Nalatah
Welcome She sat upon the surface of a cliff, that hung over the forest below. The emerald fire that was reflected from below, danced in her eyes making them look alive. Her only hope of acquiring a home had now vanished, right before her, because of her. She sighed and cocked her head, watching the trees disinigrate into a new material, soot. So much of that she had seen lately, and she about howled as she thought of that state once more. Simmering anger boiled up in her, uncontrollable, unconquerable. She jerked her gaze away from the scene to restrict her desire to once more find a home. She knew she would never fit in, never belong. Had it always been that way? Oh no, of course not. She took one last look at the forest in which she had destroyed, and walked away into the darkness, where she belonged.
Basics
Name: Nalatah (Nala)
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Color: Green
Personality: Distant, Banished, Cold
Status: Unknown
Family: None
Element: Emerald Fire
Personality
Nala is a distant and quiet xweetok who finds joy in burning things. Although she has this elation, she discovers discomfort in the knowledge of hurting others. She is cold (not literally, she does have fire as her element), and becomes uncomfortable when approached. But if you bug her enough, she will start talking so her ears can have a break, and soon you will know her whole life's story (or that's what you'll think since it seems so long). But be careful, say one wrong thing, and you'll never have the courage to even look at her again. Easily angered, most Neopets tend to stay away from her, making her even more hostile when confronted.
Her Power
Nala has powers beyond even her knowledge. She is most in favor of her green fire ability because it seems so unique. She can shape her fire any way she chooses as long as she sees a connection between the two. It is rumored that she once bended her fire into a gem for which she presented to her parents grave after their burial.

Her Story
As of the moment, this is a long story and it's not yet finished. If you don't want to read it, then that's your problem.
When Nala was born, she was a normal looking kit, just like all of the others. She cried when hungry, and slept when tired. She befriended all of the other kits in the nursery (something actually surprisingly easy to do) quite quickly and played with them throughout the day. At the age of 3 years, Nala was much stronger than most kits were supposed to be. Even of that, most of the adults looked upon Nala and predicted much promise from her. Her parents praised upon Nala because of her wit and strength, that of which they didn't have till they were much older. The elders would watch Nala intently, and spend their days foretelling stories of great accomplishments she would probably fulfill. When Nala turned 7, her mother died. Although sick for quite a while, and although prepared, Nala took the tragedy with a heavy heart. She strayed away from the other play fights in which the now older kits spent their days with, ate rarely, never came to the pack meetings, and never spoke to anyone. Her father, completly concerned, tried many times to talk to Nala, but she just waved her tail dissmissivly and walked away. None of the other Xweetoks were sure, but when Nala's father died (Nala at the age of 9), they believed it was of a broken heart. Not just because of his mate's death, but because of Nala's depression and seclusion from the rest of the pack. After her father's death, Nala mysteriously dissapeared.
She would be seen wandering aimlessly through forests and plains, completly (or so it seemed) unknowing of where she was going or headed. When she stumbled upon yet another group of xweetoks, instead of just plowing through like she usually did, suddenly overcome with fatigue, she collapsed in the center of the clearing. She lived with the group until she was 13. Then (a tradition in the group), she was banished to fend for herself until she was 15 (when she was allowed to come back). This was to prove you were able to live on your own in case something ever happened to the group. So she set off on her 2 year trek. Returning when it was time, she found the clearing in which she had called home for 4 years, had been deserted and forgotten. That night, she mourned for herself in the center of the clearing and slept on the curses she sent to whereever the group had gone. When she woke up the next morning however, she felt stronger than she ever had, and she had gained a strange green marking on her left thigh along with two rings around her left ankle. Feeling thirst, she traveled to the nearby waterhole and took a drink. And then she noticed her reflection. So much different, more agile, more lean than it had been when she left for her vagabond. But she also had green lines across her ears, and what looked like an emerald mask over her eyes. She liked the look, and smiled in satisfaction.
Some 6 months later, she was captured by what she learned were called "humans". They kept her for tests and alot of the time, she found her self in strange metallic colored bars. The "humans" cut into her and examined everything while she was sleeping. They also made her sleep with some type of substance in which they had to stab a sharp point into her body. After 6 more months of this brutal treatment, Nala had to wear what the "humans" called "bandages" around three of her four legs, so as to keep her wounds from reopening. Only 2 weeks after she acquired the bandages, did she find out she could set fires. Emerald ones. She practiced whenever the "humans" weren't around her, even staying up late into the night, losing much sleep. But she soon mastered the technique, and planned destruction for the horrible place in which she was imprisoned. One night, making many "humans" competly baffled, the laboratory mysteriously caught fire. Green fire. And the whole place was destroyed.
Now at the age of 16, Nala decided to find a perminent home. She wandered the land, finding many places, but many times getting angry at something or other, and burning it down. She couldn't control her skill when angry, it seemed impossible. After a year of this happened repetivly, Nala gave up.
Companion
At some point in time, Nala came upon a little Ganuthor. Having the personality of a puppy, the petpet followed her around until she adruptly turned around (scaring it), and yelled 'Your such a yakkai!' With a confused look on it's face, the Ganuthor replied 'Yakkai?' Nala narrowed her eyes, and looked at the thing quizzialy. 'Yakkai' the thing repeated again, 'My name Yakkai now!' It smiled broadly, showing sharp little teeth. Nala seethed, but said nothing. She soon grew fond of Yakkai however, and pretty soon decided that it needed to learn to fly. That was an experiance you HAD to have seen ^^ Now, Yakkai is her closest companion, and won't leave her side for the world. And even though Yakkai is a little older now, he still doesn't know that his name means 'a bother
