As you step out into the place where you have heard makeables may be found a giant winged serpent rises out of the grass beside a signpost. Staring in awe at her you realize that giant is a good choice of words. Her body is as thick around as a human's torso and she is over twenty feet long. As she rears up to face you it seems that she is the guardian of these makeables.

Hsssst! What want you here human?

Th-the makeables. you manage to stammer, pointing at the little images just visible behind the serpent's bulk.

Ahhh, you are a human of taste then. Perhaps I shall not eat you for intruding on my domain. But, beware little morsel. There are rules you must follow with these. Obey them or I shall hunt thee down…for dinner!

Turning her head slightly the serpent spreads one wing in a sweeping gesture towards the sign post beside her. Stepping cautiously closer you bend to read it.

  1. You may not remove the name from these.
  2. You may not in any way claim to have drawn them.
  3. You may not enter these in either the Art Gallery or the Beauty Contest.
  4. You will link any makeable you post back to Naerdwen's page so that others may find the bases as well.
  5. You may alter the makeables to add wings, hair, etc; but you may still not remove the name.


Seeing that you have read the rules the serpent slithers smoothly aside.

Sinking back into the tall grass the serpent disappears from sight as you walk up to choose a makeable. The choice is limited but another sign states that more are on their way.
