on each of my back legs. My horns, hooves and nose are the same colour as my underbelly.

My Jewerly

I have three earings on my left ear and two on my right. Three bangles on each of my front legs and two on each of my back legs. Two tight bracelets on each of my front legs that sit above my knee, and a necklace made of dried grass dotted with small purple flowers around my neck.

My Home

Mystery Island is rather obviously where i choose to live. It offers me the home that i love, steep mountains to climb and deep forests for me to retreat in. I was born here and don't plan on leaving any time soon.

~ My Personality ~

My views on my own personality... well, i'm thoughtful, and very shy. I like to keep myself to myself and i tend to gravitate away from the center of Neopia becuase it is far too busy for my liking, The secluded forests of Mystery Island suit me just fine and give me the peace that i require.
I have aquired a great liking for Golden Ivy Leaves, but unfortunately only get to taste them once in a while due to the fact that they only grow in the Tyrannian jungle.

~ Kahlua ~

Kahlua is my Island Kadoatie. I came across her in the Forest one day and she's followed me around ever since. It took me a while to get used to having her around because she was very demading and frankly quite spoilt, as Kadoaties usually are. But i've got used to it now and have taught her a few manners. She really is quite a little character, and a lot of fun to have around
