Intro
You walk through Faerie City, Window browsing. You take a peek insidie Faerie Foods as an Earth Faerie prepares various pastries. She smiles at you through the window and you wave back. Continuing down the walkway you look up at the cloudy sky, and notice a Rainbow appearing. You smile, and slowly start feeling warm inside. You're not quite sure why, so you continue. The weapon shop has many glowing items, and the Faerie in the Bookshop has her nose deep in a book. All of a sudden, someone runs into your back, and you stumble foreward onto the ground.Ohhh, Im so sorry! The Pteri cries. I wasn't watching where I was going. She helps you up and brushes you off. You notice a large rainbow behind her, and ask about it.
Hm, what? Oh that! Yes, I make rainbows! The Light Faerie and the Water Faerie bestowed upon me, Mystem, to create rainbows all throughout Neopia! So if you ever see a Rainbow, be sure to wave, and I might stop by for a visit!

Ho hum... The grey faerie sighed. I have no powers...I have no name...I have no friends... She plucked a dying flower.
The grey clouds covering Neopia got darker, and a large storm began. The two faeries sat inside their room, looking out their -blocked- Both looking almost as sad as the Grey Faerie below.
Shh, she's waking up! The pteri slowly opened her eyes to two faeries looking over her.
She flew around, the rain splashing in her face. She looked behind her, but there was nothing. She started to get worried. Mystem flew as hard as she could, but still, no rainbow. She squinted her eyes and bolted as fast as she could. She noticed the Grey Faerie sitting in a field below, and she started to think of how happy she wants that faerie to be. A glow came from her necklace, and she peered behind her. A Rainbow! It must be when I want others to feel happy. She thought. So she flew down and made circles around the Grey Faerie. The Faerie looked up in amazement, and Mystem winked at her. The Grey Faerie smiled. The rain stopped and the clouds dissapeared. Mystem flew up high, and across the sky for all to see.

Neopia! Its all...grey! Theres no light, no color, oh, its horrible! The Light Faerie moved over so the Water Faerie could look down.
Oh my... She got closer. Grey... Do you think this has something to do with Baelia after her rescue? The finned faerie looked at the light faerie.
It must. She's been so sad lately...it must be affecting the weather. They both went down to Neopia to investigate.
Baelia! The light faerie fluttered next to her. Are you ok? The grey faerie looked up at her with puffy red eyes. Her face saddened even more.
Please, I have no name... the grey faerie looked down at the ground. The water faerie appeared behind them in a bubble.
We will have to find you a name then! She said triaumphantly.
Its not that easy. The grey faerie snapped. Theres more to it then just that. The two other faeries looked at eachother. They left the sad faerie to herself as they flew back to Faerieland.
Poor Bae- Grey faerie. She's been through so much... The light faerie said, elbows on knees, chin on hands.
Yea...and we dont even know how to name her. The watery Faerie played with her plushie catamara. I mean, can we just...say it? She looked at the Light faerie, who shook her head.
No...I think its much harder then that. Just then a Pteri flew uncontrollably by their -blocked-
What was that?! The water faerie rushed to the -blocked-
I dont know, but Im going to see if its ok! The light faerie buzzed out the window, and carried the wind-beaten Pteri back to their room.
Oh, my head.... The Pteri rubbed her noggin.
What happened? The water faerie asked, handing her a cup of water.
Er...I lost control when I tried to land... She said shyly. Her landing skills were something to be imagined.
Well, you seem to be ok now! The light faerie happily said. Whats your name?
Mystem. She said with a smile. Im fine but Neopia isnt. the Pteri remarked while drinking the water. Why is it so...dull?
The Faeries explained to the Pteri about the Grey Faerie. After listing intently for awhile, The pteri nodded and stood up.
Well, I think we have to find a way to either get her mind off her name, or just make her feel better! It would need color...and light! The pteri started to ponder. The water Faerie and the Light faerie began to grow a smirk on their face. Mystem looked up at them. Hm? What? You got a good idea?
The light faerie put her hand on the birds shoulder.
Can you do something for me? It will be a hard job, and you would have to work all the time, but it will be rewarding, I promise. The light faerie smiled while looking into the eyes of the bird before her.
Well, what is it?
We want you to make color in the sky. We want you to make Rainbows. The water faerie interrupted.
Yes, and if she were to see that, it would make her happy. Will you do it? The light faerie looked at Mystem. Mystem, without hesitation,
Of course! She smiled. The water faerie and the light faerie nodded, and while putting their hands togeather they began to glow. A flash of light beamed from their hands, and when it faded a necklace appeared between them.
Here, take this. The water faerie handed the necklace to Mystem. It will grant you the power to create Rainbows with your Tail. She took the necklace and put it on. Now, for it to work you need to fly around. Mystem nodded and jumped up onto the window sill. And make sure the Grey Faerie sees you! She yelled as the Pteri took off.
Thank you. Whispered the Grey Faerie.

What Are Rainbows?
Rainbows are refracted white light. They are caused when Sunlight in shone through water droplets (or prisms) and are refleced and refracted into the broken up spectrum. When it rains, and the sun shines through the clouds, the individual waterdroplets "split" the light into the colors of the rainbow. The split light is reflected off of the back of the raindrop and to you to see.
