Hey hey guest, this is Sand_in_a_bottle here! I bet you're wondering what these 'gram things are. No, they have nothing to do with Eliv Thade. You're thinking of anagrams.
Let's put it this way. Write the word SWIMS in capital letters on a piece of paper. Now, turn the piece of paper upside-down. Still says SWIMS, doesn't it? When you can turn a word upside-down like this, it is called an AMBIGRAM. For those who like dictinaryesque definitions, here you go. I wrote one.

ambigram (noun) Say am-bah-gram
A word, often artistically drawn, which has perfect rotational symmetry of 180 degrees (ie. legible upside-down). eg. SWIMS, MOW.
[Latin – 'ambiguus' changing sides]
[Greek – 'gram' a letter]

In my spare time, I sometimes grab a piece of paper and try to force a word into an ambigram. I specialize in first names but I'm pretty flexible and will make nearly anything ambigrammatic. When I have finished drawing an ambigram on a piece of paper, I then transfer it onto good ol' MS Paint before plonking it onto the internet. Hard work, but rewarding. Now for the boring stuff you have to read, the rules.

Ok. As you've probably figured out, I make ambigrams. I'm not just handing them out though. You have to follow the rules. That way, you'll get your ambigram, I'll get the credit, and we'll all be happy.
Ok. Easiest rule ever - No Stealing. A nice straightforward one. You have to keep the link on the ambigrams you use or (let's just put it this way) I won't be happy. Removing the link is only ok if you give me credit somewhere else on the page in clear view of all page visitors. I'll forgive honest mistakes, but if you don't link after I warn you that's a big no-no. And no claiming you made them either, or else I'll… Oh, wait. Family site. Right *SheepishGrin*.
Let's see. Next rule is more of a how-to-do-guide: Requesting Ambigrams. Let's just say that your name isn't Laura or Kate. In fact, you name isn't on here at all. It looks like you'll have to request an ambigram. First of all, I only do generic words that a lot of people can use. If you want an ambigram of SharonRoxMySox or cutie_wutie_me735734 and such, I won't do it. However, Sharon or Cutie are totally acceptable. If your name is a little outlandish or unusual (trust me, I get these a lot), I'll still do it but I'll post it on a different pet's page (usually Tilloa the Xweetok's) for you to pick it up. By the way, I will under no cicumstances make ambigrams of words which are against the Terms and Conditions. If you want, you can request things like the size of the ambigram you want and the type of dot you want over the 'i'. Keep in mind, however, that I don't do colours (what if someone else with the same name hated red and wanted a blue one?) and you can't request whether you want it capitalized or not (I always do the case which is the most flexible for the word). Just neomail me with your request and wait a week or so. As long as you tell me exactly what you want, I should have it done pretty quick. Keep in mind that, although I'll still make it for you, you'll probably get a warmer reception if you refrain from calling my ambigrams 'amba-thingies'.

Last of all, I like tips and constructive criticism. Things like "I don't like to be the one pointing this out, but the 'h' in the 'Mathew' ambigram is back-to-front on Sand's Gram's," are great (especially since the 'h' in the 'Mathew' ambigram really is back-to-front until I get around to changing it). However, no-one likes an "OMG THE H IN THE AMBIGRM OF MY NAME LOOX REALLY WEIRD! CHANGE IT!!!!". You'll most likely get a snarky reply and no ambigram. I also just like people neomailing to compliment my ambigrams. I've had a neomail saying nothing but 'Nice Ambigrams' and it seriously made my day. :)
