From across the spacious lobby you hear an impatient voice;

May I help you?

You turn to see where the voice is coming from.


Are you here to see--well why else would you be here?
She mutters to herself for a moment before focusing her attention on you again.
Do you have an appointment?

You shake your head.

Well then--
She is cut off by the shrill ring of a phone.
Mmhm...Yes. Yes. Yes sir.

You decide to sink further back into your seat. Having nothing else to do, you twiddle
your thumbs a bit while the receptionist continues to nod at the phone.

He will be ready for you momentarily
She says, hanging up the phone.

You wonder who exactly this 'he' is. You look over at the receptionist again. She is
scribbling something across a slip of paper. She looks up.

She beckons you over and points to the elevator.
Take the elevator up to floor thirty-five. From there, go down the hallway to
your right. Then take the ornate elevator--you'll know which one when you see it--
to his office... That's the only place it goes she mutters. When you get to the elevator,
someone will probably ask if you're authorized to be there. Just hand them this slip
of paper... It's just for security purposes, you know.

She shoos you off to the elevator. However once the doors start to close, you realize,
you never even told her your name. You shrug and decide to see whomever-it-is that
you're supposed to see... After all, you really don't have a choice. You just hope you can
remember the directions she had given you.

After a couple of wrong turns and embarrassed direction asking, you find yourself in
front of a large golden elevator with an elaborately sculpted frame. Angels (or are they
Cupids?) emerge from vines of blooming flowers and ripened fruit. However a
tall, extra-formally dressed man interrupts your gazing.

Excuse me, but...

You quickly hand him the paper. As friendly as this guy looks, he kind of gives you th
creeps. He nods at you and wishes you good day as you scurry in. However while your
back is turned, you hear him greet another person.

Ah good day.... um.... madam......?

You turn around to see whom he was addressing, but no one other than him is around.
The doors close and the elevator softly starts to rise.

You start to get the feeling something is watching you, and quickly scan the ceiling as
well as the area behind you. Only the rich wallpaper and engraved crown molding stare
back. You wait uneasily and your eyes drift to the floor.

You let out a gasp. A strange... thing is staring back at you!


It waves and nods hello. You stare at it for a moment. It doesn't seem to be violent or
harmful in any way, so you restlessly turn your gaze back towards the door and pray
that you're almost there.

You can still feel its eyes on you.

After what seems like eternity, the doors finally open and you hurry out. In front of you
is a long and spacious hallway... a hypostyle hall-like hallway. Between the collums you
can see some art hanging. You walk slowly as to gaze at the pictures.

Cae is fairly young yet extremely wealthy business owner. His father vanished a few years ago which left him in charge of his father's enormous company. Although a he can be a bit too carefree in spending, he continues to keep the company thriving. He is rather greedy and usually will not help anyone unless there is some form of benefit for him. Many people are afraid of him since with all that money, he could probably do anything. He often acts older than he is and is quite smart for his age. He also has a facination with a girl named Netus.
Name:
Cae's given name is Caerus (KAI-ruhs). He was named after the Greek god of opportunity, luck, and favorable times. Coincidentally, he lived up to his name. Now he is often called Caesar (KAI-sahr) due to his extreme wealth and power. .
Age:
Around 24ish.
Appearance:
Has longish smooth platinum hair and calm blue eyes. He usually does not show much emotion other than smug, arrogant, or calm (with the occasional irritated expression). He always dresses formal and his favorite tie is a blue striped tie with a monogramed 'C' in it. He's also above average height-wise. Background:
Cae was the only child born to a simple middle-class family. At one point his family suffered great financial loss, but when his father started a business they became very rich very quick. Cae spent the later part of his life living a luxurious lifestyle before studying business to be the heir to his fathers company. His parents vanished, assumed to be dead in a plane crash, and he inherited an incredible wealth. He was born in Italy and loves Roman history, often mixing Latin phrases into his speech.
