Hello, my name is Christopher Wallace. I am here to tell you about the dangers of the newest illegal substance which is, unfortunately, becoming ever-increasingly popular among barely-pubescent teenage girls worldwide. This substance is called Neopets.com, but it is often called by its slang names, such as "just a bunch of pixels". But, believe me, it is not simply a "bunch of pixels". It is a menace to our society, and to our children's futures.
Neopets.com is a depressant. This means that users under its influence will often become sluggish, lazy, and unwilling to do anything other than sit in front of their computer screens and click the refresh button. While these periods may feel good while they last, they soon come to an end when a parent needs the computer for work or a sibling needs it for homework. After such an event occurs, the user will often become depressed and will resort to poorly-done art for a "beauty contest" which they claim exists in an imaginary world that one sees while under the influence of Neopets.com.
Users will sometimes stay up for days on Neopets.com binges, on hallucinogenic quests to help the "pets" which they see or simply talking to other users. And when their supply of Neopets.com runs out, whether it be via parents blocking their income of the substance by cutting off their internet connection or via the much-feared "down for maintenance terry", a Neopets.com user will spiral into withdrawal.
Neopets.com withdrawal is one of the most diffucult in the world of illegal substances. A former user will dream about the "pets" they owned in their Neopets.com-induced world and wake up crying, absolutely heartbroken. Some severe addicts have completely ignored the death of a family member because they were too depressed about their lack of Neopets.com.
Neopets.com is no joke, despite what dealers may say. They say it is a "children's site" and that "it's so much fun", but this is not true.
