I updated the Foster page with applicants who have been accepted! See the last update if you are unsure why you are not on the list.

I am thinking about deciding owners for Scarletwhip and Suoop. I haven't had as much interest in the last few weeks, so it's either going to be that I implement deadlines or just choose new owners!

Viseli has been successfully transferred to his new owner!

Suoop was zapped Maraquan today, so is now up for adoption. At the moment there is no deadline.

I also updated the questionnaire a bit. I decided that I needed to emphasize the importance of future plans for my fosters, so instead of asking "Do you have.." I changed it to "Include your future plans".

Rules

Only send neomails to jeany210 (using the blue envelope below).
Your account should be at least 4 months old.
Include the pledge of good ownership in your application:
If I am chosen, I, (your name), pledge to be the best owner I can be for my new Neopet, (pet's name). I understand all the sadness that he/she has already been through, and so I will provide everything he/she needs to be happy. I promise to be a friend to my new Neopet and never ever ever put him/her through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.
Only apply if you actually plan on keeping my pet. I do not tolerate trading.
Answer the questions here in any manner you want (neomail, petpage, off site)

How to apply

There are several ways in which you can apply for a pet at The Jellybean Foundation.

First, neomail jeany210 by clicking one of the blue envelopes. It is just to let me know you are planning on applying.

Then, decide what type of application you want to do - I do not mind. It is your choice whether you do a neomail or petpage application.

Read through my rules several times, and make sure you can commit.

Copy and paste the form here into either your neomessage or petpage.

Use the application tips section which includes links to guides for both neomail and petpage applications.

These questions must all be filled in, no excuses. If an application is submitted to me, but has not answered all the questions (apart from question 7) at some point in the application, then it will be rejected.

As long as you answer these questions in your application, no matter how you answer them, it is fine.

Compulsory questionnaire

1) What is the name of the foster you want to adopt?
2) List all your accounts, and say what their significance is (e.g. main account, side account etc.) Let me know which account my foster would stay on:
3) Tell me a bit more about you, online and offline:
4) Why do you wish to adopt my foster?
5) Include your plans for my pet. (e.g. BC, roleplaying, reading books, customisation etc.)
6) Are you planning a personality and/or story for my foster? If so, explain:

Application Tips

If you want to go the extra mile, here are some of my own tips to make a good application. Scroll down for various helpful links.

I cannot stress this enough - call my foster by her/him, their name or a nickname! Never call them an it, it's dreadful.
Give an example of a current permie of yours, which is similar to the treatment you will give my foster.
Have you told me the plans you have for my pet, whatever they are? Impress me and give examples of how you are going to do that. Planning on entering my foster in the BC? Link me to the entry you'll use. Planning on roleplaying? RP example! Customising? List the items you will buy/have bought or show a picture of the planned outfit. The list goes on! Get the picture? ;)
Once your application is finished, be it a neomail or petpage, get someone to read it over and spell check it for spelling or grammatical errors.
I do not mind if you use premades in a petpage application. However if you are feeling creative, if the original creator of the premade allows for editing, you could maybe customise the premade to match the foster you are applying for.
If you are doing a petpage application, put a note that I did not require you to make a petpage application. This will protect you and me from being potentially frozen.
