Appearance

Daniel is very vain and as a result, he tends to make sure he looks sharp and pleasing at all times. He enjoys wearing suits and ties. If suits and ties are too formal for the occassion, he opts for wasitcoats and ties. His black and somewhat curly hair is usually messy but is kept in a style that is fashionable. The paleness of his skin serves as a bold contrast to his deep set brown and narrow eyes. During the summer, he tans quite easily. The sun tends to bring out his Romani genes. No matter what look Daniel has on his face, his lips are usually slightly curved upwards. Whenever he walks, his head leans forward an inch, but to most people it looks exagerrated since he's so tall.

Personality

When his employees are asked to describe Daniel, the first thing they say is, "He's very cool." Even when he is just standing in one spot, Daniel practically exudes cool. He has a very laid back personality and an almost indifferent attitude which contributes to his "coolness". Although he is laid back, he is not a pushover. In fact, Daniel is great at subtly manipulating other people to do things he wants. He never takes no as an answer. Being manipulative implies that he's calculated and quick to act. He can observe others for a long time without getting bored. But if people want something from him (such as a raise, which he is often asked), he will gladly give it to them... For a price.

Daniel is a social butterfly. He loves talking to others and charming them. He has lots of friends and seems to remember every single person he meets. Even though he has very few close friends, he enjoys being around larger groups of people and hates one on one intimacy. A lot of his best friends get pushed to the side easily, however, Daniel knows where his loyalties lie. He'd rather stick up for a friend of ten years than for someone he just met a couple of months prior. That being said, Daniel can get pretty agressive and violent. He does not hesitate to smash his hand into someone else's face. When he gets caught up in the adrenaline of anything (mainly fighting), it's pretty hard to get him to stop.

History

The circus has always been a part of Daniel's life. His mother was an acrobatic and gave birth to him while on the road. When she was younger, her dark skin and striking looks drew many people to her acts and she often was the headlining act. As a result, she also attracted many suitors, including Daniel's Japanese father. However, the relationship did not last long. Heartbroken, she took Daniel with her to America. There she told cards and sang music while going from city to city. Daniel loved this lifestyle and as soon as he was of age, he started his own circus company: Ainsley Arcadia. He named the circus this after a strange reoccuring dream he had as he grew up. He dreamt of a wonderful untouched lands filled with acres of trees. Every night, he'd play with a tree nymph which he later came to know was a dryad named Ainsley. For his act in his circus, he does fortune telling. Naturally, fortune telling brings in many women. Considering that Daniel is male and has a very suave personality, the line to his booth doubles. Whether or not his fortunes are actually true, he never tells, not even to his own colleagues.

Appearance

Ainsley is one of the very few beings that is taller than Daniel. In general, Dryads are much taller since they take on the appearance of trees. Since Ainsley is a tree spirit, she can manipulate her appearance any way she wants to.

Personality

She enjoys Daniel's company and is quite jealous of anyone else who tries to capture his affections. However, her pride gets in the way of expressing her feelings. Generally, Ainsley is quite stoic. She hardly gets as passionate as quickly and extremely as Daniel does. Her acts of kindness are few and far between and generally shocks most people she knows when she doest decide to be kind.

Abilities

As for her abilities, Ainsley is able to take over the spirit of tree's and become one with it. It's redundant seeing as she already looks so much like a tree, but it does come in useful when she is injured or is in need of a disguise. Ainsley is also known to be able to an excellent fighter. She can control the shapes of her limbs and turn them into sharpened and deadly wooden daggers. When her limbs are cut off, she is able to regenerate them. Depending on how much is cut off, it can take seconds to weeks to regenerate.
